The hotel service was absolutely wonderful, the Four Seasons do have a rep. To live up to and try sure did. I was in NY visiting relatives and loads of shopping and it did provide a comfortable place to lay back after a long hard day. The food was delicious

Stayed one night for our anniversary. It is across the street from Central Park, ask for a "park view" room. The service, as usual for a Rtiz property was attentive and smooth. The only unfortunate thing was that the restaurant was not open as it was being updated...so it will only be better next time!!

We came to NY for my husband's fiftieth birthday to see a show and stay overnight. Ender, at the front desk, saw that it was my husband's birthday and upgraded our room. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room was fantastic; immaculate as always and very spacious with a wonderful view. We had drinks and a snack as well as breakfast in the lobby lounge; everything was outstanding. We will come back again soon! My husband and I stay at many Ritz-Carlton hotels, and this one ranks in our top five!

It was great. Close to everything and it was a beautiful apartment which was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Certainly would stay there again. Also dealing with Orbitz was the best. We had to change our arrangements and they were very accommodating

Best location ever!

The location was PERFECT: 2 blocks away from two different subway lines; spitting distance from the Museum of Natural History and Central Park; blocks from Zabars and H & H Bagel... I couldn't have been more enchanted. The hotel was so different than the big chain hotels that we have in Dallas. It was in a charming neighborhood, with an old-fashioned lobby, worn tile mosaic floors, a narrow twisty staircase and the tiniest gem of a room. No long, straight hallways with a million doors on each side: everything was set at angles and around corners. What character! My, our room was small! But my daughter and I thought it was cute (we're not big people, and we didn't come to NY to stay in the room anyway!). It was unlike anything I've seen in Big D--but that's why we came to New York! Our room and bathroom were tiny, tiny, tiny. But that was the only drawback. Loved it, and I will try to get back there the next time I go to NYC.

We spent our anniversary weekend at the Plaza, and had a wonderful experience. It was pricey, but worth it for the memories, the location, and the way we were treated by every single staff member we met. They were overly accomodating and kind. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed four nights at this hotel. Best location for shopping. Wonderful experience. Staff made us feel very welcome. Service in Palm Court and Bars was outstanding. Great bed-never slept better. Very expensive hotel but worth it - would definitely stay at the Plaza again. They also provide a BMW 7 to take guests anywhere within a ten block radius. Just ask doorman if car is available.

Perfect location for our first visit to NYC. Walking distance to Empire State bldg, Grand Central Terminal, Times Sqr, Rockefeller Center, great shopping and much more. Little pricey, but that is what you should expect for a world class hotel. Staff was very nice and welcoming. It was our anniversary and they had a card, cake, and champagne waitng in our room. We stayed in a king suite and it was very large and well appointed. Loved that the drinks in the mini fridge were free and stocked daily. We will be staying here again!!!

Beautifully appointed rooms, spacious, lots of storage space, bright and airy. Free internet. Nice electronic blackout blinds. Very stylish public areas. Staff really friendly in an authentic way. Location just a block from Central Park is outstanding, plus in Upper East Side it's away from the tourism hubbub, but still good restaurants and shopping nearby. It is a few blocks to a Starbucks though!

The Carlyle is absolut the best hotel in NYC !
We felt very welcomed and the fantastic staff helped in every way. The Gentlemen at the elevators were also very nice and patient. The view from our room was breathtaking! Coffee & Juice in the Lobby, daily newspaper, Kiehl products and an outstanding housekeeping! We`ll be back !!! THANK YOU ALL !

Trump Soho is a fairly new and beautiful hotel in a great location in NYC. I booked three rooms for a business group trip and found large rooms with every attention to detail and two with extraordinary views, but the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff is very noteworthy.

Excellent emplacement au coeur de Manhattan, permettant de rayonner à pied ou en transports en commun (proximité gare centrale/métro et express 42nd Str). Restauration sur place de bonne qualité++ et originale. Moins onéreuse dans chaines alentours. Face Public Librairy et Briant Park square où nous avons souvent pris le petit déjeuner acheté au kiosque; nombreuses tables sous les arbres au milieu des tours ! Personnel agréazble, anglophone: si problème , demander Caroline côté restaurant qui se fera un plaisir de répondre à vos questions. Premier séjour à NYC et totalement séduite !

From before we even arrived, Sam, was fantastic, accommodating, and cordial. The place was more than expected; huge, clean, very comfortable. Location is great, and everyone was very nice. They even arrange pick ups for airport.

Das Hotel ist an bester Lage in Manhattan. Es bietet alles, was man erwartet inkl. Gratis-WLAN und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sogar Fitnesscenter-Eintritte sind dabei. Hervorragend war das immer zuvorkommende Personal, das auch gerne mal Sonderwünsche berücksichtigt (gegen übliche Trinkgelder natürlich). Generell hat das Haus den Plus-Zusatz im Namen verdient, auch in Punkto Sauberkeit.

Great Location right on Times square but still manages to be quiet inside! Room was spotless, as was everywhere, Ricks cafe was great for coffee and loved the cheese & wine reception every eve. would defiantly recommend.

Best stay i've ever had anywhere. Staff were fantastic, polite and helpful and would go the extra mile to answer any request. Perfect location, mere feet from Times Square but managing to block most of the noise so you weren't disturbed at night. The hotel staff was great! I arrived Friday at 8 p.m. and they didn't have my 11 nights reservation on their system for some reason. There was also a shortage of rooms because of the US Open. The front desk staff handled the problem very professionally and gave me a room with king size bed for a couple of nights so that they would have time to solve the problem. They kept me informed about the situation during the weekend and on Monday everything was clear and I was able to continue my stay as originally planned.
My room was large, the bed was comfortable and it was great to have a refrigerator in the room. The location of the hotel is great, it is close to Rockefeller Center, Central Park and several subway stations and still it was also a very peaceful and quiet place. The breakfast was good and I also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea/coffee and wine at the club room.
When I come back to New York I will definitely consider staying at Hotel Elysee again.

Had a great room. Clean and spotless. Amenities were excellent, love the shoe buffer, they could have added a mouthwash. Buffet breakfast was very well presented and tasty. Staff wonderful, helpful and hospitable, i.e. Front Desk and wait staff at breakfast. It is a little on the $$$$ side, but a great hotel, in a perfect location.

Good Hotel. The room was clean. Absoluitely no view: they put us in a room a back of Hotel, but I was a "one-nighter", so I didn't care. Staff was nice and obliging. Emily wanted a massage on short notice (on a Saturday, yet) and they obliged--for $286, which must be a new world record. On balance, it was a nice experience, although I prefer the Regency (which was not available, or priced out of sight).

The only thing is that there is no coffee maker in the room and the minibar is verry overpriced.
The bed was excellent. The concierge and the doorman were supremely helpful.
The maid service didn't get around to our room on the 17th floor as quickly as we would have preferred.

First time at the Library and I won't stay anywhere else in the future. The staff is friendly (all of them!), the room comfortable and nicely appointed. The breakfast bar is so good and a great way to save money. As is the wine and cheese at 5pm and coffee/water/sweets provided all day. Just a wonderful wonderful hotel.

Perfect location for central park and short walk to broadway and times square.
Hotel was lovely and staff were very helpful but restaurant, room service and bar prices very expensive.
Would definately recommend buying the New York Pass, we had a 3 day pass with bus tours included and we seen all the main attractions plus a few we may not have considered.

WE ARRIVED IN THE CITY EARLY AND DECIDED TO CHECK WITH THE HOTEL TO SEE IF WE COULD POSSIBLY GET AN EARLY CHECK IN. THE YOUNG WOMAN THAT ANSWERED SAID SHE WOULD CHECK AND WHEN SHE CAME BACK TO THE PHONE SHE VERY KINDLY TOLD ME SHE HAD ARRANGED IT AND WE COULD COME AT ANY TIME. ONCE WE GOT THERE THE STAFF COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE ACCOMODATING.

j'ai pris une chambre pour 6 couchages, j'ai du en annuler un car la personne pour cause de santé n'a pas pu venir, mais je ne comprend pas pourquoi quand on paie pour 6 personnes il y en a deux qui doivent dormir sur un canapé qui a un matelas tellement fin que l'on sent tous les ressorts, au prix qui nous est demandé c'est absolument inadmissible.
J'attend vos explications

Stayed at the Andaz Wall Street for four nights over Christmas.
Welcome was reasonably pleasant and check-in was fairly swift and uncomplicated. Had requested adjacent rooms but were given rooms on different floors - was too tired to question it.
Were informed that some of the facilities - like the spa and gym were still unavailable due to flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Doors to the rooms are controlled by RFID cards - which you need to press up against the door lock above the handle - the light will turn green once the door is unlocked.
Rooms were large and well appointed, including a large flat screen tv. The lights and window blind are controlled by a wall mounted control panel, allowing different lighting levels.
Room was cleaned to a good standard daily - with towels / bedding replaced upon request.
There are free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in the mini-bar which are replaced daily - the alcohol is NOT free with 200ml bottles of spirits being $28 and the bottles of beer are $8.
Local telephone calls are also included - helpful when arranging our return transfer to the airport.
Room service was fairly efficient with a reasonable selection - although a delivery charge of $5, a service charge of 18% and New York Sales Tax have to be added on to the menu price.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay here if I was to be in New York again.

My friend and I were going to New York for a girl's weekend. While everything else we looked at was way over $400 for a Saturday night, we found this hotel for less than $300. Now granted, it's not in the liveliest of spots for a Saturday night, but a $14 cab ride to the hot spots sure sounded a lot cheaper than an extra $100 hotel room. The staff were friendly and welcoming! Found our room easily. Large bathroom with normal amenities. But it was the features of the room and bathroom that made you feel like you paid a lot more than $300. Not too far from Ground Zero and the NYSE. Great location, just keep in mind you'll pay for transportation to and from the main attractions, but it's a lot less than what you would spend on a hotel closer! AND they even held our luggage for us while we went sightseeing. Great place, I would highly recommend it.
