Staff was friendly and effiicient. No hasssels checking in or out. Room was ready when I arrived and was as promised. Parking was a bit tight once the rooms were all full. Had to use a handicap spot one night or park on the street. Overall,,it was a good stay.

We came up to go to Oktoberfest at Whiteface Mt. This hotel was nice and affordable. It was clean and comfortable, but definitely a little dated. They did have a nice pool and hot tub. Overall, it was a decent place to stay if you are trying to save a little money.

The suite we had at the Crowne Plaza was perfect! The floor we were on was adults ONLY!! Very quiet and relaxing. All the shops of Lake Placid were only a few steps away. We will definately return to this hotel next time we are in placid!

The stay here was wonderful. The food was good including room service. The views from the room and loby were great! The only down side was the room bed was like sleeping on a rock.
The location was also why i picked the Hotel. Just a short walk down to main street and the shuttle buss will take you everywhere else in town.
Compaired to the other places in town we stayed at this is the place we keep comming back to.

We were stopping in Lake Placid on our trip through Andirondacks and we were happy to select this hotel. Very convenient location for visit in the village and local hiking and skiing, yes they opened the slopes day after Thanksgiving. Clean room and bath, courteous guest attendants, splendid view on the Mirror lake and the mountains around! You can use all amenities of the "parent" HIgh Picks hotel next door. The only confusion was to find the hotel (no clear name seen from the road) and then you need to go/drive across the street to check in. Room furniture upholstery could be replaced.

Room was very clean and comfortable and indeed provided a very picturesque view of Mirror Lake as the name suggests. Very convenient access to all downtown Lake Placid attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

The Pine Inn is the historical hotel built in 1900s. The room are individually decorated by this family owned hotel located in downtown. With a great location, there is shopping, skiing and trails nearby. Free wireless Internet in the restaurant and lobby of the hotel.The Pines Inn is a non smoking hotel.No pets allowed.

The hotel is a well maintained old building, which we found charming, but don't expect the latest and greatest in amenities.
The location is a 2 min walk from the main street, but does not have a view of the lake.
Jill was very helpful and knowledgeable in guiding us on local tourist attractions.

This historic hotel is situated right in the center of Lake Placid village. The hotel right in the middle of the best shopping and dining Lake Placid has to offer. For the convenience of our guests the Northwoods Inn has an excellent three-meal restaurant with outdoor dining/ a game room/ and a spacious- comfortable lobby where guest can relax and socialize. The Northwoods Inn is an all suite property including extended stay suites with kitchenettes. Our lakeside rooms offer spectacular views of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack mountains. All other rooms have a balcony where guests can sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air of the Adirondack Mountains. All rooms are featured with air conditioning/ cable TV/ in-room phones/ and separate sitting areas.

The hotel is centrally located in Lake Placid and part of the reason we picked it is it's dog-friendly. It's mid-range for Lake Placid in price, not at the lowest level but not at the ultra-luxury level either. The bathrooms are contemporary, with huge showers. The rooms are fairly large, have been recently udpdated and most have beautiful views of mountains and Mirror lake. The beds are really comfortable and there's free wifi. The Dancing Bears restaurant is fine.

We were in town for the Ironman Lake Placid and the Lodge could not have been more accomodating to the athletes and their families. Shuttle rides continuously into town on the day of the race and a late night "Ironman Menu"
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Hotel price through Orbitz was probably reasonable considering the location close to main street. A 2-night visit doesn't give a lot of time to do things, but we had a good trip. The room was very "roomy" but had no coffee packets for the coffee pot - only sweetener, powdered creamer, and a stirer. No coffee could be found anywhere. And a big heater/A/C combination was covered with cobwebs through and through the vents in it. Not a pretty sight! The tub had dirty footprints (child's) in it. Otherwise, it was ok. I would stay there again but would make sure it had a better cleaning. But thanks, Orbitz, for getting me the place at almost the last minute and at a price I could afford.

The Mirror Lake Inn has a very friendly and accomodating staff that understand the importance of pleasing their guests. The hotel's location allows for easy walking to town and the Lake Placid marina. The overall facility is very clean and the decor is an elegant victorian style with beautiful fireplaces and wood paneling.

Description
Prague Motor Inn is a family operated Inn which started in 1956 by the Lejcek family. We cater to individuals, families and small groups and are located directly in the village of Lake Placid on Route 73 just over half a mile form the Olympic arena and speed skating oval. Most Olympic venues and other popular attractions are only minutes away. We are situated on 2 1/2 acres of land bordering on the Chubb River on one side and Route 73. During the warmer months we offer a picnic area with BBQ fire pit, which includes firewood for cookouts or just to sit around and relax and enjoy a fire outside under the White Pines.We offer comfortable up to date, quite rooms, cottages and spacious suites some with stone, wood burning fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, balconies and kitchenettes. We provide all linens, chambermaid service, firewood and our kitchenettes are fully furnished with refrigerators /freezers, electric ranges and ovens, microwave ovens, dinnerware, cookware, silverware, coffeemakers & toasters. All units are fully air-conditioned, have color cable TV, phones, alarm clocks, fridge/microwaves & self-control electric heat and we are pet friendly and our large open grounds offer ample space to exercise your pet. Description
Spruce Lodge was built in the early 1900s. We are guessing around 1910. It was purchased by my grandparents in 1949. My grandfather traveled a lot for his job and my grandmother stayed in Lake Placid and ran Spruce Lodge as a tourist home where breakfast was not an option. We have over an acre and a half of property which borders a large pond at the back of the property. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information. To contact the property, use the number on the reservation confirmation received after booking.
