One Night Vacation

My mother, sister, sis' boyfriend and I stayed in one of the smaller rooms of this hotel. For the price we payed it was rather nice. The room was really clean, great location, easy to find.
Personally I would recommend staying only a few nights at most, the rooms are pretty cramped, but when it comes to location of things about the area it's great. Close to the Amusement park (10 minute ride at most), not too far from town and the shoppes, and on top of that there are two pools, one inside (small) and one outside (rather large). The staff were nice and very helpful and give directions to rooms when you first walk in. Considering my mother is directionally challenged this was very helpful.
I would definitely stay there again if need be :)

Each year a friend and I get away for a weekend ... someplace a tank away. This year we decided on Lake George ... the hotel we booked was clean, convenient and offered quite a lot for our money. We would recommend it to all our friends.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed a bit further from the center of Lake George than we expected according to the hotel description so we ended up having to pay for parking and taking the car to dinner which we normally don't do. We like to stay at a hotel where we could walk to everything and not have to worry about driving. Since we have been to Lake George several times we knew exactly where to park for cheap. The next morning we were quickly on the road to Lake Placid and made great time.

After reading many other reviews of hotels in the Lake George area I decided on this hotel. It lived up to expectations. Very clean, large rooms and free breakfast. It was also located close to town. I stayed with my wife and young daughter. I had read that this hotel is family friendly and it lived up to the hype, lots of kids! Overall it was a positive experience, although the ac was a pain, it kept turning on and off throughout the day and night regardless of the temperature setting. Also, warning on the pools, both indoor and outdoor pools are very small and only reach depths of a whopping 4.5 feet.

Clean, comfortable, and no unpleasant surprises

Had a quick one night stay on Columbus day weekend. Checked in on Saturday afternoon. Front desk was courteous and efficient (I think it was the owner/operator). Room was clean, large and comfortable. Nice extras like HBO and many other cable channels, and a refrigerator. Everything worked. No leaks, smells etc. Quiet throughout the night. Other members of my group stayed at a resort down the street and complained of noise (drinking etc. ) well into the night. Checkout Sunday morning was quick and courteous (owner again). Good location. I really appreciated that there were no unpleasnt surprises. Although my stay was very brief and I was barely in the room, I would definitely stay there again.

We made last minute reservations as close to Lake George Village as possible, so we could walk to town... it's about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. It wasn't bad for the money...it was clean. Small, but clean. Parking was kind of tight for our Dodge Ram 1500 w/ 2 kayaks in the back...we hard to park out front as opposed to right next to our entrance door to our room.

My Fiance and I found that this hotel suited our needs for this holiday weekend. Since it is the holiday and last weekend of the summer, This hotel was the cheapest deal close to town so long as you booked early for 35% off.
The staff were all very friendly. With most of the staff being young (or young at heart) everyone did everything between housekeeping and the front desk.
The room did have a bit of that old musty room smell of it but only at first. The only down fall would be the pool being freezing cold and that the tv's were not updated. The absense of a fridge was not a problem for us since I read the reviews and brought a nice size cooler.
I did not notice any noise coming from other rooms. We were located across from the pool. Granted I think we were the loudest ones on saturday night 9-3 so I apologize for the noise if anyone reads this. No one complained so I guess that can attest to the sound proofing.
Oh, and the Breakfast was AWESOME! Loved the waffles :-D
