Decent hotel. Service was fine. On the smaller side. Overall--- it was fine. In chinatown part of Flushings. Lots of bars and places to eat (Chinese Food). Mall with Target, Best Buy, and applebees nearby. Macy's and metro line nearby as well.

This hotel was definitely a convenient stay for anyone who doesn't just lurk around the hotel all day long. It is only a short walk from the subway station and a just around the corner from a some delicious Chinese restaurants. It is convenient for flyers since it has its own airport shuttle. Our driver was courteous, helpful, and fun to converse with. The hotel itself has two entrances/exits, so it is easily accessible. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well.
The room is quite spacious and was enough room for my family of four (two adults and two kids -- 13 and 17). Great room, great location, great price. However, if you like a bit of night life, this probably is not the place for you. The outside may look a bit shabby, but one should remember that you should never judge a book by the cover !

This is a very standard hotel with the basics. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. It is not luxory nor is it a flophouse. It is a nice basic place to sleep.

good price; the shuttle bus to the subway station is very convenient, and could also pick up us when we come back and call the hotel in the station; friendly staff; free parking, although the parking place is not big. in general, not bad, I will choose it again in future.

Place to Stay at the Open

We picked the Lexington Marco because it was close to the Billie Jean King Tennis Center. Really did not do much more than sleep and eat breakfast there. We were planning to get our own transportation to the Open each day only to discover that there was a shuttle provided by the hotel! They picked us up after midnight with no fuss. On our last day we planned to take our bags over to the Open and then get a cab. Staff offered to keep our bags, and then meet us at the Open with them and take us to the airport. Eddie is a great guy!

Not a bad place to stay. Clean for the most part. Close to La Guardia airport so we got quite a bit of jet noise early in the morning. Beds were very clean and comfortable.

The room is tight as with any city budge hotel but it is very neat & clean. The hotel staff is helpful. The location is close to restaurants & shops on Flushing main st & subway. The only drawback is they don't let you check in till 3:00pm.

The hotel was good and cofortable but some of the guests make a noise inside their room but you hear that which make me very angry but that was just for one day but the remaining period was good.

Very spare and bare-bones

Typical YMCA. Reminds me of staying at a college dorm, but with higher turnover and more worn-out sheets. I'd suggest you bring your own amenities if you want to be more comfortable. However, I do appreciate the existence of such a lodging choice and hope that other travelers do their part in maintaining cleanliness and upkeep, so that we all benefit from this shared experience.

Great Hostel, don't expect it to be a hotel though

You have your own bedroom with small refridge and TV and a facet to wash your hands and face. The room is not very clean, especially the carpet. However, the bed and the refridge is clean and usable. And the bed seems to have an extra inside cover (I think to prevent bedbugs) so there is a less worry about getting bedbugs from some of the hostels around NYC.
You should share the common bathroom and a shower rooms, which is quite clean. Everyone in the same floor will be given a key to acess thos shared bathroom. So, this is not really an hotel. But as an hostel I think it is very nice place to stay.
Since it is close to Flushing Main street, which is the Flushing downtown, you have a lot of 24 hours grocery and fast food/coffee places. And, you can get variety of decent asian foods and yummies (such as bubble tea and others) at a low price. Subway 7 line is quite close, so easy to travel out to Manhattan.

Clean and affordable

I enjoyed the hotel for its affordability. However, it is not convenientely located. You need to take a shuttle bus which leaves every hour for the nearest subway station. Despite this the hotel is good, clean and I would recommend it for a budget-conscious traveler to NYC.

The hotel is clean, but the airport shuttle takes forever, because apparently there is only 1 vehicle to serve all the guest. Far from everywhere.
