I've stayed here before. That's why I went back. The staff is excellent and helpful in every way. The hotel gives you the feeling of 5 star. Rooms are very comfortable and amenities are great. My only issue this time is that the Bistro which served lite dinner along with the small lounge was not available. They will be undergoing a name change to Hyatt House and making renovations so I attributed this small inconvenience to that . Otherwise a great stay!

Obviously renovated rooms, a cut above the chain competition. Some minor improvements could still be made (for example still had an aged and imperfect toilet seat). Almost every area was impeccably decorated, more a resort feel than a rest stop for the night. But at the price you are getting a lot more than you bargained for.
Has REAL high speed internet, not just free wireless as most chains have.

I was pleased with this hotel-stayed here twice. The kitchen has plates,bowls,cups,cutlery,mugs,servers,and two pots. Everything was clean. Thermostat worked well, shower was always hot. It's perfect for the price.

Staff wonderful and quite helpful. When we found a defective remote in the room, the front desk lady (sorry, I can't remember her name) came up with 3 others and found us one that worked. Cheerful suggestions for dinner led us to a great place nearby to eat. We went hiking in the mountains along the Hudson, a 5 minute ride from the hotel. We will come back.

New people, Needs alittle updating

We are from Seattle and had no idea that we were so far from West Point our destination. The folks at the Ramada were so nice but the rooms and amenities were very outdated. The halls reeked of smoke but the rooms didn't.
Our room's shower didn't work but when I reported the next morning after a nice bath, the folks at the front desk compensated us with free dinner in the grill.
Breakfast was good. No lunch or bar available during the day. Grill/bar doesn't open until 5pm. So if you want luch you must drive somewhere else.
If you are traveling to West Point this hotel is kinda far but the staff is wonderful.

when ever we go away we stay at The Ramada. I was a little dissapointed that the tv was out dated I have an autisatic son and bought his dvd player so he could watch his dvd's and the tv did not have provisions :( we got in late from a family party and I knew it was too late to change tv or rooms as always the staff was great .we slept quietly and comfortly

Easy location to find and it is very convenient to surrounding attractions in all directions.
The hotel was well maintained and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was adequate - actually much better during the week than on the crowded weekend.

I was a vendor at the nearby Stormville Flea Market and arrived very tired to the hotel. I was checked in VERY promptly by a very friendly guy who was also back the next morning when I left. Very comfortable bed and room had everything you could want or need. Everything was in good working order and I would not hesitate to stay again.

I was visiting family for Mother's
Day and a birthday celebration. The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and the breakfast was fantastic. I could have asked for better for the price.

Our stay was comfortable, mostly due to the very comfortable beds and bedding. The hotel staff was friendly, and our 4 day stay was without incident. We skipped the breakfast after the first day, because we wanted fresh fruit, which wasn't available there. It was a little noisy because our room was directly above the lobby.
There was no option to keep towels and linens to save water - even when they were hung dry, the staff replaced them with new towels.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet had more than enough items to be considered above average ... eggs, sausage, waffles,danish, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, etc.etc. I think it would have been a better deal for about $25 - $30 less a night, but overall, not so bad. Would definitely stay there again.

Very convenient to Interstate 84 and surrounding attractions. Room was not fancy but clean and roomy. Great to have the fridge in the room and 24 hour access to hot beverages and fruit. I would stay there again.

I got this room for my daughters to stay for New YEars Eve. they were going to a local party. The hotel was clean, the staff courteous and prompt. They helped me find a local cab company and were cheerful. Overall a very good experience.

Very nice hotel with all the basic amenities. Good complementary breakfast, with coffee and tea available all daylong. Pool is not large, but enough to cool down. Very comfortable beds with several pillows to choose from. We had a large room which was very clean - overall a great, relaxing, quiet evening.
