We stayed at this hotel same weekend last year and will say there has been some slight improvement. This is a very basic hotel, fairly clean, polite staff but very few amenities, however I find it to be a very good value for the cost. I expect we will stay again next year.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Visiting family in DeWitt, near LeMoyne College, the new Holiday Inn Express was conveniently located and easy to find. A new hotel, it was clean and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and substantial. We were disappointed with the "fitness center" which consisted of two treadmills, one broken, and one stationary bike. The tiny room was so hot and the temperature-control buttons non-functioning. In addition, the water cooler in the room had no cups. Our room was tidy and spacious enough for a family of 4, though the beds were actually too soft and the ventilation system too loud. For the price, we got we expected.

Hotel is very clean and looks brand new. Staff are all pleasant and friendly, and the price is relatively cheap for the area. Located closer to Erie Blvd and the SU campus than many other, more expensive hotels in Syracuse. Would recommend to anyone.

The staff is very nice. I was traveling with elderly parents, and we needed an early check in.
No problem, and rooms convenient to the entrance.

We arrived at 11PM and found that we had to carry our luggage quite a distance from parking to to the elevator. The room and refrigerator were clean. However, the microwave was quite dirty. There were the usual amenities of soap and towels. However, wee were not given shampoo or hot cups for coffee. The receptionist was very pleasant. the location to the highway was good.

I stayed at the hotel while on business for our government. The people at the front desk were always very nice and helpful. I stayed in room 550, the carpet was very dirty with burn marks all around the living room area. The towel rack in the bathroom was hanging off the wall on one side. It was like that when I moved in and it was still that way when I left two days later. The cleaning people when I would ask for extra towel or what ever, they didn't speak any english. So if I needed something from them I'd have to call down to the front desk and they would have to find them and explained to them what I wanted. Come on now, can't you hire someone that can speak english???????????

We were in Syracuse to visit the university. The hotel staff was excellent - very friendly and they made good suggestions for restaurants. Theresa was particularly helpful.

I have stayed at the Syracuse-Carrier Circle Hampton Inn 2 out of 3 times when visiting Syracuse. The combination of easy access to major highways, 10 minutes to downtown and their hot breakfast buffet makes it a good value. Only downside was room 414's location directly across from the ice machine. Very noisey machine and users late at night.

I had a great time at Syracuse, NY and my hotel acommodations were great! The staff at The SpringHill Suites Carrier Circle was very friendly and accomodating. I traveled with my family including a handicapped adult. The hotel provides a fantastic breakfast every morning that includes a large variety of food even for the health concious.

we took a trip to syracuse for a graduation ceremony and decided to stay the night at this hotel. the price was dirt cheap, but so was the quality of the room. check in was really fast; however, the room was disgusting! there were stains everywhere (on the sheets, couch, and the towels)!! i had to use my jacket as a blanket and covered the pillows with my sweatshirt to avoid making direct contact with the bedspread. i should've stayed on the floor at the dorm!

Clean room in reasonably good repair (some cabinet doors in the kitchen could use tightening). Good bed equipped with three (mainly empty) pillows. Great water pressure in the shower.

college visit but my son ended up getting mad and staying and we don't know when he's coming home. This was all because our flight got cancelled for that particular day.
The hotel was fine except for the isolated location.

A good bargain

I have stayed at the Quality Inn several times. It is conveniently located, well maintained, and the free breakfast is quite good. You receive clean, well maintained rooms, and though not as new as other hotels, well worth the price. Several restaurants are located near by and access to the NY State Thruway is right around the corner.

The hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly, kids loved the pool - and the water was warm for it being an outdoor pool, felt great. We got an awesome pizza on the staff's recommendation from Nick's pizza on Thompson Road, my new favorite pizza place. The room was a bit small for a family & I was surprised for the price range that there weren't more channels on TV, but it was a good stay.

right off new york state thruaway at carrier circle...easy from interstate 81 & 481... in the heart of other hotels at twice the price...friendly staff ... really good restruants in close proximty..

I was looking for a place to stay that wasn't going to brake the bank. The place was clean and the staff friendly. You have to pay for anything other than the room but for $35 a night what more could you ask for. Motel 6 will be on the top of my list for a quick overnight stay the next time I need one. Thanks Motel 6.
