Great hotel in a great location.

  • Dec 28, 2012
What can I say about a 4+ star hotel that hasn't web said before? Everything was great. Comfy beds, fun casino with sociable and enjoyable dealers, an exciting in-house show with lots of delicious food and beverage options right in the hotel. My only gripe was that we seemed to get put in a room that was in need of work. The wallpapering and paint was damaged in several plainly visible locations, the bathroom needed some fresh caulking and paint/wallpaper. Carpet seemed like it was old, dated, and worn. To that end, my reservation had been upgraded from a Spa to a Diamond suite--but there is always a catch, I guess. Still, superficial issues aside, the room was pleasant enough. Especially the giant whirlpool tub, which was a great consolation prize!

Description
Dealertainers, divas and luaus define this worldly center-Strip classicLike a favorite uncle, The Quad is a reliable presence at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. With a slightly kitschy tribute to ancient Japan, The Quad offers a variety of entertainment, amenities and dining in a relatively compact space, and all without resort fees. Central to the casino floor are the famous "Dealertainer" celebrity card dealers. More entertainment includes Human Nature's Motown Tribute, Frank Marino's cross-dressing Divas, the acrobats of Japan's Matsuri and the world-class Auto Collections. Please be advised that this hotel will be under major renovations starting immediately and the projected completion date is sometime in late 2013. Effective immediately, vehicular access to The Quad from The Strip is permanently closed and all traffic must enter the property via the back entrance. Please also be advised that the main image that you see on our website is an artist rendering of the property when it is complete and not a true depiction of what the property looks like today. While we regret the inconvenience this may cause you, please know that Orbitz Worldwide and Caesars Entertainment takes a great deal of pride in your comfort and apologizes in advance for any disturbance this may cause you. Was not too happy that I had to park and walk about 10 minutes just to get inside the hotel due to hotel renovations. Check out was just slow serving a vast multitude of guest staying here. The room had only television for paying use (movies). May try again after all hotel upgrades have been done.

This hotel gets bad review from people because it is old and currently under renovation. But if you are the Vegas traveler that doesn't really mind if your room has basic amenities and sufficient cleanliness, you should consider this hotel. It is super close to everything, and just like most hotel is Vegas, the staff is nice and helpful. Their restaurant Hash House a GoGo is Amazing! And you must see their in house performer Jeff Civilico!

I was assigned a room in their annex (building 'B'). Although parking at the annex is better and closer to the rooms, the walls between the rooms are so thin and you would hear your neighbour and they would hear you too.

surprise fee at check out

  • kprs
  • Dec 21, 2012
was quoted a price for an additional day for the room as we were leaving late at night. I agreed to pay it. At check out we had to wait through a huge line with guests who were both checking in and out and was informed that there was an additional service fee that more than doubled the quoted price. The clerk was unable to resolve this issue and said someone would be in contact with me. I had to leave as this process took to much time and caused me to be late for my shuttle to the airport.

Great location, OK accomodations

  • Wartburg Dad
  • Dec 19, 2012
The Flamingo was the location for the event we traveled to Vegas for and the logical place to stay. The loacation and price can't be beat. Right in the middle of the strip, where everything is w/in a reasonable walk. The food was pricey but then, it is every where unless you are a whale and have comps coming out your ears. Wasn't overly impressed w/ the Buffett but the Breeze cafe was a great place for a sit down breakfast. The coffee shop across from spa was a great palce for a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches were awesome. The rooms where clean but could use some updating, as could the entire hotel. It certainly has seen better days. If you are looking for a place to stay, great price in a good locaiton - then this is the place for you. If you want to have glitz and glam - you certainly can pay for it. We took in the Mobster "museum" / show at the Tropicana. If you are a history buff and want to know how Vegas started, this is a must and worth the $30. The show is well put together and with the interaction with Big Tony and his crew of actors - it was a fun experience.

I was in the hotel for two nights. I cannot complain about the stay at all. I received credit on top of my bill to spend it in the hotel. Also free upgrade to deluxe class. Rooms are spacious, but you can feel that it is older kind of place. Not flat screen TV, shower nothing special - not really good for bath. The hallways and elevators were a bit dirty/weard off... well it is old hotel. But the location is excellent with cheap bars and restaurant in the casino level. Would stay again for the price I paid. We went to the shows, had dinner in the Paris which is connected to Bally's and sit in the bar. parking is good, a lot of space, but a bit far ... takes two rides with elevators and walk maybe a mile inside of the hotel to get from the car garage to the room. However, I would recommend it to anyone who is on budget and wants to be in the middle of the Vegas to have everything around.

I've been to Vegas several times and I've stayed at several hotels on the strip over the years. Bally's is great for the location and the price. It's in a central location for sightseeing, shows, and good restaurants. Paris is connected to Bally's so you get two hotels in one as far as casinos and restaurants. The steakhouse is good and the cafe for breakfast.

I feel that she needs to listen to the customer needs before she jump to a conclusion. I was very dissapointed with her customer service toward me, and got the impresion that hispanic people is not very welcome by her. Overrall, she spoiled my show, I didn't enjoy it after all!!!

Great Hotel but staff at ticket window for show very grumpy

  • Wine Guys
  • Dec 30, 2012
Hotel was great in amenities, receptionist was excellent at arrival, but the people at the ticket offic for the show were extreamly grumpy and didnt care even though I was very cordial to them. The only other issue was that the maid came to clean the room at 8:55 so be sure to leave the do not disturb sign out. The tower resteraunt was wonderful but we left a suggestion that they consider stocking Malbec vintages with our server Michelle.

Hotel abseits vom Strip

  • Dec 22, 2012

Arrival was mid afternoon vegas time, and check in was long, check in is not permitted before 4pm unless pre arranged so there was a lot of people waiting to be checked in and only three or four staff on the desk. The room was comfortable and had everything needed and the water was always hot 24/7 there was a room safe which is always handy and is not always available at other hotels on the strip. i only had two gripes about the room one was no biggie but with two of us staying in the room the storage for clothes and other personal belongings was very limited, and we could not fully unpack. The other was a little bit more annoying, even though the staff respecfully acknowledged the do not disturb sign that we would leave on the door if we did not want the room serviced, when we did allow acces to the room the service could have been better, the main problem being that we stayed there for 9 nights and the bed was made but the linen was not changed for the whole duration! overall the hotel was great and the location was superb, would stay here again, especially at the great prices being offered.

Awesome Christmas Getway

  • Nerdy Chemist
  • Dec 28, 2012
When my girlfriend and I were booking our hotel for the Vegas trip, we had three choices in mind: Aria, Bellagio and Wynn. We selected Aria because we got a very good deal. It turned out to be a huge success. Aria is located at the center of the strip, so all the major attraction places are all within walking distance. Hotel staff were super friendly. The room was spacious and modern, and we loved the bathroom so much. As for restaurants, we had a very good experience at Sage and the Lemon Grass, but were really disappointed by the tapas place. As a person from Chicago, I can think of four or five different tapas places that offer much better food at one third of the price.

Aria is Amazing

  • Anonymous
  • Dec 4, 2012
This was my first time staying at Aria. The hotel is beautiful. The room was really nice. However, I do NOT understand why a hotel that is this absolutely incredible would allow smoking?? It is disgusting. I have a high tolerance for pain and environments and i was sick and coughing most of my stay. if nothing else, what about the employees that work in this environment daily?? Aria would be as close to perfect as possible if there was no smoking inside.

Our stay in the Bellagio was a fantastic experience, from arriving at the hotel to leaving was 5* Everyone was polite and couldn’t do enough to make are stay perfect. We were up graded and had a Lake view which was amazing to see the fountain show’s with the music piped into our rooms it was beautiful. The room was large, very comfortable bed. The maids came in twice a day and were so friendly. Our beds were turned back every night and chocolates left. We had clean towels every day. The bathroom was very large double sinks, double shower and nice deep bath. The location was great, all the restaurants in the hotel were 5* the only thing we were not keen on was the amount of people walking through the hotel, but this is part of the Las Vegas holiday which we were not use to. The pools were excellent, small ones were closed, I went for a swim in the outside pool which was very big, temperature in the pool was 85 degrees and the pool Jacuzzi was even warmer. The gym had all amenities and staff very helpful. Overall experience was amazing
