- Dec 22, 2012

I was impressed with Trump the minute we drove up. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our stay wasn't perfect as we had a maintenance issue in our room that was never really resolved, but staff and management went out of their way to make us happy and get the issues resolved. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice non-gaming place to stay with a good location right across the street from the Fashion Show Mall.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star on location is that it's a little north of the center of the strip and a small hike to get there. Trump does provide shuttles all day to the Wynn and shops at Ceasar's, but we never used them.
We also had a slight room issue with cleanliness that prevents me from giving a 5 star. But everyone was very helpful and expedient in resolving the issue.

- Dec 16, 2012
I always stay at the Orleans because it is convenient to my family whom I visit every year. Much less traffic because it's off the Strip. Very friendly staff and casual restaurants, as well as fancy ones with excellent food and value. I am amazed at how inexpensively I can stay here! Great casino where I can play tables for $5 minimum or poker slots for as little as a nickel. Love the atmosphere here too. I will return.

Staff were friendly, room was clean. I enjoyed that I could just park and walk into the room. Free breakfast was good but did not include coffee. They give you coupons for free coffee in the gift shop and you could get the coffee there and bring it with you into Denny's this will save you $4 and change. Over all it was very good for our needs and will go there again.

Beautiful hotel, but I a few things didn't work properly. My phone, no menu for in room for room service and when they brought the menu it was dirty and several of the prices were not elgible to see. Water would not drain while taking a shower. You have to ask front desk for pass code to get the free internet. It is not volunteered to you.
Overall, the room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly.

The lady receptionist was not at all friendly or at least smiling. First room given has a clogged up toilet. Phone not working. Second room has some problem with the heater. It was January and it is a must. Maintenance was too slow so I did find my way to make it work. Also phone again was not working so that I have to go down again to the clerk thru a small and slow moving elevator. Parking is all valet but quick. One has to pass by a club lobby to get to your room. Location is okay. Other staff members are okay.

Room and public areas were spotless! excellent cleaning crew. Nothing out of place and all systems, showers, toilets, sinks, etc in good working condition. Public areas had easy access from the room and the extra amenities provided in the rooms were a nice touch. The only problem is the graveyard clerk was not as attentive or aware of his job. At one point he opened the front area to 2 women (this is an all male resort) and it was possible anyone could have been there with out a proper amount of clothing to be seen. He was not sure of what he had be the way of supplies and at one point he was not able to work the mechanics of opening the door. however, he would be great if more training were offered or if he really wanted to work there.

If you stay at the Blue Moon don't expect luxury, this is a plain, very clean, quiet, and comfortablle hotel. Even though it is off the beaten track, and probably not the most attractive neighborhood I felt secure, and had no worries about leaving my car in the parking lot. The staff is outstanding and ready to offer directions, recommendations, and advice. These things are appreciated by travelers like me who are not familiar with the area.
There is no restaurant or bar at the Blue Moon, and getting something to eat involves travel to a more populace area. There is however, a couple of "order in" places. The staff will give you the menus. I tried Sophia's and found it delicious and reasonably priced. One thing I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room. Coffee first thing in the morning is a must for me. The hotel does offer a comp Continental Breakfast from 7 - 11 and I took advantage of that. Again simple but adequate for one's morning fuel supply. All in all I would stay again and recommend the Blue Moon to my friends

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXCUSE FOR A "HOTEL" I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MORE THAN 42 YEARS OF TRAVELING. RUN BY CIRCUS PEOPLE THAT ARE RESIDENTS OF THIS "HOTEL". I REALLY HAVE NOT ONE NICE THING TO SAY EXCEPT IT WAS GREAT GETTING HOME TO CLEAN SHEETS, CLEAN PILLOWS, CLEAN BATHROOM WITH WATER THAT DOES NOT LEAK 24-7. NO POOL. NO BLANKETS. NO TISSUE. BUT IF YOU DON`T DISPLAY THE PARKING SLIP THEY DO HAVE A GREAT TOWING SERVICE. THEY WILL COME IMMEDIATELY AND TOW YOUR CAR EVEN THOUGH THE PARKING LOT HAS THREE CARS IN IT. THIS IS JUST ONE BIG RIP OFF. I AM BEGGING ANYONE THAT IS EVENING THINKING OF STAYING HERE, don`t do it, don`t do it don`t do it.

This hotel is very dirty. Floors are unswept, carpet is stained and not vaccuumed, finger prints are all over the windows and counters, leaky faucets in bathroom, drapes that are falling down, no outlets in the room except for the bathroom, hair dryer that smokes and spits out sparks, wallpaper that coming off the walls, horrible smell in the room, outdated air conditioner, etc. You can take a shower but you will still feel dirty. The clients that stay here look like drug addicts. Don't ruin your trip by staying here-it isn't worth it. I've stayed at hostels and trucker hotels for less than $20 a night that were cleaner than this.

I consider quality inn a very average hotel. There are no slot machines, no poker tables found here. But that is what I liked about this hotel. I wanted a peaceful, quiet and normal hotel where I can sleep and get some rest. The weight room needs improvement. The weight room is lacking bar bells and kettle balls. Overall, if you want a hotel without the glitz and glamour of las vegas, this is the hotel for you.

I completed some training and the price for this hotel was good. It was quick and easy to get in and out of versus one of the major hotels. The area was a little seedy. Not where I would want to eat dinner but the rooms were clean and comfortable. We did hear police sirens serveral times during the night. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to enjoy.

We had a wonderful experience with the hotel/resort.
The swimming pools were clean and well maintained. Loved the waterfall. The staff was friendly and helped us with all our needs. Our freezer had problems with the ice maker and within minutes of calling the front desk we had a maintenance man (with a bag of ice) at our door. Everything in the hotel was just perfect. Loved having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Only downfall was the location. Wished we were closer to the strip. But for the comfort, service and price we couldn't have asked for more. We would stay again!

The service was great. The few things that were wrong in the room (plumbing leak under sink & TV remote not working) were quickly fixed. The cookware in the kitchen was very limited--no pots/pans & only 2 each of silverware, plates, etc. Overall..it was fairly quiet & I'd stay there again.

I've stayed in most of the large resorts on the Strip and was surprised that this Holiday Inn was much better than many of them. Clean rooms in good condition. Desk staff was polite and helpful. They served a complimentary breakfast the next day-- a real breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, the works, and not some cartons of juice and a box of bagels. It's not on the Strip. It's on the NW side of I-15. Very close to the Strip but away from the crowds when you're ready to sleep.

When combining business with pleasure, this was a great option. Other than a pushy salesman trying to sell me a time share, this was a great place for relaxing, getting business done and experiencing a little of the strip. Prefer to not eat out alone, so was able to grocery shop nearby and prepare my own meals in the kitchen of the suite. Internet access was extra, but came in handy for downloading movies (as there was no cable). The premises is lovely with walkways, streams, exotic plants and even a little putting green! Built-in propane grills are scattered around and guests made full use of these! Though check-out was at 10am, the staff encouraged us to stay and use the outdoor facilities to keep cool! Would recommend this heartily to families as well as business travelers.

Positives: Nice room, with separate bedroom and living room with sofabed. Very clean. Includes refrigerator, stove, dishwasher. Quiet complex. Close to very good restaurants (Archi's Thai, Viva Mercado, etc) and fast food.
Negatives: Actually a timeshare so "full service cleaning," which is changing the sheets/linens, making the bed (typical hotel cleaning) is only done at a surcharge of $35. No real room service, but there is a convenient delivery menu in the room.

We were in Vegas for our Son's wedding at the Mandalay Bay. I was afraid we would be spending all our money on taxi's because although it looked close you couldn't walk from the Fairfield to Mandalay. The Shuttle service was awesome, even taking us to Town Square Mall the last night we were there. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, pool was never closed. The desk clerks couldn't have been nicer and accomodating. I would definitely go back.

We arrived in Vegas at midnight and were pleased to find that the Fairfield was close to the airport, had a comfortable bed, and hot waffles in the morning.
