The hotel is new so everything is still in great condition. The staffs are very helful and friendly. My kid spilled his drink and the staff came over and clean it up right away. The breakfast has quite a bit of selections. You won't be disappointed when you stay here.

The hotel is new, so everything was new. Pool area was good. Receptionist was helpful. However, even with the new hotel, the bath tub was not clean. The breakfast was average, nothing great.
I had one big disappointment with this hotel: I have stayed at many hotels but, for the first time, the receptionist called me that the people below us complained about the noise. Our TV was off, nobody was talking, and we were just unpacking. I do not know how did we generate the noise. It means that the walls are paper thin and the floor is also not thick. So, few years down the line, I am not sure how will they manage.
Other hotels in this area do not have good reviews, so we chose this one. This is an expensive hotel. For the price, I am not sure if I will ever stay again here. Other hotels in the area are not too bad but are much cheaper than this one.
I would recommend this hotel for few more years till it is still new and if you are willing to pay big bucks. In all other cases, I will not recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't know that the world gymnastic tournament was going on in the room above us. It was so noisy we couldn't sleep and the kids in the room above us kept it untill about two in the morning. When my wife called the front desk to complain they said they would take care of it but they didn't.

This hotel is not very handicapped accessible. I requested a handicapped room and was assigned a room on the second floor with no elevator.

You do get what you pay for, this is a no frills motel... but it was tidy with nice clean sheets. Very nice staff, extremely easy drive to Carlsbad Caverns (why I went to NM). I was traveling by myself so it worked out perfect for me, just needed a clean bed to sleep on, and that's what I got.

I recently stayed in the Carlsbad Motel 6 the evening before a visit to the caverns. The location, and Carlsbad in general, seemed safe and the hotel was just what I needed. Clean, good tv and fridge/microwave. Bathroom was clean and the door locked and worked well. Heater also worked well on a chilly evening. Location was just OK; not super close to the "downtown" food area like most hotels, but not too far from the caverns. I would recommend this.

Parking on the north side was too small for crew cab dually that I drive. I had to backup and then pull up and then back again to get out. I didn't want to park on the other side and walk that far, plus climbing the stairs, to get to my room, plus not being able to look out the window and do a visual check of my truck.

The hotel was decent, the staff friendly. It was certainly not a five star hotel but i would recommend it to a friend and I would stay there again. There were not many restaurants but plenty of fast food.

All "normal" rooms are on the second floor. There is no elevator!! What happended to ADA? I got the last first level room as they reluctantly gave it to me. "Nearby" means another 45 minute drive to Carlsbad Caverns. There is NOTHING nearby.,

Be sure to stay close to the office, as the wireless internet signal is not very strong. I was advised that that would be upgraded soon. The hotel is in the process of redecorating and doing a very nice job.

THE LADY CHECKING ME IN DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH VERY GOOD. SO THERE WAS COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. THEN DURING THE NIGHT I HAD WORK TO DO AND THE WI-FI KEPT KICKING ME OFF. WORK i HAD TO DO SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 10M MINUTES BUT I KEPT FIGHTING WITH IFTFOR OVER 2 HOURS. FINALLY GAVE UP, RETRIED IN THE MORNING THEN IT SEEMED TO WORK BETTER. BUT IF YOU ARE LAYING OVER FOR BUSINESS AND THE WIFI IS NOT DEPENDABLE THEN THIS IS A BAD PLACE TO STAY. WHERE DOES CONTINENTIAL BREAKFAST COME FROM. THERE SHOULD BE SET STANDARDS WHEN THEY ADVERTISE THEIR BREAKFAST. ALL THERE WAS IS COFFEE AND COLD CEREAL. I LEFT AND WENT TO IHOP.
FOR SECURTY THE DOORS INSIDE LOCK WAS BROKEN SO I DIDNOT FILL SECURE SINCE I HAD NO WAY OF LOCKING DOOR FROM INSIDE. I WILL PROBABLY NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
