Put in a smoking room when I had requested non-smoking and was too tired to change. Wireless internet was weak and intermittent. Put in a room next to the road even though the hotel was far from full. Sad workout room with broken equipment. Two lotions and no shampoo. This hotel is nice enough, but they lost it in the details.

The room was adequate, but would recommend staying in Ruidoso, NM if possible. Stayed in Alamagordo because of lack of rooms in Cloudcroft, not realizing Ruidoso would have been much more convenient. Would not recommend using Orbitz, since motel price direct would have been 20% less - plus I don't know who Orbitz pays the taxes and fees to that the hotel did not collect.

We had choosen another hotel in town but read their reviews and decided to look at this hotel. Reveiws were very good so we switched. Wow glad we did. It was a very good stay for the price. Room was very clean and smelled good. Ac worked great. Rooms not overly big but ok. Went to the apple fest just 10 miles away. Will stay there again next time thru.

Visited White Sands National Monument and Space Museum in Alamogordo. Hotel convenient and price comparable to others in area. Room linens were fairly new and staff was really nice. Located near a restaurant and across from a small shopping mall.

We asked a non-smoking room but they gave us a room with strange smell. What's worse is there were no towels in the room so I had to go to front desk to ask for the towels.

The hotel staff was great. My fiance and I went for private time alone. While there, I got a severe migraine and could not travel back on our return date. We were allowed to check back in without a problem. I was almost in need of a hospital. The lady at front desk offered to come up should we need to go, and give us directions. We were not bothered and the room was very nice and clean. A perk would have been a jacuzzi tub ;). Thank you Holiday Inn!!

Room was dirty, sheets on one of the beds' were dirty. Sink and shower didn't drain properly (yuk when taking a shower), toilets very very low to the ground, and breakfast provisions and coffee were horrible.
