the staff was very nice and caring, the beds were comfortable and clean, and the pool, although small was well maintained. location was great, just 2 short blocks from the boardwalk and beach.
but the room was in some need of TLC. the bathroom tiles were stained and broken, there was no plug in the tub so a small child couldnt talke a bath, the carpet had an iron burn in it. there were only 3 outlets in the whole room.
even with these flaws it suited our needs and we enjoyed ourselves. OH and there is no elevator.

We booked this hotel spur of the moment.. It was Labor Day weekend Sunday night into Monday. The Hotel wasdirty...Behind the Beds and Behind the Bathroom door were piles of dirt. The cost of the room compared to what you got for the night was terrible. Bottom Line I would never stay here again and I would never go to Seaside Heights again. The only good thing at Seaside Heights is the state Park at the end of the Island. Thanks but no Thanks....Run Away from Seaside Heights...Run very far away....

For the price paid, this by far was the worse hotel I have stayed in. The bathroom was nasty. TV was a little flat screen mounted high on the wall, hard to see. Lots of Loud partying during the night. No phone in the room to call and complain. The only good things were the location 1-1/2 blocks from the Boardwalk and it appeared to have a relatively new AC unit. Very disappointed in Orbitz 3-star rating for a VERY low-rate hotel.
Last but not least, they personally checked our room before we could "check-out." How rude.

This motel, now Cloud 9 Inn, is located adjacent to the night club Karma. This may appeal to younger beach goers, but if you think you will be bothered by club music until 3 am, then choose another location. The owner was very nice, and made sure to tell us how hard he works at the motel. This seemed odd as our room did not have an operation dead bolt or chain lock. The room was acceptably clean for the amount of time we spent there, and the ac worked nicely. From this location we could walk directly to the beach and the restaurants near by, and know our car was parked safely.

Sand Caslte in Seaside Heights NJ was not the cleanest place I've stayed. The bathroom needed a good cleaning and the toilet leaked all over the floor. I had to put the garbage can under it to keep the floor dry. I'm sure this would be an okay place for a bunch of kids to party, but as far a place for families with small children I would not recommend it. The only good thing about it was the location.

No remote for TV, and very small, almost a closet. Bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways to pee so my knees wouldn't touch the wall, lol. But overall not too, too shabby.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The pictures on the web site are not what the rooms looked like at all! There was blood stains on the towels and dried blood on the mirrors, some kind of hair on the floor everywhere, it smelled awful. I was there with my two daughter and did not look at the reviews before booking a room at the Village Inn and when I saw the reviews when I got home it makes me sick to my stomach to know that we were around drug dealers and a predator. Hopefully Cheap Tickets will remove this hotel from their web site and I will always be looking at reviews before I book another room anywhere!!!!!

The check-in and check-out times were different then on this website. check-in was at 2pm and checkout was at 10am. The room had dirty towels, old cigarettes, and old toothpaste still in it. It smelled of alcohol and smoke. It was disgusting. They also charged my a different price then what i was told over the phone when i was already there,.

The sheets were clean, but everything looked as if it was going to fall apart. There was a gaping hole in the ceiling over the bathtub, and there was not enough place to dry towels and clothes (since this hotel is in a beach town). Shaving was difficult and the mirrors were placed in the most absurd places.

Worst hotel I have ever seen. It looked like something from a 3rd world country. The room was just big enough for a bed, there were bugs crawling around the floors, burn holes in the bed, wholes in the walls, feces stains in the toilet. When I confronted the man at the desk he showed me other rooms that were no better than the first. I told him I wanted my money back and he said he couldn't do anything about it. [...] I am reported this hotel to better business bureau and the board of health.

I made reservations for 3 people and when we got there the hotel kept telling us that the room was only reserved for 2 people and tried to make us pay extra even thought I previously paid for 3 people. We had to spend an hour of our vacation talking on the phone with people who could hardly speak English, because they couldn't get it right the first time.

Not a bad place to stay. I got charged extra for the children when I got there. At the time of reservation there was no place to indicate to them that I was traveling with children. The Bathroom is a bit to small. But otherwise is near everything and walking distance to entertainments.

The only problem was the rain! We arrived late because there was no hurry. We didn't need to get to the beach in the pouring rain. [...] checked me in and just as I was about to get to our room he suggested that we could have a single king sized bed instead of 2 doubles and boy did that make my day! There was no choice during the online reservation process the lack of which made me think we missed it so we started it over again. His offering of the king sized mattress was exactly the thing I needed to turn around our day. [...] topped himself later with the suggestion of the "Crab Claw's Inn" as a good place for seafood. The Anchor Motel is only 2 blocks from Seaside Heights' Casino Pier, 1 block from a 7/11 and right next store to the police headquarters (parking lot adjacent). Checkout was at 10 but they let us keep our car in the lot and our doggie bags from the Crab Claw in their fridge, till 3. It was thunder and lightening when we arrived the day before but absolutely gorgeous when we were to leave so by letting us keep our car & food there those 5 extra hours we got to enjoy (salvage) one day at the beach! No shower and the bathtub did not have a spout. There were nats near the bathroom sink. The mattresses looked like they were at least 20 years old. Three hundred and twenty dollars was way to much for this flea bag spot.

Upon arriving to Sky Manor, the business office informed us we will be staying at an offshore motel down the street. When we entered our room, we were completely surprised. NOT in pleasant way. Our room did not have towels at all. Because of the appearance of the room, we assumed towels was not included. The TV was dirty, it had stains on it. Needless to say we did NOT use the TV all weekend. All of the wall outlets were not stable enough to use. Because of that to use the A/C was difficult. Shower curtains were not clean. We had to request clean bed sheets. Original sheets had cigarette stains and other stains we do not want to assume what it was. The pool area and surrounding of the motel were filthy. However if you're part of the crowd (high school seniors and college undergrads) you might not mind. Me and my friends are working professionals in our late 20s. The best part of the hotel was customer service. Friendly customer service.
