Newark - NYC fall experience

Hotel service was average, rooms were ok and had lots of space, but smelled like cigarrete, even being non-smoking. When we got to the hotel, our room wasn't clean and set, but we promptly got moved to another room. Hotel staff was pretty helpful and kind. Shuttles to Newark airport were working well and on time.

The Hotel was actually pretty nice,although there was no coffee pot,refrigerator,or microwave in the room.The hotel was nicely maintained but friendliness could be improved upon.The main problem was the shuttle service.The hotel operated 3 shuttles but only one out of the three ran at one time which made a wait time of sometimes 40 minutes or more to get to the airport.The food was really good in the restaurant,but another negative is the many many menus stuffed under your door everyday from all of the local restaurants.

I stayed here to celebrate new years in time square. The drive over was roughly 15 minutes (knowing where exactly to go to dodge mahattan traffic).

Small rooms, clean rooms, excellant staff, amenities were all there but not top notch. The HVAC unit was so noisey I decided it better to be cold than to listen to it. So noisey it interrupted my sleep, and usually I can sleep through just about anything. I would probably look for another hotel for the money next time, but this was my first visit to NYC and I kind of got into a compfort zone. For the first night's stay, perfect, after that I think there's better value to be had.

If going into NYC, it isn't bad. Take the shuttle to the transit center and ride the train into the city for about $24 round trip.

Perfect business accommodations

Everything was satisfactory except that the walls (in my room, at least) were quite thin. The woman in the room next door had a half-hour phone conversation, and spoke at a normal volume, and I heard every word in my room--and I had the TV on. Fortunately there was no noise during the night. And the bed was exceptionally comfy.

Stayed here on layover and was very tired. It was a 5 minutes ride from terminal B. Shuttle driver was very pleasant and had bottled water for us. Had a fine meal in the bar with very good service. Proceeded back to the room, which was very clean and comfortable. Check out is at 1200 noon - and I needed every minute as I was in need of an extra hour or two of sleep.
Next time I am back in Newark, I will be back.
