Clean, friendly staff, small rooms. Just stayed 1 night so nit was good enough. Nothing major. When I went to check in I was offered a room with a King sized bed over my Queen bed & a Jacuzzi for only $5. So I obviously took it. Not much of a difference but still a good deal.

Stayed one night to see a show in Atlantic City. This is a basic hotel, with no real surprises. It was clean and comfortable. There were some minor difficulties in communicating with front desk staff: they were pleasant, but not completely fluent in English. Toilet paper holder came off the wall. It's a little tricky to get to the right side of the road to head to Atlantic City, but other than that, it was fine.

Not bad for the price

Stayed here on a Saturday night to go clubbing in Atlantic City. The room was fairly clean with a slight smell (probably because it was a smoking room). If you are planning to drive into Atlantic City, it takes about 10 minutes from Knights Inn, but if you are thinking of taking the cab, it's about $25 one way. Overall, it was a good stay.

I had confirmation for a non-smoking king size bed room. But they did not have it. and instead we had to settle for a double queen bed room.
They claimed it was a non-smoking room. But when we entered it felt as if someone had smoked earlier, since the smoke detector had been removed and the room was heavily sprayed with room fresheners.
One of the window blinds was broken, and unless you arranged the blinds by hand the inside of room was visible from outside.
There was not even a do-not-disturb sign.
Its less of a hotel and more of a motel.
If you need privacy then avoid it.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly - they did not berate us when we were late for check out, as other hotel staff elsewhere have - and the room was clean. Price was exponentially increased because it was New Year's Eve, but I think we got what we paid for. Helpful hint - be sure to indicate the exact number of people who are staying in the room! Was charged an extra $40 because the number was incorrect.

Hotel is in perfect location to the expressway and parkway. Minutes from Atlantic City and Historic Smithville. The bed was comfortable and the room had quiet and adjustable heat/air. The bathroom was sparkling clean but noisy fan. The carpet was stained throughout but everything smelled fresh and clean. Small frig in room, coffee maker and nice flat screen TV. Free breakfast not bad at all!

I have stayed at other hotels in the past and have found that Holiday Inn Express is right at the top! You can't beat the high level of cleanliness, comfort and staff attentiveness !!! The location was very close to Atlantic City, without the hustle and bustle. The free breakfast was good, I just wish they provide more options. Great time, and great place!!! Would definitely stay again.

i was really not satisfied with the hotel even though the staff were nice but the hotel was a disappointment i expected better than that for that amount,i booked for a non smoking room but there was no difference in both rooms were all smelly and the blankets were old and the sheets not cleane. the location though not far from the main place its not worth it if u are not driving u could only go by cabs which at the end your aim for savings was defeated,however breakfast was served as promised

Nice Bed. Room was clean but incredibly small. Looked very deceiving from the pics online. Okay for an overnight, but not a longer vacation. You'll feel claustrophobic! Did have a mini fridge and microwave.

When we got there, one of our rooms had a broken A/C unit. They promptly replaced it with another unit. The price was the cheapest in the area, I would suggest splurging a little to go to a nicer hotel. There was nothing horribly wrong with the rooms in general, but you can tell that they were skimping to keep the price down.

The rooms are dirty, hair dryers are broke, tv was messed up so they changed our room and the bed was like sleeping on the table! ice machine,soda machine and toilet seat all broke. There was a dog that barked all night long and if we left our key didn't work to get back in room(6 times at least) Ridiculous excuse for a hotel!

I went to a comedy show and the Imax theatre and it wasnt far from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very curtiuos and freindly. The only thing that I did not like was that the heating system was not working too good. It was either really hot or really cold. Other than that it was a plesant stay.

The hotel was very dirty. The bathroom did not have clean towel. The bath tub was a mess. I didn't enjoy my stay at all.

I set up this trip for my boyfriend's 55th birthday.
The room was small, there wasno cable tv. I had booked aroom with a jacuzzi, they had none when i got there. Our electric had went out. Went to call them on the phone and the phone did not work. Had to go to the office and report it. Room was dirty, had no toliet paper. Spent the first hour of the vist just trying to get towels & toliet paper. You showed the room on the internet, well thats not how the rooms look. The room was not worth my 84.00 dollars.
If my money was not on my credit card we would of left. But it is hard to get a rienbursement. Thank god it was only for one night. I really wish I could get a refund. You asked and here are my comments. Oh and my boyfriend reminded me about the big gap under the door where the cold air was coming in, which was about 2 foot from the bed. He was upset that i spent my money on this because he was not content at all.
He spent his birthday all night flicking thru the 7 stations that were avilable on the tv. Happy birthday to him................................................

I went to AC for a night. When i arrived at the room it was ok. The ac worked (which was good). If you dont plan to spend a lot of time in the room, like i did, this is perfect. If your looking for your 3-5 star hotel this isn't it. but overall, i had an ok stay and encountered no problems. Everything was as advertised so to speak

It was nothing special. A good place to lay down after a long day. The bathroom could have been cleaner, there were used soaps in the shower.
