Fantastic Quiet Getaway

This is a fantastic place to go and unwind. The entire staff was accomodating and friendly. The view from the dining room as well as the tavern is magnificent. I was just far enough away from town to feel like I was in the country, but it was only a couple miles when I wanted to hit the outlets and shops.

Red Jacket always offer kids activities aside from indoor pool and the staff is very friendly and they genuinely are in tune with families with kids. Love their kid's menu, don't know if new but noticed it this time. Good times. Please put flat screen in rooms. Big ones! and the hallways need remodel. Rooms are upgraded and nice!

Overall it was very pleasant. Rooms were spacious. bathroom was a bit tight but I'm not living there. Seemed nice and clean. Great location near the attractions and shopping.
This was a stopover from doing the Santa's village/Storyland mini vacation.

We found the room to be spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgable about the area. While there we did some pre Xmass shopping, took in a movie and went out to eat at the local restaurants.
It would be nice if the rooms were fitted with larger TV's, our's was a 19" and with the large room it was a little difficult to see. Also the continental Breakfast was just average, and very limited.

Excellent weekend getaway. Outlet shopping all around. Plenty of places to eat or we could have cook right in our suite 2 burner stove top. Full size frig. We had everything you need for a extended stay. Nice comfy bed. We are planning a return trip. To enjoy all the area has to offer. Hiking, horseback riding, shopping and Mt. Washington. They also are pet friendly. Yeah!

This is our second year staying at Foxridge and we have had great experiences both times. This year we stayed in a loft room, was great for three adults and three young children, plenty of room. Used both pools, the mini golf, the game room and the playground. Short distance from Storyland and many family friendly restaurants. Great views of the mountains. They seem to be doing some updating around the hotel which looks great. Very manicured grounds. Will go back!!!!

Very comfortable and clean hotel with attentive staff. The location is great because it is adjacent to the Outlets, near many restaurants, CVS, Wal-Mart, etc. Awesome pools: one inside with a large hot tub, and another pool and an even larger hot tub outside. There's also a great zero-entry pool outside for kids. The water is warm and the swimming areas were very clean. The buffet breakfast was good, although a bit chaotic with the crowds, but that's to be expected and the wait staff handled the crowds well. The movie theater was nicely set up, although one day the Blu-Ray player didn't work so there were no movies. The ice cream social is fun, too. The only small disappointment is that the kids "games" was merely a room with some board games set up and no staff, although this didn't bother my kids. The front desk has a large selection of DVDs to borrow and play in the rooms, where DVDs are standard. Rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. The room was a bit noisy at night due to hallway noise, but this is a hotel for families with young kids, so I'd expect some noise. The wireless internet worked only intermittently, but the front desk staff compensated me for my troubles. This was my second visit and I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Let's do the time warp again!

We were taking a vacation to North Conway to do some hiking and other outdoors activities. We wanted a hotel that wouldn't break the bank, but would have a comfortable room and a hot tub for our sore legs once we arrived back for the night. We arrived to check in after a long day of hiking, where the last portion of our hike was experienced in complete down pour. The receptionist looked us over like we were wet dogs that did not belong in her hotel, and as we gave our name with smiles on our faces she promptly told us that we did not have a reservation and perhaps we booked a stay at another hotel. We left, still wet and displeased to get internet access and check the reservation once more. We returned with proof that it was the correct location, but apologies were few. She gave us our room keys and we headed out from the lobby. While the outside of the hotel looks rather nice and updated, the inside seems as though it may have been nice in the 1980's but has not received any updating since. The room and area where we were located smelled of smoke from a time when there was a smoking section of the hotel, and as non smokers and active people we were less than pleased. The room itself was clean but for some reason all of our furniture was on top of the bed. It seemed as though no one had stayed in our room for a long while as it took at least 15 minutes for the water to heat up. After moving our bags into the room, we proceeded down to the hot tub to soak our legs. Although the other portion of the hotel did not smell of smoke, it did smell of mildew, and mold was visible almost everywhere. The pool and hot tub were extremely unclean with an apparent lack of chlorine. Although the pool was indoors, it was not heated and therefore freezing and unenjoyable. The hot tub had dirt and grime all over it, making it hard for us not to cringe as we tried to relax. The continental breakfast was better than some we have experienced, but consisted mostly of dried out pastries and bread with options of butter or grape jelly. At checkout another receptionist was even less friendly than the last, and I had to say 'have a great memorial day weekend!' to even receive so much as a good bye. Overall I would say that this hotel needs some serious work, and since there are many other locations to stay around the same price, I would check out other hotels before staying here.

The Mt. Washington Valley Inn needs to work on keeping their premises clean. The upkeep of pool area was such that I could not bring myself to use the facilities. It was musty smelling and dirty. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The stay at the hotel was a great time. The bed was super soft. The staff was real friendly. Thebuilding was under construction while we were there but no noise from the workers. It looks like the place will be super modern when they finish.

It's an older hotel in need of sprucing up. The room was reasonably clean, but attention to details while cleaning would be a good idea (dust on woodwork an in corners).
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

perfect location,hotel is very old but kept clean and the staff was very friendly.our room had murphy beds which was kind of different but we liked it

A great getaway! Located on the main strip of North Conway. Close great resturants and shops. There are multiple ski resorts close by. The Resort it self is a little dated but has a great charm. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. My son enjoyed the indoor pool and I loved the outdoor jacuzzi. Nice an relaxing after a day on the slopes. The resturant located in the Resort is delicious! I would recommed this resort to all my friends! Great and relaxing few days!

Description
The Eastman Inn bed and breakfast is a Georgian colonial built in 1777 which has operated as an Inn since the early 1900s. Today the Eastman Inn offers elegant lodging in fourteen guest rooms, some with fireplaces, whirlpool and claw foot tubs, antiques, sitting areas and balconies. Full gourmet breakfast is served with the menu changing daily. Experience views of the Moat Mountains from the parlor or wrap-around porch of the Eastman Inn.
The rooms are furnished with either King or Queen sized beds, private baths, some with showers, others with old fashioned claw foot tubs. We also have one room with Twin beds on the first floor and another room that has two queen beds on the third floor.
Each morning at the Inn you will be treated to a completely new breakfast experience. Our breakfasts were featured in -Inns Magazine in 2008. Our menu alternates between a sweet surprise or a savory treat. No one goes home hungry, in fact our biggest complaint is that our breakfast fills you up for most of the day. Wake up to fresh coffee brewing, come down early for a cup and greet the day on the porch as you await your morning feast at either the 8:30 or 9:30 seating.
Our Living room comfortably seats small groups of people and many evenings we have lively conversations. In the summer our wraparound porch is the place to congregate and swap stories of your day's adventures. Many of our guests return year after year and have mini reunions out on the porch, Lovely quilts warm our porch rockers or Adirondack chairs as the sun sets over the Moat Mountains.

Description
The Isaac E. Merrill House Inn is over 230-years old and located just over a mile from the quaint village of Conway. Built in 1773, the inn was originally a farm house for local resident Isaac Merrill and his family. Over the years, Isaac allowed artists from Boston to stay at his house in exchange for help on the farm. By 1850, the Merrill family had sold the house to the Russell family, who proceeded to use home as a full-time inn. By the turn of the century, the Russells had erected four more buildings. During that period, this grouping of resort buildings was collectively known as the Village of Inns, lodging up to 200 people at a time. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. I chose this motel because it was closer to the cog train up to Mt Washington without going in to Bretton Woods. The room rate was very reasonable compared to other motels in the area. This motel is away from the congestion of the downtown area which was fine for us. It also meant we had to drive to any restaurant for a meal which was not a problem. We were very satisfied with our accommodations.
