We have stayed at a lot of places in this area and have always wanted to stay at Nordic Village. We stayed in room 122b in the Hallsburg area. The view was incredible, there was a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was great. It never ran out of hot water. The unit was clean and had a microwave and mini fridge. The front desk staff were great. The only downfall is we could occasionally hear the people downstairs. Not sure if they were loud or if its just not very soundproof. so much to do just minutes away! We will definitely return.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE STAFF

We waited over 45 minutes to check in (and it wasn't because they were busy). Upon finally being helped, we were informed that despite having made the reservation with a credit card online, we could only pay in cash. We were sent 4 or 5 miles down the road to an ATM to take out money for our stay. The very rude clerk didn't even offer an apology for our inconvenience. When we finally got into our room, the heat was off. The temperature outside was -3 and our room was no warmer. It was as if they weren't expecting guests, despite our reservation. Even after we cranked the heat, the room never got warm. The woman at the desk made it clear she didn't want to be bothered with helping us, and that included giving us our ski passes that were supposed to be included in the room. And after all that, they still charged my credit card. When I called to dispute it, the woman seemed completely put out to have to help me. Worst experience at a hotel I've ever had.

I love old and quaint and this place was exactly the kind of place I was looking for. If you want new and all the fancies this may not be for you. The location is great, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast brunch had everything you want, especially since it's included in some of the room stays.

Fine older hotel above Jackson, NH. All the amenities... bar, restaurant, golf course, views, very comfortable, clean room with 2 double beds. Would definitely go back... just wish the weather (rainy) had been better.

There is no better resort in the Mountains than Nordic Village Resort to take a vacation with your family or for a romantic retreat. Situated in the heart of the Mount Washington Valley there is always something to do. We are minutes from outlet shopping, dining, Storyland, multiple alpine and x-country ski resorts, hiking and the base of Mount Washington. Nordic Village Resort includes townhouses and condos at Nordic Village, Nordic Wilderness, the Nordic Highlands, and Highland Ridge. Accomodations range from a basic suite for two to a three bedroom penthouse for ten. Most rooms include a jetted tub in bath and fireplace. One indoor pool and spa and one outdoor heated pool and spa open year-round. Childrens entertainment during the summer, bonfires, adults-only fitness center, hiking trails, and a winter recreation park.
