This was our second stay at the AmericInn in Sidney, NE. Our first stay was in a standard room with 2 queen beds. Our second stay was in a King jacuzzi suite. Both rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The suite was worth the price (had a government rate discount). The public hot tub and pool are both very enjoyable. Also the complimentary breakfast is convenient in the morning. The only problem I had at all was I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee pot in the room. I called the front desk staff to ask how to use it, and they couldn't give instructions over the phone, but offered to come up and help. Very friendly service!

This hotel was old, not very well maintained, and located a goodly distance from the freeway. The rooms were small and our particular unit had a shower head but no shower. The wi-fi available in "some rooms" was not available in ours. The best thing about our visit was the coffee shop and bookstore located a block away. Looking for a cheap deal and not too picky -- stop. Otherwise, keep on driving.

well, its hard to expect anything in Sidney, but surprising enough this hotel had some decent rooms and nice fitness center along with a pool. The beds however were not that comfortable but yes it was totally manageable for a day. i would say looking at the location it exists, its a good and safe bet anytime.

The rooms were small and the beds were, too. It worked fine for one night. The beds were comfortable, but would suggest pillowtop mattresses.
