Pretty good location to everything

The hotel was ok. We asked for a non-smoking room but when we checked in the only room available was a smoking room. The next day they switched us to a non-smoking room. The non-smoking room was so much better!! The room was cleaner, the carpet wasn't pealing away from the walls, the bathroom was nicer. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was decent. It had a fitness center, the rooms were clean and 24 hour coffee. I gave it 3 stars because, well it's a 3 star hotel but it's definitely worth the price. The lady at the front desk, I am not sure I remember her name but she's a brunette and works evenings, is really really sweet. So if the housekeeper who's also around the breakfast area. They really make you feel at home!

Rooms were quite large, clean, and comfortable. Staff was fine and a free shuttle to the airport was more than handy. Location between downtown and the river made it easy to walk everywhere downtown, but they do have their own parking. The hotel is six stories high, so if you get a room on the 10th floor you also get a riddle to solve while you are their.

We had a wonderful stay at Element in Midtown Omaha. We really have no complaints about it. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Hotel was clean and quiet and the breakfast was really one of the best we've had.

We came here with some friends (who have a 4 year old daughter), and we all thought this hotel was wonderful!
It has a nice area in each room to cook (including stove top, microwave, sink AND dishwasher. AND dishes. AND silverware!) ..and conveniently, there is a little grocery shop attached to it! (The prices are a little high here, but you ARE paying for convenience).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were major storms forecasted for the area and they were very knowlegable on weather updates, and quick to give ideas on where to dine close to the hotel.
The room was SUPER clean and tidy.
VERY great deal, we will be staying here every time we come to Omaha.

I loved this hotel except for its bathroom arrangements---it uses a sliding door which leaves a wide gap...no real privacy--I told hotel clerk about it and she admitted that they get a lot of negative feedback about it---but, overall, this is a great hotel if you are traveling alone

Nice quick getaway

My wife and I wanted a comfortable room close to restaurants and other fun spots and that's what we got. We had a plumbing issue with a toilet that wouldn't stop running, but we were moved to a close by room and UPGRADED...pleasantly surprised. There was also some missing communication between the night and morning staff, but each time help was requested they made sure that their solution was up to our satisfaction.

Omaha zoo trip. I would say the hotel met expectation. It was a nice pool with water that was bath water temperature. No joke.
I did call the front desk twice and noone answered which was a bit frustrating. The cleaning lady knock on our door at 7:30 A.M. and to see if we check out. Kids were still asleep!
Good location. Front desk help when checking in was fast.

The hotel while in the downtown area, is a rougher part of downtown. The Hotel was bug free, but several things needed attention. The bedding had cigarette burns, and a flat sheet where a fitted one should have been used. The pillow cases were so thin that paper thin would have been complement to them. The bathroom had leaking water from the tub that would not drain. The list goes on and on. If you don't mind a dirty room at a dirt cheap price this is the place for you.

Reserved a non-smoking room and when i opened the door i was smacked in the face with a smoke-hand. The room actually had the windows wide open and the a/c on high to try to circulate the smoke smell out of the room.
The guy wearing the monster hat at the front desk seemed nice though.

The hotel had great attention to detail, it was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the shower was extraordinary. The only thing that I would have changed is that they had a refrigerator/mini bar in the dresser with absolutely nothing in it! I loved the coffee in the am, but having to go down to the front desk was a pain. I would have liked a coffee pot in our room to have my first cup of coffee while we were getting ready in the am.

When I booked this hotel I wasn't really sure what to expect as chose this hotel because the ones I normally stay in were booked. After this stay, Hotel Deco will now be my first choice going forward. I would def recommend it. Love the location- the Zin Room is in the lower lobby and the food and drinks are fantastic!!!

We stayed here because it was close to sokol underground where we were going to for a concert... didn't really do much at the hotel other than get ready for the concert and sleep but it was still really nice! And the beds were actually comfy :)

Our family travelled from the Kansas City area to Omaha for a short weekend vacation to the Zoo and other attractions. Our stay at the Best Western Plus Kelly was great. The room was clean and comfortable and our 5 and 7 year olds loved the kid friendly pool and slides. We would stay there again the next time we are in Omaha

The staff was extremely friendly and prompt with any requests. The pool was great for our 1 and 4 year olds with the shallow depth around the smaller slide. The pool kept us and our kids entertained for hours. The hotel is centrally located for everything from restaurants and shopping to the omaha zoo. Fantastic.

Stayed here for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. Rooms were clean, beds were soft, but the place was loud. However, for the price, I got what I paid for with a free breakfast that was actually quite good.

Hotel is very handy to Omaha airport. Free parking with airport shuttle is a moneysaver for an extended trip. Breakfast bar is pretty sparse but opens at 4:00am. This is a huge advantage for early flights out and the main reason I chose this hotel. Room was clean. Everything worked. Liked having extra outlet by bed to plug my phone in.

Overall, what you'd expect from a Super 8. Room was clean and quiet. Desk staff was OK, but a bit disinterested. The continental breakfast was pretty weak - the fruit wasn't ripe, only one flavor of yogurt, only one cereal.

The room was clean and comfortable. The night desk person--the only person I encountered in the course of the weekend--was friendly and helpful. The motel is behind a strip mall and has a curious atmosphere of isolation. Maybe that's because I was there only at night. The "neighbors" were apparently there only at night, too, and they were relatively quiet.

The room was nice. The location is not great and unfortunately we had bad "neighbors" who came in and out all night and construction people working on the hotel during the day so there wasn't any peace or rest. This was very disappointing. We made one request during our stay that our room be serviced between 8:30 and 11:00 am while we were out. We returned at 10:50 and the room was not serviced. The house keeper showed up at 10:57.

Overall pretty clean. Housekeeping missed a few things that must have fallen behind the nightstand, and that was kinda gross, but I had a fine stay there otherwise. Treadmill worked well and they had plenty of cable channels. Also, easy access wireless included with the room was a big plus. No passwords or codes or anything.

The best thing about our stay was the friendliness and courtesy and helpfulness of the manager (I think). Anyway this person helped us change rooms to accommodate our request and provided a microwave which we were supposed to get in the room. Being totally new to the area, we did not know how far away we were from where we had to go everyday so it was a little inconvenient, but we did get to see a lot of the Omaha area. We would like to thank all the staff.

If you just need a place to sleep, shower and don't plan on staying in the room for much, it works. Took my 10 year old son for a Basketball game in Omaha and just stayed one night . Location is close to zoo and downtown. about 5-10 min away. The clerk was friendly and they had a basic breakfast of bagels, cereal, waffles, juice and coffee. Would stay again if just needed a place to for a night. Clean place, nothing great, nothing bad.

They should tell you that they don't have an elevator at this location. Being handicapped and stuck on the second floor was not good. However the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. Location not the greatest, (not much around), but the price was right for an overnight stay.

Berkshire Shareholder Visit

The hotel is located near Borsheim's, where two of the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder events take place. It was also very close to the Sheraton, where I was able to pick up a shuttle downtown to attend the shareholder meeting. The staff at the Settle Inn was extremely friendly and helpful in advising me about my transportation options to and from the various events. I was given a map showing each of the routes I would take to get to my destinations. The hotel also started its Continental breakfast earlier than normal to accomodate the shareholders who needed to get an early start to attend the meeting events. Very customer-focused! I would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is a bit tricky to find at first, but once you find it, you are set.

Very good hotel! Some say that it's hard to find, but if you have a GPS it's no problem. Check in guy was funny.. He asked if we wanted to be informed if our car lights were on or if the car was struck by a meteorite. Overall Good!
