The hotel was decent. It had a fitness center, the rooms were clean and 24 hour coffee. I gave it 3 stars because, well it's a 3 star hotel but it's definitely worth the price. The lady at the front desk, I am not sure I remember her name but she's a brunette and works evenings, is really really sweet. So if the housekeeper who's also around the breakfast area. They really make you feel at home!

The room was very clean and so where the towels and the sheets. All toiletries were provided by the hotel. This is not a bad place to stay for one night. Its not the nicest and its not as close to the Old market or Downtown as it appears but its clean, and it is much more affordable than the downtown/Old Market hotels.

Rooms were quite large, clean, and comfortable. Staff was fine and a free shuttle to the airport was more than handy. Location between downtown and the river made it easy to walk everywhere downtown, but they do have their own parking. The hotel is six stories high, so if you get a room on the 10th floor you also get a riddle to solve while you are their.

Stayed here for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. Rooms were clean, beds were soft, but the place was loud. However, for the price, I got what I paid for with a free breakfast that was actually quite good.

My wife and I wanted a comfortable room close to restaurants and other fun spots and that's what we got. We had a plumbing issue with a toilet that wouldn't stop running, but we were moved to a close by room and UPGRADED...pleasantly surprised. There was also some missing communication between the night and morning staff, but each time help was requested they made sure that their solution was up to our satisfaction.

Omaha zoo trip. I would say the hotel met expectation. It was a nice pool with water that was bath water temperature. No joke.
I did call the front desk twice and noone answered which was a bit frustrating. The cleaning lady knock on our door at 7:30 A.M. and to see if we check out. Kids were still asleep!
Good location. Front desk help when checking in was fast.

I spent three days in the Omaha area visiting family. I picked the Omaha Travelodge based on the price from [...]. There was nothing bad (or for that matter outstanding) about this location. The king sized bed was comfortable, nice pillows, great Air Conditioner and the room had a nice clean citris smell. Since Perkins is right next store, I only had coffee as my free breakfast. But from what I saw it wasn't too bad............nothing great either. I didn't use the pool or hot tub during my stay. I would stay there again on my next visit.

When I checked in, 27 May, they had me on the third floor with stairs. I am a disabled senior citizen. They moved me to the first floor, and changed my reservation to the first floor, rm 122, for 3 Jun. When I arrived 3 Jun, I was moved back to third floor and they only had one room left on the second floor. Had a lot of difficulty getting up the stairs with my suitcase, purse, and makeup tote. Was very upset that they moved me.

The room was OK and thankfully the housekeeper was honest because we left our cameras in the room after we checked out. They were on a chair that got pushed under a desk, so my husband missed them when he brought the luggage down. Not an easy hotel for a handicapped person because all rooms and the breakfast are accessed by stairs.
Our biggest complaint was a group of young people that were running around above us until 5:00 am.
They put bottle caps in the access doors so they wouldn't lock.

Good value for the money! Even had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Convenient location and easy to find. Staff provided a toothbrush and toothpaste, which I had forgotten, at no charge. Perkins restaurant in motel, which was convenient.

Stayed there one night while visiting the zoo and Durham museum. 8 year old loved the water area. Just a couple gripes. Walking in the front door, all I got was a blast of cigarette smoke. Plus people were smoking on the patio by the pool. This is DEFINITELY not a smoke free facility even if there is technically no smoking in the rooms. Another gripe is there is no wireless in the rooms. Seriously? In 2011? It wouldn't work in the lobby either where it was supposed to so that was a let down.
Just be aware that the workout room is TINY and requires a key, not your room card.
The rooms were really clean and it was nice to have it cooled down after a long day at the zoo. It was well stocked with a good selection of single cup coffee and some tea. We were on the 2nd floor but didn't get any noise from the upstairs neighbor so hopefully that means that it's a well built hotel.
We'd stay there again but would have to bring a laptop to plug in...which we didn't want to do this trip since we would have to leave it in the car all day while at the zoo.

nice place to stay

a little bit hard to find the parking lot but once you find it then its not so bad. i have stayed in other places in the area that cost alot more. The Settle Inn will be where i stay from now on very friendly staff clean comfortable rooms and as far as i am concerned the best bang for your buck.

HARD TO FIND THE FIRST TIME

I had difficulty finding the hotel initially, but figured it out after arriving. The Staff was very helpful with directions to get around town and back to the hotel.
The entire hotel was clean including the rooms, pool exercise room and breakfast room. The breakfast options were awesome. Some of the equipment in the exercise room needed repair.

One Night in Omaha

Overall, what you'd expect from a Super 8. Room was clean and quiet. Desk staff was OK, but a bit disinterested. The continental breakfast was pretty weak - the fruit wasn't ripe, only one flavor of yogurt, only one cereal.

Enjoyed my stay,beds were comfortable,other than the noise from hallways...need to insulate around doors...but i enjoyed the great breakfast included...would stay there again....

Great stay for busy couple

We had a nice stay. We weren't there much we had business and only used the room to sleep. Very clean and loved the bed. We had a king bed and normally I hate hotel beds. Whatever they have for beds keep It was the first time I have slept on a hotel bed and didn't have a back ache in the morning.

Really very good. Location is great, room is a good value, and desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The sink had a problem when I checked in, and they quickly had it fixed.

We were in Omaha to attend a nephew's wedding. Family stayed here and nice to have breakfast and area to visit.

Very adequate for our needs on this trip

The location was close to the the activities we needed to attend during our two day stay. Access to the sites was very handy.
The location of the hotel is in an truck stop area, but, other than some road work going on at the time, it wasn,t a problem.
The motel was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and accomindating. We would definately stay there again. Also, price was right.

There is very well located place, but there is no way to lock the windows on the first floor. Great for a quick stay. Could not regulate water temperature in the shower so got a hot blast.
