we were visiting friends on Saturday and then going on to visit family on Sunday. This was just one night so not comparable to other "trips". We did stay at this same Hampton Inn previously and were happy with that stay as well.

Because of a family reunion, we were able to take advantage by pre-planning our stay. The rate they gave us was unbelievable. We always try to stay at a Hilton affiliated hotel when traveling. We are seldom disappointed.

For a business traveler, this hotel is in an excellent location - close to a variety of dinner options and easy to find. Having free wireless internet in the room is a plus!

I have been working incredibly hard lately and was in desperate need of a vacation. Even though I couldn't get some real time off, I decided to treat my stay as a mini-vacation. The service and eveything else about the hotel was so nice, I was certainly able to accomplish that; even if my stay was only one night. Thanks to everyone at the Lodge!

The entire staff was super friendly. The facilities were awesome! Great indoor pool and spa. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The complimentary bottled water was a nice touch! Hands down the best place to stay in Norfolk.

Outward appearance looks run-down but rooms are clean, friendly staff, decent free breakfast, nice outdoor pool, bar/restaurant=good drinks/food. Definitly would benefit from an outside make-over.

Checked in early evening for a one night stay there on business. Desk clerk very friendly and informative. Room clean and nice size.
Desk area was a little small for a business traveler. Just enough room for lap top on desk, had to spread out the rest of my things on the bed.
Nice bar/restaurant next door within walking distance. Good food at reasonable price.
For the price and a one-night stay it was perfect. Will book future trips to the area using this hotel.
