My family and I were in town for a high school graduation. Between the parties and graduation we were not in our room a lot. When we checked in the front desk gave us a good view of the capitol since we had a young child. Thought that was nice. The hotel was in walking distance of the church we used and the location of the graduation. We did have to pay for parking but I believe most downtown hotels are the same way. They do have a valet but was more expensive than the parking garage that is connected to the hotel. The only true negative experience I had were the feather pillows. But that is my preference. My husband was fine with them. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay there again.

Hotel/staff was fine. I was very disappointed to see the rate I paid thru [...]was $15-$20 more than a special being offered by the Hotel on a sign in front. Of course payment was already made so nothing I could do. I will be interested to see if [...]allows this on website.

Nothing really fancy but full of amenities and filled our needs. We weren't at the motel much but it was clean and the personel were helpful and friendly. I would recommend given the very resonable price.

It's still a Super 8, but for a quick couple of days in Lincoln to see a game, it's in a great location, very clean and has friendly staff. The floors are a little squeaky and you'll want to call to confirm your preferences (non-smoking, floor, accessibility).

Staff was extraordinary, from the shuttle driver to the front-desk people to the maintenance men in the hallways. Room was exceptionally nice--microwave, frig, tiled bath, flatscreen TV, and comfy bed. Quiet stay in a charming area of the city. Perfect for my business trip; would choose it again!

It was the smallest room I have stayed in, but I was thankful to be able to travel with my dog. My daughter and granddaughter were also along.When we opened the port-a-crib there was no room. We could not have gotten in the room with all the stuff a toddler needs, or we think we need, without the cart the hotel provides. Needing to walk the dog, we found the parking lot full of broken glass and dangereous walk to grassy areas. I know that is early spring, but the lot should be cleaned as soon as possible. The cushion under the window is a little thread bare. Maybe a sheet should be offered if someone needs to sleep on it.

We arrived after midnight so did not get to enjoy this hotel as much as we would have liked. We planned on a visit to the university and this hotel was close enough for our needs. Very comfortable beds, good breakfast, and the shower had just the right amount of pressure. Staff was friendly and efficient upon checkin.

This hotel is literally blocks from the University of Nebraska stadium! Not the classiest part of town, but safe & clean. Hotel was a great basic hotel, clean, pleasant staff. The great thing here is location ! We will stay here again when we return next year!

Embassy Suites Lincoln provided a comfortable environment throughout every aspect of the hotel. From the hotel lobby, the bar and grill, the room, and everything in between; the staff of the Embassy Lincoln were outstanding in their respect of the guests.
The location is within walking distance of the famous and historic Haymarket District. (I highly reccommend visiting "The Oven" restaurant if you like good Indian food; Lazlo's for a decent American grill with an outstanding microbrewery, and Misty's for the best prime rib you'll ever have at a steakhouse).

This is a great hotel for short or long stays. I especially liked the kitchen with stove, microwave, sink, dishes, and full-size fridge. The hotel has free laundry machines and a mini-mart stocked with food and travel amenities.
I stayed for three nights and was able to work comfortably in my room. The large desk and wireless internet were perfect for what I needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our hotel in Lincoln is the best suite hotel you can find. Set up as a quaint cottage style suite hotel it feels like a residential area. The Room was great, I did think it was a little weird that it had a kitchenette and everything for the price, it seems more like a place you would stay for a while. Over all it was good though, The only issues I had was you have to be 21 to check in there, even if you paid for the room and everything!

Rooms very nice. Large and comfortable. We found the breakfast to be less than we expected. Hot entry was only biscuits and gravy. Nothing for the family that doesn't like that.

Booked hotel due to us visiting the Madonna Clinic in Lincoln...was easy travel to Madonna and hotel was clean. Beds are comfy and breakfast was awesome.

Fun and relaxing weekend getaway

We traveled to Lincoln Saturday afternoon for a little getaway with the kids. We had an early Sunday morning volleyball tournament and wanted to sleep in and not have to drive on questionably slick roads. The kids swam and we relaxed in a very clean & comfortable hotel. The breakfast was wonderful...so much to choose from...and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

New, clean and very quiet and comfortable room. We asked for a room on the top floor since we had heard Holiday Inn Express's could be noisy. We did not hear any doors shutting or anyone in the halls which was great - plus in was on a Husker football weekend.

Christmas Day breakfast was leftover day old donuts. Could have planned better breakfast item selections. Maybe some non-wheat items. Wi-fi worked very well in the room. Cable TV was good. Dust mites in the pillows--affected my asthma--could not sleep on the bed. Air was dry due to no humdity in the heater's non-thermostat system. Need to upgrade heating.cooling system.

I don't think the motel would have been worth the non-internet price. However, the discount we got made it worth it. Room was a nice size, very airy because we could open the window. Shower and bathroom was clean and large. Great TV reception which was not blocked by the desk area where my husband was doing computer work. Breakfast was very nice, served on real dishes and real silverware. Lots of fresh cut-up fruit and real oatmeal already made. Biscuits & grave and chicken steaks. Would have like scrambled eggs and sausage. They need more luggage carts - had to make 4 trips to get our stuff to the room because the 2 carts were being used. This is a large motel for only having 2 carts. Fresh coffee & cookies.

This is a very clean location, very new. The price was excellent. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of fresh items. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful. This site gets overlooked because it is not in the heart of Lincoln, but the prices are more competitive because it's off the downtown traffic areas. Well worth the stay.

My wife and I requested a king bed when we purchased the room, however when we got to our room we found it to be a double queen. I was disappointed at first and called the front desk. The manager spoke with me and appologized for the inconveinence but the room I booked had a stay-over so she offered bottles of water or snacks which might make our stay more comfortable. They were very helpful.

We just used the hotel for a one night stay. The hotel was clean and had everything they advertised. The pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast was perfect for us since we were traveling and didn't want to search for a place to eat. It was exactly what we wanted.

I have a 1 year old son and traveling with him is not easy. I forgot to pack some milk for him for bedtime. My husband went down to the front desk and asked if they knew where we could buy some. They opened the kitchen/breakfast room and let my husband fill a sippy cup with milk, on the house. Thank you for small acts of kindness :)
The staff gets a 4 overall because the cook during breakfast was very rude. We came down to eat breakfast at 8:45 a.m., (it's served until 10 am, so we had plenty of time) and when we asked when he would have more biscuits and gravy, he replied, "No, I'm not making any more gravy. Eggs are the last thing I'm making." He came out with eggs and biscuits 15 minutes later and never did make more gravy. We were not the only ones unhappy with the discovery, either. I considered talking to the manager, but why ruin the trip over one grumpy employee?

Nice hotel, staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. A little expensive for the hotel, but we stayed on a busy weekend, and I think all the hotels raised their prices.
