My family and I were in town for a high school graduation. Between the parties and graduation we were not in our room a lot. When we checked in the front desk gave us a good view of the capitol since we had a young child. Thought that was nice. The hotel was in walking distance of the church we used and the location of the graduation. We did have to pay for parking but I believe most downtown hotels are the same way. They do have a valet but was more expensive than the parking garage that is connected to the hotel. The only true negative experience I had were the feather pillows. But that is my preference. My husband was fine with them. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay there again.

Hotel/staff was fine. I was very disappointed to see the rate I paid thru [...]was $15-$20 more than a special being offered by the Hotel on a sign in front. Of course payment was already made so nothing I could do. I will be interested to see if [...]allows this on website.

Nothing really fancy but full of amenities and filled our needs. We weren't at the motel much but it was clean and the personel were helpful and friendly. I would recommend given the very resonable price.

Great base for game day

It's still a Super 8, but for a quick couple of days in Lincoln to see a game, it's in a great location, very clean and has friendly staff. The floors are a little squeaky and you'll want to call to confirm your preferences (non-smoking, floor, accessibility).

It was the smallest room I have stayed in, but I was thankful to be able to travel with my dog. My daughter and granddaughter were also along.When we opened the port-a-crib there was no room. We could not have gotten in the room with all the stuff a toddler needs, or we think we need, without the cart the hotel provides. Needing to walk the dog, we found the parking lot full of broken glass and dangereous walk to grassy areas. I know that is early spring, but the lot should be cleaned as soon as possible. The cushion under the window is a little thread bare. Maybe a sheet should be offered if someone needs to sleep on it.

Rooms very nice. Large and comfortable. We found the breakfast to be less than we expected. Hot entry was only biscuits and gravy. Nothing for the family that doesn't like that.

Christmas Day breakfast was leftover day old donuts. Could have planned better breakfast item selections. Maybe some non-wheat items. Wi-fi worked very well in the room. Cable TV was good. Dust mites in the pillows--affected my asthma--could not sleep on the bed. Air was dry due to no humdity in the heater's non-thermostat system. Need to upgrade heating.cooling system.

I don't think the motel would have been worth the non-internet price. However, the discount we got made it worth it. Room was a nice size, very airy because we could open the window. Shower and bathroom was clean and large. Great TV reception which was not blocked by the desk area where my husband was doing computer work. Breakfast was very nice, served on real dishes and real silverware. Lots of fresh cut-up fruit and real oatmeal already made. Biscuits & grave and chicken steaks. Would have like scrambled eggs and sausage. They need more luggage carts - had to make 4 trips to get our stuff to the room because the 2 carts were being used. This is a large motel for only having 2 carts. Fresh coffee & cookies.

The room was very clean so 5 stars for the cleaning staff. the counter staff are friendly and the flyer information center was fully stocked as we found several places that were of interest to us right there in the lobby. Pillows were a little small but overall Howard Johnson "You Rock".

If at all possible choose another hotel. Beware of booking hotel room as I ended up staying in a smoking room and was never asked if I prefered smoking or non smoking. This hotel is definitely not worth the price you pay to stay there.

Room neat and clean and comfortable....staff very pleasant and accomodating...Building older and some sprucing up needed; new carpeting in rooms and updated air conditioners and refinish room doors, etc. Nice pool and hot tub.
"Luckies" restaurant is more like neighborhood bar, not family restaurant. Exercise equipt not in top shape. Clean and functional, nice staff....not of the resort type....budget friendly.

the trip was not of joy. the motel was to far out of the city, four walls and a bad bed, and the continetal breakfast was of zero value. i will pay more attition to my needs in the future and be sure not to select a travelodge unless that is all there is. where i was, ia was unable to find a acceptable place for dinner and spent a lot of time trying to following their directions to a near by restruant. i did not need any other services which is good because this motel was way out.

We had been traveling all day and needed a place to rest for the night. This was very quiet, clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was not very good, didnt offer much. We went to Perkins next door.

For the $200.00/night rate on the king suite, we overpayed. The room was lacking in the little extras like shower gel, lotion, etc. We had plastic glasses and no creamer or cups for the coffee. The lobby printer was not working and neither was the "free in room wi-fy" we had to sit in the hall to access it.
It was clean and the bed was very comfy, but it just lacked in the little things that you look for when spending 200$/night in Nebraska.
