What wasn't right they made right.

Everything about our stay was great. Needless to say we had very dissappointed kids and not a lot to do with them being in such a small town with no pool or hot tub in our hotel. The manager there did upgrade our room to a family suite with no charge, so that made us feel like they at least cared to try to make things right.

This hotel was extremely clean, cozy, and up to date. The only complaint I have is the house keeping staff. The check out time is 11:00 AM, and I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. At 8:30 AM I had a knock on my door with a voice saying house keeping, and as I was getting my robe on to answer the door, they immediately opened the door, thankfully I had the door latch locked so they could only open the door a crack, then they quickly apologized and left. I was confused as to why they would try to enter when I had the sign up, AND it was a few hours away from check out time. Other than that, I give the over all experience a 9 out of 10.

Description
Welcome to the American Inn in Alliance-not far from Scottsbluff. Clean, comfortable accommodations feature one queen-size bed or two queen-size beds. Ample amenities and excellent services guarantee a pleasant stay. Our terrific location provides divine attractions that are easy to get to such as Box Butte Reservoir, Carhenge, City Fountain, and City Park Cave. Plus, were incredibly close-within a one-mile radius-of several fine dining establishments, including Martins Restaurant and LaVilla Restaurant. Front Desk Hours are 6am -11pm daily. If checking in after 11pm please go to the Days Inn which is 1 block away for check-in information.

room wasn't ready at check in time,checked in 1 hour late,room was filthy,no phone service the week end,night staff had no axcess to anything. would not stay there again ,[...]

The hotel had no one in it but us...and I know why. The room was very shabby. The beds were old a worn out. No coffee cups or glasses---no ironing board in room. The heat had no thermostat control. It was hot or cold, and had to be adjusted during the night several times. Do not stay here.

There are a number of other attractions while in Alliance, Nebraska such as Carnegie Art Center, Lange Lake, Knight Museum & Sandhills Center, Box Butte Reservoir, Alliance Historical Fountain, and Sallows Museum, as Alliance, Nebraska has a lot of history to offer. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Very clean facilities, helpful staff, great breakfast. Have stayed in similar hotels and was disappointed in the price. Seemed a little high for the location. Stayed at a cheaper hotel for 3 days before switching for one day due to the price.
