Our Pool and Pool Area will be closed from October 31st thru November 10th for Renovations.
The Ramada Grand Forks is conveniently located off I-29 at exit 141. Our hotel is just down the street from the University of North Dakota.
We are perfectly located in Grand Forks to all area attractions. We are less than one mile from the Alerus Center, Engelstad Arena and the University of North Dakota. Many other attractions nearby include Grand Forks Air Force Base, Columbia Mall, Cabelas Sporting Goods, Empire Arts Theatre and Kings Walk Golf Course.

The hotel is stuck in the late 80's/early 90's with its furnishings. From the lobby and 'restaurant' decor to the room it self. The hotel is average size, enough spaces for kids to sneak away in.
The room was average size as well. Four of us shared a room (two couples) and the only complaint was the beds weren't up to par. Both beds sagged in the middle and the sheets/comforter was less than to be desired. The room AC unit was loud and clunky. Had to manually control it in a awkward position with little lighting.
We paid $90 a night for this Sioux hockey weekend. Overall I guess it wasn't a horrible stay. Lots of kids running around during the day. Just an very average at best hotel for the city.

The room was clean and comfortable with ample pillows to suit anyone. We did not eat at the restaurnat but our experience with the hotel was good.

The Travelodge is Grand Forks best value in lodging. We offer a free deluxe continental breakfast and in-room coffee. Our facilities include a large indoor pool, spa - Spa being renovated through April 30, 2011, as well as an exercise room, and guest laundry. We feature specialty rooms such as Sleepy Bear Dens and Jacuzzi suites. Formerly the North Star Inn, the Travelodge has updated its look and services, while maintaining its pride in Grand Forks history.
Pets are allowed: Small dogs only, NEVER cats, at 5.00 a night. ONLY accepted in NDD1 and DD1 rooms on first floor. Pets cannot be left unattended, cannot be in pool area or breakfast room. For the benefit of guests with allergies, any other areas must be pre-approved through our manager or assistant manager.

I traveled to attend a reunion. I chose this hotel because it was close by and less expensive than the reunion recommended hotel.
Everything that I needed or wanted was close by and easy to get to.
Compared to other hotels, I was well satisfied for the money I spent. The bed was comfortable, the towels were plush and the house keeping staff was very attentive. The hotel offered a continental breakfast that was very nice. Will stay there again when I go to Grand forks, North Dakota

old and smokey hotel. If you need a place to sleep at night, go here. If you want a place to hang out in the pool and are going to be in the hotel a lot, try somewhere else.

The so called water park was discusting. The rock floor was falling apart and moldy and the pool area had an foul smell. Our room door did not lock behind us, unless you giggled it. The shower never got hot, only luke warm. Finally the cleaning staff stood outside our door complaining about one another and management for at least 15 minutes. I will never stay there again.

OK – The staff very friendly and helpful, but the rooms are in need of some updating, the air freshener used way too strong. There are nicer places to stay in Grand Forks for the same price.

We stayed at the Day's Inn, before catching a flight out of Grand Forks. Only one thing would have made our stay better. If we could have left our truck at the hotel, we would be staying there on our return also.
