when housekeeping came early Sat morning and we were still in bed and told them to come back later, they never did. we came back to the room at 11 that night after leaving around 1130 am and the room had not been touched! good thing we shared towels!

This hotel was reasonably priced for the location and was recently renovated with a modern look. It was beautiful. The breakfast was exceptional. The only bad thing I have to say is that out room was right next to the ice machine and it was very loud in the early hours of the morning! Other than that... great place and will come back, but will request not to be by the ice machine!!

I had an excellent experience. Traveling, I want a clean, quiet, hotel experience. I believe this was one of the best hotels in this price range that I have ever seen. Added bonus wonderful bed, linens and marble bathroom features. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Bismarck, ND!

I had to be up early to take an exam. There was a hockey tournament in town and the hotel was very busy. Our room was still quiet and comfortable, had a great night's sleep. Only complaint would be that the treadmill was out of order and the exercise room was very small and inadequate. But, I was on the fifth floor and the stairwell was enclosed, so I was able to run the stairs and get a good workout.
I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

We went to Bismarck to look for a new car and also to get out of town for a little bit. The Hotel was pretty good. It was clean which is a huge plus and it had some good "extras" (pool, exercise room, computer room, ect) The room was very small. The location is great if you are going to need to be in and out of the hospitals and was pretty good for the capital and the mall (very very small mall) but there are not any resturaunts or much else for a good distance! Over all it was alright but I was really kind of disappointed.

Large, comfortable rooms. Newer hotel. Air conditioning worked great in the very hot conditions outside. Located close to I-94, but not right on the road. Fine overnight stopover point on drive from Minneapolis to southwest Montana.

went to a wedding and business..a small lounge would be nice..one thing that happened was water from rain storm ran into our room from the window and we had to get extra towels to soak up the water...would be nice to have ice machines on every floor instead of walking up or down stairs to get ice... minor thing but for the price of the room ice should be available on each floor. The heater in the room started and stopped all night and each time the housing of the heater rattled loud enough to wake us. Also, we were disturbed a number of time by the sounds from the next room and also people walking down the hallway and talking.

The rom was fair, but the fan didn't work in the bathroom. It could use a refrigerator and a microwave. The rest of the room was good. It was difficult to find an elevator. The pool was small and with everyone using the slides there was many times a person would be struck.

We had a good experience at this hotel the first two nights of our stay. However, on the third night, the hotel was hosting several Christmas parties and there was a serious problem with noise and disorderly conduct into the wee hours of the morning. No action was taken by hotel employees.

Overall the hotel was OK. The one thing that I didn't like was that the 2nd day we did not get fresh towels or garbages emptied from housekeeping until about 3:00pm.

This hotel had microwave, fridge and even a sleeper couch standard in all the rooms. Beds were firm but comfortable with cushion top. Blankets of decent quality. Ramadas are made with cheaper materials than say a Holiday, but the hotel is still fairly new so you can't really tell. Our room was quiet. Pool is well taken care of. Room was very clean. Staff was professional. Location edge of town right off higway. All around this hotel is excellent in value.

We had a short stay, arriving in the middle of the night and leaving shortly prior to check-out time. That said, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we weren't disturbed. No problems, here!

Easy access from airport and to business centers. Large clean room with comfortable work space. Breakfast was a little hit and miss as to quality. Decent fitness center. Easy access to restaurants for dinner.

Poor room and staff

When we checked in on Saturday, the woman at the desk was fantastic! She went out of her way for us and she gets 5 stars! When we checked out, a different woman at desk and when I complained about the room, she didn't eve apologize, just made excuses. The bed by the window made a loud clicking noise with every movement and the heat wouldnt turn all the way off. Was at least 80 in the room at night. Hard to sleep. Woman at desk just said "It's hooked up to the boiler system, it won't blow cool air now would it?" What kind of business doesn't appologize for inconvenience??

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. But the conditions were not good. The carpet was quite dirty. TV was broken. The price for the room with 2 people was $49.99 + tax. I would avoid using this hotel again.

We are only minutes from the State Capitol, Federal Building, Med Center Hospital, St. Alexius Hospital, University of North Dakota, Bismarck State College, Governors Mansion, Railroad Museum, and the Dakota Zoo. The Budget Inn Express Bismarck is located in downtown Bismarck, ND. The riverboat Lewis and Clark makes daily cruises on the Missouri River. Maximum of 3 people in single bed rooms, maximum of 5 people in double bed rooms. NO CANCELLATIONS FOR ONLINE RESERVATIONS WILL BE TAKEN BY PHONE.

I have stayed at many motels in this price range with no problems or issues with quality. The condition and cleanliness of this motel is unacceptable. I would recommend removing this motel from your list of suggested locations.

In Bismarck for a business trip. Hotel was convenient and everything I needed plus a GREAT breakfast. Not just muffins, but waffles, eggs and bacon!
