This was a one-night stay so we could stop and see friends who had moved away. The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have new fixtures and had plenty of grab bars in the tub and shower. We will stay there again our next trip through Greenville.

We did not get the room we requested and paid for. I requested one NON SMOKING room with a King Size bed with an additional cost of 5 dollars per night. We were given a smoking, double full size bed room and when we asked why we could not have the room with the King bed we reserved, we were told there were no more available. There was no offer or concern to correct our resevervation either.

Hotel was clean, but somewhat dated. Bed was a little lumpy, and pillows were very uncomfortable. I could hear person next door talking on the phone, and when his alarm clock went off in the morning.

We arrived in town at 2:00 for a wedding that was starting at 4:00 pm, we asked if we could check in early and the nasty lady at the front desk replied, " NO, we had a full house last night and we won't have rooms available until around 3:30 or 4 pm and we only have one person in house keeping today." Mind you this was also Eastern Carolina Univ. graduation weekend and folks were starting to pull in due to graduation starting at 6 pm. My boyfriend then asked if we could change in the restrooms and she was not too thrilled with us doing that. Finally, she 2-wayed housekeeping to check on the status of the rooms and found out that several rooms were indeed ALREADY CLEANED.
When I asked her about the Wyndham Rewards program, she had no brochures handy and could not tell me anything about the program. The room was nice and clean but the restroom could have used some more work. The wash cloth had holes in them and the bath towels looked dirty.
At breakfast the next morning, we could not find anyone who spoke Ebglish who could replenish the waffle batter, the Cranberry juice or bring out more bagels. The lady who was sitting there kept say," No comprendo". I was very disappointed in this Wingate, I have stayed at other Wingates and enjoyed everything. I highly recommend hiring more staff on BUSY weekends or after BUSY nights and have someone who speaks english who can assist your customers.

Overall it was a good value for the money. Free WiFi, great service (the called 15 minutes after we arrived in the room to ensure everything was as we expected), and central location.
We gave the Inn 4 stars because the continental breakfast lacked protein. It was adequate, just not enough for our tastes.

Great, courteous staff - but needs an upgrade and greater attention to maintenance details. I frequent the hotel and always have some sort of maintenance issue (e.g., no hot water, running toilet, amenities not refreshed). But - it's still the best in town!

Three of us ECU grads met in Greenville for a girls' night and the Hilton was a great place to stay. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and it is clean. It is also in a good location. It is the second time we have stayed there this year and we will stay there again.

The room was better then the exterior. I didn't expect it but the inside was in better shape then the outside. Room was clean and it was a reasonable deal. I dont buy into the "super Saver" breakfast, it was a bit disappointing

We had some planning & discussions that we needed to do while staying at the Best Western. The sitting area was perfect and helped facilitate the discussion. Having a refrigerator was also helpful since we had brought our own beverages.

The first room we were given wasn't great--the toilet was broken and kept running, and the phones didn't work! But the next was fine--comfortable beds, excellent shower, plenty of space, though not really a "suite" in the sense of more than one room. Refreshing that the view was not over a parking lot but over a field and woods (back side of the hotel). We didn't have breakfast--can't speak to that.

My family of five stayed and we were very comfortable. The room is nice and clean No refrigerator or microwave but it was very clean! Expecially the bathroom. There was fresh popcorn in the afternoon and the free breakfast was awesome. I'm talking toast, sausage, eggs. pancakes, bacon, freash fruit. Cinni buns, cereal, oatmeat, grits super yum. The location is awesome close to everything shopping and restaurants. Nice big city within a small town feel. The value was great. You wont be sorry you stopped in for a long or short stay.

Was there for an ECU softball tournament. I was trying to save money and this is a great place to stay for the price. It was my third stay here and I will definately stay again on future trips. It's clean and everyone is very friendly.

Stayed for parents weekend. (Sept). Booked and paid for room back in July.
Negatives:
- Bad smell from sink was the first thing we noticed upon entering the room.
- Bed was uncomfortable for my husband.
- First floor room near elevator, noisy when anyone was in the hall we could hear them
loud and clear.
- no breakfast, there is a kitchenette in room but we were there only for the night and did not bring our own food. Many hotels offer a breakfast buffet. Not this one.
- room missing the iron. Board but no iron.
Positives:
-a place to stay on crowded parents weekend.
-kitchenette was well stocked if you were using this as an extended stay.

I was just coming in from FL and I was kind of tired. Unsure what they would say being Memorial Day weekend, I asked if I could check in early. They let me check in early and also set me up, with a room of my liking. The staff was more than professional and friendly, even after locking my key in the room, twice. The last place I stayed and that happened, it was like being questioned by Benson and Stabler from Law and Order SVU, not a good experience. I tell you, it was a great pleasure staying there, and my wife and I will definitely be there again. The only low side was that room service only cleaned the room once a week, but fresh linen was at the ready, so it really made up for it.

Homewood is an economical place to stay for in town guests that plan to say more than a few days. The kitchenette with dishes were great to have. My only complaints were the room smelled a bit musky and there was little bathroom amenities.

The Hotel seemed to be in order. The exterior of the building was well kept and neat in appearance. The interior of the main entrance seemed to be in the middle of either recieving new wallpaper or paint, because there were imperfections in it. The staff were decently groomed and very helpful. The manager on duty even helped me to save an additional 20$ on my next nights stay. The room was very nice and cleaned properly. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The service was top notch from the Comedy show at the Bistro to the food, service and Bar!! I visited the pool and it was "cozy". A decent size with no one tripping over one another. The downside was on the first night of my three day say. The cleaning lady was a little upset because I needed more time to exit. She kindly informed me that she didn't have many other rooms on my floor (3rd) but would reluctantly return! Beyond that day the trip was awesome.

OK. Price was good and beds were confortable. There was a teenage type kids party going on and I could hear them yelling in the halls a little but not too bad. Would like to know since I was traveling with kids.

It's a standard older motel

The Days Inn is like may other older motels being two stories with outdoor entrances to the rooms. It is in need of updating. The beds were comfortable and the room was in order and clean. Way overpriced for a football weekend but so are all the places. It's located between Denny's and Waffle House so you can get a great full breakfast close by. They do offer a continental breakfast free of charge. If the minimum of a comfortable bed and clean room are what you're looking for, it's fine. If you want a well put together room and modern building, this is not it. We would stay here again, unlike another experience in Greenville! Avoid the Travelodge by all means!

The room was actually nicer than I had expected, which made it a good value. It was also quiet. The only down side was that I needed a refrigerator, but the mini-frige in the room did not work.

overall the hotel wasn't as bad as i expected. the front desk staff was very friendly, however, the beds were hard (i'm used to a pillow-top), there was only one wash cloth in the room for 2 people and the outlet in the sink area did not work.
