Decent hotel, what you'd expect for the price

Really nothing bad or amazing to say. The staff was nice, the room was clean, a little smoky smelling, but not overwhelming. Wifi worked, tv worked. Not the nicest area but we didn't feel unsafe. Good value for the money, but don't expect anything luxurious. A few restaurants are very close, so no need to drive for a bite to eat.

Affordable price good location

I was here on business. Overall the hotel suited all of my basic needs. It is located about 10 minutes from downtown Belmont, and about 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte. The airport is also very close. I chose this hotel because I knew the price was reasonable and I had stayed there before and knew what I was going to get.
A big plus was that there was a full breakfast every morning, usually sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes, sausage or bacon, waffles, cereal, juice, milk, muffins, etc. Good start to the day. Also had a refrigerator and microwave, so I bought food and made lunch and dinner to save money.
My complaints would be that the room had an unpleasant odor to it when first walking in, like a musty smell if I had to describe it. Wasn't bad. It would have also been nice to have sidewalks on the roads near the hotel so I could easily walk or run to nearby businesses. The fitness center is no more than a small room with a exercise bike, eliptical, and weight machine with pulley that you can adjust the height on to do curls or pull downs.
Overall this trip was fine and no major complaints with the hotel. I recommend it if you are on a budget and want a clean hotel.

Hotel is located next to the interstate. The room I got faced the exit ramp, and was VERY noisy. I cut my trip short, cause I couldn't relax with all the noise. The shower was unusual to say the least. It had 2 shower heads....one at normal height, and another about naval level. The pipes were loose in the wall, when I pulled the plunger out for the shower...the whole works came forward...scared me...thought I had broken it. Anyway, aside from the shower and the noise level at my room, everything else was ok. Room was clean, and smelled nice. The AC worked really well. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. So, overall not bad. The noise problem would need to be addressed. DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IN A ROOM FACING THE INTERSTATE. Good luck!

The hotel wasn't incredibly comfortable, but I didn't mind. The continental breakfast was much better than I expected. The staff was very nice. They didn't have a very good gym and no hotel store. My only real complaint is that I asked the front desk for a few more coffee packets for the small in-room coffee maker and they only had one extra regular coffee and didn't offer to retrieve more.

This motel has made some improvements since we were there last. It's definitely not the Hilton but for the price and location, it's always perfect for us. The staff was helpful and nice and the room was comfortable...nothing fancy but I can't expect that for the price. We'll continue using this place!

disappointing night at knights

the room we booked did not have towels. we were given another room that had only one set minus the
shower towel. we were too spent to try to rectify and used that room. In the morning I went for coffee and perhaps a fruit, there was coffee but no creamer, or anything to eat.

This hotel was surprisingly nice for the price paid. It was a one-night stopover stay...I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, but for a short stay at a good rate, it is nice.
