We were meeting up in Raleigh and this hotel was easy for all of us to find. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast adequate. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub was not available. Overall a good value and we'd stay again if in Raleigh/Durham.

The hotel was only minutes from the family we were visiting. There was tons of stuff to do near by and convenient to get any where in Durham. Only draw back was it sits on an access road and a U turn was involved when leaving the hotel which was a little hairy if you are not used to that. Lobby was attractively decorated for Christmas, breakfast was good, pool very clean (although a bit cool)Some rooms had a microwave/fridge. Ours did not. Would request that next time. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. This hotel had all of the basic needs. There was nothing fancy about the hotel, but the employees were great, the rooms were comfortable, there was a nice breakfast, and there was a fitness center that was adequate. The hotel was only 8 miles from Duke University, which was convenient since that was the reason we were staying there. We had to deal with no traffic jams, and the interstates and highways were all close to the hotel. Also, there was plenty of restaurants and gas stations that were right by the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel while I interviewed for graduate school at Duke University. The Raleigh-Durham Airport is about 8 miles away so I felt that the location was very central to everywhere I wanted to go while I visited the area. I visited Durham, Chapel-Hill, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Duke University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park, and many surrounding areas. Being right off I-40 it was easy to locate and get to where I needed to go and then find the hotel when I was done. It was easy to locate several large shopping malls and housing options in case I move here.
Traffic was minimal so getting into downtown Durham was quick and easy. I only ran into heavy traffic once in my four days there and I think it was due to a sports event at UNC.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room were clean and the furniture appeared new. The room I was in consisted of a king bed, chair with ottoman, end tables with lamps, floor lamp, desk with lamp and chair, mirror, closet, TV in armoire, table, small refrigerator, microwave, closet, ironing board with iron, and safe. The bathroom included a large whirlpool tub/shower. The room was cleaned every day with fresh linen bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, and lotion. I was glad that they didn't skimp on this as other places sometimes do.
The complementary breakfast is a must for me and what they had was what I would expect for the price. Breakfast included a hot Belgian waffle maker, cold cereal, instant hot cereal, variety of donuts, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled egg, fruit, juices, and coffee. There was a manager's reception on Wednesday night with food from a local restaurant. The staff often baked fresh cookies for hotel guests. To help keep my travel costs down I purchased frozen dinners at a nearby grocery store and cooked them in the microwave in my room.
The free Wi-Fi internet and business center were included and I feel these are essential for any traveler.
One website said that the hotel had an agreement with a nearby fitness center for their patrons to be able to use for free. Not true. The hotel fitness center is lacking and had broken equipment. This was a big disappointment for me.
Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at Comfort Inn and if I return I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great Hotel, Needs better Room Assigning

Great a hotel but on Saturday night we couldn't sleep due to noise on our floor and after the 3rd call in to the front desk we found out that our floor was the center of a teenage slumber party for the kids of the Durham area. We had to move floors in the middle of the night in our pajamas and leave all of our luggage in the first room. This was a huge deal b/c I had a 9 month old and a small dog that barks at noise (I had to hold him all night before we moved so he wouldn't get up and bark). I just think that they should have considered things like that when assigning rooms - especially with a baby involved. This slumber part was only on the second floor so there were a lot of other rooms they could have put us. The man that helped us move in the middle of the night was very helpful though.

Liked this hotel, VERY close to highways, very close to Duke (which was my main reason for visiting the area), friendly staff, very clean.
Only drawback was the drainage in the tub in our room specifically was pretty bad. I would've asked to change rooms, but my stay was only a day and change, so didn't make too much of a fuss about it.

While the design felt a bit dated, the details were all fine. For example, while the carpet pattern seemed traditional, there were no stains or tears. Same for paint, wallpaper, furniture. The room was quite large and had two microwaves and two refrigerators. One refrigerator was rather noisy, so I unplugged it. There was a bit of freeway noise, but not enough to keep me awake. The fitness room had a decent variety of equipment, including free weights.

This is a very nice hotel and we got it on-line at a great price! The waterfall in the lobby is immediately soothing after an 8 hour drive from Philly. The location is perfect for exploring the Durham-Chapel Hill area. There is a continental breakfast until 9:30am(weekdays)with coffee in the morning which worked out great for sleeping in a bit. Just down the road there is a great outdoor mall with nice restaurants and bars.

The hotel is beautiful with a contemporary fountain in the lobby. Each floor overlooks the lobby as does the elevator. The rooms were a good size and clean. A newspaper is placed at your door every morning. The staff is friendly and helpful, for instance, they ran off directions from Google map when needed. I was able to use the business center room to print out copies of our boarding passes. The only issues I have, which are minor, is that breakfast ends at 9:30 am, and the continental breakfast is limited. A full breakfast is also offered, but the menu has limited choices. This is the only reason I didn't give this hotel a 5 star rating.

This was a good stay for the price. My stay was short because I was there for specirfic family business. Everything was fine. However,they do not have a gym although they advertise that. They do have a small work out room that will suffice until you return to your own gym.

Visit for graduation weekend, convenient to Airport, Durham & Chapel Hill. Located right off I-40. Very nice room, lighting could have been a tad better, but good bed, quiet room, quick elevators & a good continental breakfast.

I think the lobby has been renovated, but the rooms are pretty dated. Sinks didn't work great, but they had a pool that the kids loved. The price was appropriate. This place would really be fantastic if they renovated the rooms. Beds, AC, Bathroom, all needed a little help.
Of course it was clean and nice.

We got there on a Friday night and the evening manager was super helpful. He told us where a great restaurant was, hand delivered the babies crib and gave us directions to everything, The breakfast was great, the rooms clean, beds comfortable and a good value for the money. My only complaint was the pool was too cold.

When I checked in, no one at the desk told me that the hotel had a computer room, fitness center etc. Could have been more informative. I didn't know of these things until the last day. Staff people were OK - not overly friendly.

Went to my aunts funeral and I was pleased with being able to stay in the room without having togo anywhere. There is nothing to make the stay better because everything was perfect. A this is the best motel that I have stayed in since I have been traveling. I would rather stay in a hotel like this than having a time share.

It wasn't hard to find with a GPS. They were very nice and friendly. Rooms were vey spacous and clean.
Room had a kitchenette which is great when you have kids. Close to food places and gas stations. We would stay again.

We stayed here for a wedding held in the hotel's courtyard. Great shuttle driver and ride from the airport to hotel! Good suggestions for places to go in the area and shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel. Quick responsiveness to report of leak in hotel room and move into room of same caliber. Would def stay again!!

The Indigo has a clean, crisp look to it. The room was a basic room, but didn't appear like a typical hotel room. It was cheerful, clean and modern. The color scheme and all of the imagery, from the wallpaper in the hall of enlarged blades of grass with a bright blue background, to the enlarged purple flower over the commode, all set the stage for a green, modern hotel. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit was a little loud, don't know if it was just in our room or that's how they all are. Also, we couldn't adjust the flow of air and it was directed right onto the bed.

We visit family in Durham 2 or 3 times per year and always stay here. It is convenient for us and reasonably priced. The rooms have always been clean. Staff is friendly. They only have an outdoor pool and no hot tub. Breakfast os OK, standard for H.I Express (I like their cinnemon buns).

We booked this just as an overnight after the Duke basketball game. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was quite comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was tasty! We have reservations to stay here again and look forward to it.

this was a very good choice for us.. the location was very convenient to our destination. the facililty was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the complimentary high-speed wireless connectivity was a super plus. Only negative: the on-line description led me to believe there was a distinct sitting area away from the sleeping area. In reality it was the standard chair and table between the window and one of the beds.

This Courtyard was extremely clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in very late at night and it was still staffed, lit, and welcoming. The only slight negative was the hide-a-bed was not particularly comfortable for our teenager. I would definitely stay here again.

We made a last minute reservation for our daughters graduation at duke university, still we got the best deal. Rooms had plasma TVs, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, and ironing board. Cable has HBO and ESPN. Free wireless internet was very handy. Breakfast area is very spacious. The hotel was booked out, but everything was well-organized and which made our stay very pleasent. We would recommend this hotel, as it offers very nice services at very affordable price.

let me tell you, I called the Inn and they honored my coupon on the phone and at arrival. The hotel manager gave me excellent directions to get to the
city where I needed to go.
Our room is very clean, good wireless internet and breakfast is included in
this Inn. I am very happy. Would stay here again.
