Great stay Problem Free

The whole purpose of my trip was to take my family to my former college homecoming game. Check in of the hotel was at 3pm but the game started at 2pm. We arrived at the hotel at about 1245pm and I asked the very nice young lady at the front counter if there were any rooms available. She called house keeping and got us checked in by 1255pm. Praise The Lord! I highly recommend this hotel.

We took this trip as part of our honeymoon. Everything was perfect. The staff is very knowledgeable about all of the locations and even made great suggestions. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this has to be the best.

Rather old hotel in need of some makover. The room was nice and clean with excellent beds. The bathroom was clean but some tiles were missing.
We were looking for a low cost sleep over on our way to Florida and the hotel was better than expected, located close to the shopping street with a lot of small shops.

I was afraid of the place. All the hotels I stayed at, this was the worst. I was afraid to take my clothes off and sleep in the bed. The lights didn't work, something kept biting me in the bed. The toilet didn't want to flush. The inside of the tub was dirty. The shower curtain had mildew on the bottom of it. I really didn't like that place.

Ok but is not worth the price

I requested a king size bed ended up with two doubles, the rook smelled like smoke, the front desk clerk was not friendly, the shower walls was not clean, you could hear whatever was going on in the next room as if you were there. I would not ever stay here. From previous trips I have always gotten what I reserve, my rooms never smelled like smoke and the walls never been so thin. And God behold I never stayed at a hotel with nasty shower walls.

This is a well located, older motel. Judging from the vehicles (trucks) parked in the parking lot, most of the renters were construction workers.
My wife and I did not take advantage of their breakfast offering..
The price was right; however, we would like to have a more up scale facility.

I was there for a family reunion. The hotel was comfortable. The only drawback was the fitness room. It only had one treadmill that stopped in the middle of my workout twice. I had to wait to get on.

We were in Vicksburg to bury my wife's grandmother. None of the family has lived there in decades, so we stayed at the Holiday Inn. There were 14 of us, and we tend to get a little loud when we congregate to visit as we live in three different states and don't get together often. To accommodate us, the hotel let us use a banquet room free of charge, and the Mexican restaurant, Cilantro's, even sent wait staff to us and served us in that room. (The food was good, too.) They didn't have to do any of this, but were very gracious about making sure we were well taken care of. It may not be a fancy, 5-star hotel, but it's new, clean, and the hospitality is beyond 5-star.

Sunday 21 February. After a very late night at a party Saturday night, the cleaning staff knocked on the door and woke us up at 8:15AM Sunday morning!!! Not only us!1 I got dressed and to the door to find them walking the hall knocking on ALL doors!!!!!! The desk clerk got an ear full from several guests. If that maid is still employed, I'll bet she doesn't wake guests early on Sundays any more!!

We met family in Vicksburg and enjoyed a night at the casinos. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. If we are in the Vicksburg area in the future we will book at Rodeway Inn again.

The hotel was definitely a good value! We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was very convenient to the outlet stores & the Vicksburg Battlefield. The staff person upon check-in wasn't very friendly, though - I actually felt as if I were bothering her. Housekeeping & Breakfast personnel were very helpful & friendly, however.

Our stay was better than we thought it would be. The room was great with a great style. The bathroom was clean and modern. We enjoyed the pool/spa, breakfast and happy hour. We also enjoyed the free cookies and work space area so that we could print our boarding passes. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend anyone to stay!

OMG What a dump

We have never stayed in a place like this in our life. We were so scared but because of the hurricane refugees being relocated to Vicksburg,there were no other rooms available anywhere for any price. The stairwells of this hotel were filthy, the room next to us had 3 big battery ram marks in the door and was of course unoccupied.If you wanted ice you were given a plastic bag and dipped your hands in a cooler sitting on the lobby floor as dozens of other people had done. Other occupants had taken furniture out of their rooms and were all sitting outside. Unattended children of all shapes and sizes would run up and down the porch and steps and never once did I see anything remotely resembling a security officer of any kind. At daylight we looked over the banister of the porch onto a small patch of shrubs below and realized it was loaded with poison ivy. I felt sorry for the children who were playing in there the night before.

We arrived tired and the hotel had lost our reservation. Clerk made it work though with a first floor room. Bathroom was small and the door was awkwardly placed. Morning buffet was marginal. Coffee so-so and they had no eggs and no gravy for the biscuits. We ended up stopping at McDonalds on the way out of town. Next time, we will book a different hotel.

they were going to put us on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator,I didn't want upstairs so what they had opened was ground floor handicap which was alright and I didn't ask if that was all they had.If it was I had made my reservation in September so they should have had a room for us.All in all the room was alright.

Not horrible, but cheap for a reason

Visiting Vicksburg for business. They could not process my credit card at first and had to call me back to the front desk later. The room was relatively clean and had a fresh coat of paint. The sheets and towels were clean, but had some small stains in places. No hairdryer. No alarm clock, but the wakeup call was on time. Strange lady knocking on my door at 10:30 at night asking for "gas money".

Horrible Stay

We walked into the room and the air was not on. They checked it and it still did not work. The carpet was so dirty, we were scared to go without shoes. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. Even if you are just passing through, dont even consider it.

If you hate the smell of cigarette smoke, don't ever stay here! The lobby was very smoky which should have been our first clue, but we went ahead and stayed against our better judgment. The hallways, stairways, and especially the room had the strongest cigarette smells that I've ever smelled. Besides that, the room was terribly dirty and really rundown. The windowsill was completely falling apart and rotting & the bathroom was disgusting. We didn't even open our suitcase, for fear of our clothes being contaminated. The location was right next to the Vicksburg Military Park, which wasn't a bad location, but everything else about this hotel was AWFUL. Don't ever stay here!

I worked my butt off preparing my house to be sold. I was nice to go to a cool clean room when the day was done. Need regular Pillows not Giant marshmellows. This also happens in other Hotels though. They need more handicapped rooms available.

Absoluteness the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. Better make sure your shots are up to date before you check in to this place.
The room looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in months. Their was dried mud on the bath room floor along with roaches and mouse droppings.

I hate to be negative and I know the hotel owners are probably struggling to make business ends meet but this hotel needs major renovation or demolition. The carpet is in poor condition, the bathroom flooring is in very rough shape, bathroom tub finish is in bad condition, baseboards and walls rough shape, etc. We opted to have showers versus even trying to take a bath. It was hard to feel like we were in a clean room because of the condition. The television picture was poor. The water was good and hot and there was excellent water pressure. The coffee in the lobby they made for us when we checked out was good. We had a small dog and chose the hotel as the rate was reasonable for having a pet, the rate with tax and all was about $46.00. Unfortunately, the room quality and condition didn't warrant even that price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This exquisite example of Eastlake Victorian was built in 1870 and is furnished with period antiques. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information. Description
The hotel set on about 2 1/2 acre of land adjacent to Rainbow Casino. At our back door is the mighty MISSISSIPPI River. The hotel has been newly renovated in the past year. This lovely hotel is a comfort away from home.

We really had a good time, we took pictures on the river. We tour some of the sight, we visit and enjoyed the casino. It was a enjoyable stay alway around. No complaints.

When we checked in, the person at the desk, tried to change the [...] price that was agreed on. They said that because we had four people that they would have to add $10.00 per person. We had told [...] that we had four people, and a price was given. They checked with [...] online after a manager came in and said they would honor the price. We were about to leave and go somewhere else, that is why the manager checked and said they would honor it. By that time we were so mad, that our blood pressure was up alot, and we had told them that it was false advertising, and we had told them off. Whew! the anger I had. We did have a great view of the Mississippi River, but I would not stay there again.
