Stayed overnight 2 adults, 2 kids. The room was spacious enough and comfortable. Cleaner than some rooms I've been in. They missed vacuuming around base of the bed and in the corners, nothing unusual. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice too. we enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The pool area was clean-even the bathroom!!

Nice hotel with great service! It would have been nice to have an indoor pool, however it was on the side of the hotel that gets shade in the evening, so from that perspective it was well planned. Finding pool towels was hidden in plain site. [...] highly recommended spot!!!

This hotel is close to Barnes Crossing Mall and is very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar and the afternoon social hours of 5-6:30pm provided good food. The breakfast bar is a full breakfast with eggs and bacon or sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc. The afternoon social had chips, dip, cheese, chicken salad, and sodas. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at La Quinta Tupelo on my way between Atlanta and Oxford, I wasn't looking for much, just a well priced place to lay my head for a few hours.
The staff was friendly and efficent, the room clean and comfortable. Every possible chain resturant was nearby if you wanted something to eat.
There is a nice small breakfast in the morning, and its and easy on and off the highway. Well worth the cost.

I booked this hotel for 9 ladies including myself, going to a Women's Conference in Tupelo. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel and rooms were spotless, beautiful, breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. Hotel was easy to find, directions right on and located right next door to well known resturants and a shopping mall. We will definitely stay here again and tell others.

Not quite up to par with the rest of the chain, but it is Tupelo. Coworkers stayed at the sleep inn across the street was $65 and looked and was decorated the exact same. Overpriced.

At first, we thought the room a little small for the price, but everything was clean and in working order. The breakfast the next two days more than made up for the price difference between the two other hotels nearby. All of the staff members we encountered were very nice and helpful.

I really enjoyed myself. My son suggested that we come and stay there so he could enjoy the indoor pool. However he did not want to leave. The breakfast was really good. I would certainly want to visit again.

Learned upon check-in that I could have gotten a much better rate had I called them directly instead of booking on-line.
This is an old out-of-date property that does not match the photos on-line. Worst bed I have ever "attempted" to sleep on. The room was not dirty, but everything from the carpeting to the bedding was worn out.
I very much regret booking this property. It was worth maybe $50 for the night tops.

I just wanted to have a place to rest and relax for two days that was away from all the normal hustle and bustle of my somewhat frenetic daily schedule.I have stayed in some Motel 6's that were somewhat less than nice. This room was delightfully clean and comfotable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I missed a coffee pot but there was a place very close where I was able to get a good cup. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.Thanks!!!

The Nightmare In Tupelo

First room I was assigned had urine on the toilet seat and around the rim. Second room was hot and after 1-1/2 hours, it still was not cooling. Third room the A/C didn't work at all, except as a fan to blow the hot air around. I packed up and told the staff I want a refund and went and found another hotel.

We were there for a motorcycle rally. The MS region rally for GWRRA. The room was comfortable. Was not real thrilled at first when we found our room was directly behind the elevator but it turned out to be quieter than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Tupelo except for the cold.

The staff was very helpful in changing my smoking room to nonsmoking. I requested nonsmoking on my reservation with Orbitz but was reserved in a smoking. The breakfast was hot and had FRESH scrambled eggs and cook your own waffle set up.The hotel is older but our room was updated and clean. A good value.

Passing through and found this a clean and friendly place. Our nonsmoking room did smell but hotel personnel freshened it up, discovered the carpet was damp and they didnt know it. We would stay there again, also shopping and good places to eat nearby

The rooms were clean, comfortable and very good. The only minus was the loudness of the fan in the bathroom. It turned on with the light so there was no way to get away from the noise.

Wonderful newer facility. Rooms were great. Temperature control in rooms worked. Great TVs. Attentive, motivated staff. Would definitely staff here again.

All of our expectations were met or exceeded for our stay at the Comfort Suites - Tupelo. The staff, the location, the pool, the quality of the room furnishings (bed, TV, bathroom) were all top notch. If we ever return to Tupelo, we will definitely book at this hotel.

This hotel just was not very nice. It wasn't really dirty, but it just looked nasty. One of the mattresses was worn out and very uncomfortable.

Not what I expected

The hotel was average. The price was that of the price of a nice hotel but the hotel itself was just average. It had the smell of a forty dollar hotel. I had to check in at a neighboring hotel then drive back to the hotel in which I was staying (I'm not sure of their reasoning behind that). The staff was very polite. There was nothing about the room that stood out. the top of the doors have vents that do not close tightly. The location of the hotel was very convenient. I would recommend the hotel to somebody that's sticking to a strict budget.

I was basically there visiting family. I'm from the area, and i tries this particular hotel just to experience it. It has not been in its location long. I thought the room would be larger than it was. It was quite cramped. The A/C did not blow cold as it should. The smell of the room was that of a really cheap motel ($30-40). The staff was very nice but every guest of the hotel had to check in and out at the neighboring hotel(not really sure why). It provided the basics in the room like the travel size soaps, iron, coffee ect.... Being from the area I know there is one hotel in particular that better than this one in all areas for $10 cheaper. The hotel provided WiFi but it was the slowest high speed on the market. I would stay in the hotel again if others i know of that offer a better stay for a equal or less the cost is booked..

This hotel provided me with all the needs that I wanted with this trip. This hotel was clean, which made us feel great about staying there. It was quiet, which provided us with some quality time together without interruption. It was also refreshing, which helped us get away and enjoy life.

We were in town for a family member's funeral. The hotel was located at the right end of town. The hotel is old and weary but the staff was tremendous. The Jameson has seen better days and is in need of some updating. New furniture, new bathrooms, etc. But beds were comfortable and location is quiet. Close to shopping mall and restaurants.

Problem getting coffee packets from front desk.No maidservice except clean towels. Broken tub stopper, had to plug tub with hand towel.

Not My Kind Of Hotel

The towels were so thin my hair was still dripping wet 15 minutes later and it took me almost 1/2 hour to dry my hair. It is only shoulder length. We had to go to the local Wal Mart for a coffee maker and towels. The coffee at the hotel was terrible. It was like water and the breakfast was no better. There was hardly any fruit and Fruit Loops for cereal. There was no variety whatsoever. The maid never vacuumed our carpet the entire time we were there. There was a large footprint on the cover to the toilet that was never cleaned. Our coffee maker was not cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You could not get in the building after midnight either.

This property is situated within Mall at Barnes Crossing perimeter which includes shopping, entertainment, lodging, eateries and many different types of businesses. Also close to a golf course.

Really Ugly!

[...]The place was very old, run-down and I complained to the owner and he said, "I am trying to sell this place and go back to India". Trust me this was shown as a 3-star and it would be all the way off the bottom scale. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SHAKE THE DUST OFF MY FEET AND LEAVE THIS PLACE!!!!!
