You get more than you pay for. If all you are wanting is a small room with a TV, comfortable bed, and bath then this is the hotel for you. There was even a microwave and fridge in the room. No frills. Just a great night's sleep.

The location is very convenient. We just stopped to get a good night 's rest before traveling further. The air was turned down real cold - just the way we like it!! I would have liked it better if it were a little cleaner. The price was good!

Let me first start with the hot breakfast!! It was better than I expected. Omelets cooked right before your eyes with your choice of toppings, delicious grits, corn beef hash, waffles, bagels, coffee, cereal, etc. I thought that I was at a Bed and Breakfast! The staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean (even for a smoking room....non-smoking rooms were all booked). I will definitely stay at this hotel again if just for the breakfast, swimming pool and Wi-fi. :-)

I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool to surprise the kids. They had a blast in the pool and hot tub swimming several times in the day.I enjoyed the hot tub since I mistakenly thought the room I had paid for would have the jacuzzi tub. My mistake. The breakfast staff was very accomodating, efficient and cheerful and the choices were varied. We visited the exercise room and enjoyed that too. I loved the feel of the lobby and the beds were comfortable and warm. A fabulous stay in a hotel that still smells new.

This was our first stay in a Drury Inn and Suites. I enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and nicely furnished. Snacks in the evening were very appreciated. There was a nice variety of breakfast foods. I liked the location as there were several restaurants surrounding us, and we were able to walk to dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.

So far these have been old buildings and not cleaned well. There was hair all over bathroom floor. When the hotel saw that we booked through online agency that begins with O, they gave us a low rate old room compared to the nicer rooms in the main building. The only reason we stayed was we had already booked through O and were too tired to travel more.

We arrived at 2:30 to be told we could not check in. They advertise a 2:00 check in time but say that is an estimate. When I told them I would have to go some where else they gave me a room. There was an earring on the bed, blood on the mattress, hair and crumbs on the sheets, hair in the sink and shower, and the floor was dirty. You could hear everything other people were doing.

I was there on business for a week. The hotel room itself was very nice for the price. The room was recently renovated, very clean, and centrally located to everything, (restarants, shopping, etc.) A frigerator was intalled in the room on my second day but no microwave. My car was broken into the 3rd night as were 4 others. No security, or camera to monitor the parking lot. Although the price was right and the room was nice, your damages to your car would not be worth the stay. I would not stay there again.

I was in town for my cousin's wedding and booking a hotel room in Meridian is always infuriating. I think the rooms there are way overpriced, but unfortunately it's one those little towns that everyone stops for the night on their long drives. So I know I'll have to spend at least $60/night on a room there.
The Jameson was alright for the price. It's in a safe part of town, it has free breakfast (that I never got to try because it ends too early for me), and the staff were nice. The room wasn't the cleanest, but it also wasn't the dirtiest I've stayed in. I would keep my socks on. Also the walls are really thin. Each morning I awoke around 7 to the sound of the thundering herds leaving in the morning, but that's something you get with every motel room.

Clean nice hotel. Friendly staff. Noisy neighborhood though - two trains, several police/fire vehicles with sirens in the night hours. breakfast was ok, but kinda skimpy. I felt safe in the hotel. Kleenex ran out after 3-4 sheets -- no refill in room. Amenities otherwise ok. Would stay again for hotel; noise maybe not so much. Noise not hotel related. Hotel room rub and ottoman kinda threadbare or nearing so.

I travel all the time, so I have experience with hotels. This hotel is nothing special but it is clean and quiet. A decent value for the cost. Location was good for my purpose, which was to work downtown, and it is convenient to the interstate also. I'll stay here again.

I enjoyed the stay only thing that was wrong was the toilet was about to come up out the floor.
