We would like to have a small refrigerator in our room. Usually we have one at most hotels, also their was a dog in the room next to ours. We did not know animals were okay at the hotel before we booked. We should have read the info. The shower was also some what of a problem. Water come out from under the and the shower heads were hard to adjust. But overall we were satisfied. We did not spend a lot of time in the room.

Stayed 12/21-12/23 and the room and staff were great. Really enjoyed the buffet each night for dinner.
We ate as much seafood as we could. All of it was delicious! I must say that the slots were not paying at all!!! But we found that in all the surrounding casinos.
We have stayed here numerous times and would definitely stay at the Isle of Capri again.

My husband and I had tickets to see a concert @ the hard rock, so we wanted to stay over night. Oak Manor was pretty close. Close enough to walk, although we cabbed it for $5 since it was storming! It's actually located right across from Beau Rivage. The rooms were great for the price, loved the jacuzzi tub! Excellent continental breakfast! Noise wasn't an issue for us. The only down fall I could see is, the hotel check in/pool area are right in front near the street. The rooms are located further back up a hill in seperate building. Kinda different, but not a terrible thing, just different. Also if you are there to gamble, Boomtown's shuttle bus picks up every 1/2 hr. Nice! Glad we stayed here!

Really enjoyed our 3 nights there. Very comfortable condo for all of us. A little surprised at the cleaning charge was $10 more than what was stated in the original reservations and the damage wavier of $40. Totalling $141.65 that including taxes of $6.65. I figured that's probably why we got 3rd night free. Really wasn't free when you added these charges!!!! Except for those charges we really did enjoy being there and would probably investigate a little further next time for these hidden charges.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the coliseum and was on the water.
The only thing I would recommend is an improvement of attitude for the food service workers.
I wish we had been on the ocean side, but it was still exceptional.

Me and some friends came down to see Taylor Hicks at Beau Rivage. Since that hotel was way too over priced, we decided on LaQuinta since we had stayed at them before. This one was just what we were hoping for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again the next time I'm in town.

Great for Short Stay

- Dec 6, 2011
My boyfriend and I decided to take a road trip to Biloxi for a concert at the Hard Rock. Since the tickets and gas already cost us a lot of money, we decided to go for an inexpensive hotel. For the price, this hotel was perfect for us. (It would have cost over three times as much to stay at the Hard Rock hotel). We were only staying for the night of the concert and leaving in the morning. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed the breakfast (late sleepers), but there's a Waffle House just across the street :) The location of the hotel was very convenient, right on the beach and a very short drive to the casinos, which are all on the same road. If we were going to stay for a longer period of time, we probably would have chosen something a little bit nicer, but since we were just looking for an inexpensive place to crash after the concert before driving home the next morning, this hotel was ideal.

The pool was under construction and that was one of the main reasons we wanted this hotel. They could not get us in the right room at first. They gave us someone else's room, then gave us a different one, and then changed our rooms once again. By the time we finally got in a room, it was after 9 and there was no time to go anywhere and do anything. I would go back to this hotel because the staff was very nice, but they REALLY need to get it together.

This hotel was clean and accommodating. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. There was no restaurant, but we ate breakfast there one morning (in a space with table and chairs) and the food was simple and good and the meal was delivered quickly. The outdoor pool was not clean, but it was too cold to swim anyways. The location was very convenient to the beach, Ocean Springs, and Keesler Air Force base.

Hotel was comfortable with a very friendly staff. The continental breakfast was nice and the staff kept things clean and the breakfast bar filled as you ate. Nothing ever ran out. We made this trip for a funeral but we will be going back for pleasure in about 3 weeks and we will probably stay here again. I do think they need some security riding through parking lot on weekends! On Friday night, there were air horns blowing and loud trucks in parking lot until midnight but Saturday night there was no problem. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The Staff were very nice, got me into my room quickly with out a problem. The Room it self was nice on first look, but the dresser was damaged, the TV had very little cable channels. The wireless internet only worked for one of the three nights that I stayed at the hotel, which made for a hard time for my wife and I to really enjoy the area. we had to use our phones that didn't have very good service around the hotel. The breakfast wasn't talked about at all, so I didn't know if there was one even offered to us. I loved the hot water. The rooms air conditioning unit was blocked by the window curtains so the room only got cold when we left the window open, and being on the first floor that was not something that I wanted to do. So during the 3 nights that I stayed at the hotel the room was hot even when the unit was set at 60 degrees, the unit never turned off.

Right across the street from the beach, really friendly staff. But it just wasn't clean. Stains on the blankets and sheets. Floors were kinda gross

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were updated with a contemporary look and were clean and neat. The beds, however are very uncomfortable platform type beds.
