Great hotel, reasonable price!

My family and I stayed here in Nov 2011 and the staff was friendly and helpful. Check in/check out was smooth and fast-- just the way I like it when I have a 5-year-old waiting. The cookie at check in was great for the kid. We got what I thought was a reasonable rate for a two queen room. The room itself was clean and had enough space for the family (no funny odors, weird stains, nor dirty sheets--- I have had at other hotels--gross!)
My major complaint is the road to the hotel is under construction currently and so getting into/out of the hotel parking lot was a bit challenging.

What's that smell?

When you first walk-in it smells of urine slightly, luckily the rooms or at least my room didn't smell like that. Make sure you take a cleaning sponge for any dirty dishes unless you like trusting towels..... The bed was as hard as a rock and they definitely hadn't deep cleaned the room in months but overall for the price; I got what I paid for. Decent location.

Checked in super late (5am) after being awake for 22 hours straight.. Host at the desk was extremely nice and helpful. He made sure to get us the latest check out possible so we could get some rest before getting on the road again. The cleaning staff however did their best to make sure we got as little sleep as possible. Disregarded the do not disturb sign twice, Ran into our actual door with come kind of heavy cart twice And, could be constantly heard shouting back and forth all morning. We checked out unrested to say the least. Room was nice, but building was hard to find.

We were visiting friends and family and the zoo, and this hotel was perfect for us! The staff was super helpfull and crazy nice! The room was great with a sitting area, perfect for the kiddos. Breakfast was good as well, enough of an option for the whole family. And the best part: the showers had great pressure and the hot water lasted FOREVER! We are pretty picky about our hotels and can honestly say there are only 2 that we have stayed at in the last 5 years that we would stay at again, and this place is one of them :)

The hotel room itself, was a great value. The couple of times that I needed to utilize that front desk staff were quite lacking. I had a problem with my key on the second day and had to get a replacement key. That key didn't work so I had to return to the front desk a second time to get a working key. Between the 2 front desk visits to fix my key, I was waiting for almost 20 minutes, with only 1 customer in front of me each time. The 2 free drinks nightly and the free full breakfast daily were good. Free Wi-Fi. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a great value.

Good Hotel, Less Than Stellar Location

This is a great hotel with an excellent staff. For the vacationer, it is not in the best part of town. For the business traveler, I can't imagine a better spot. We stayed here over Labor Day weekend to attend a family reunion. It is located in a business district that was quiet over the holiday. While we were very pleased, it was a drive to any attractions or dining. We didn't find that to be a problem, but others may. The savings by staying at a business hotel on non-business days more than made up for the drive for us.

The room we stayed in-you could tell the beds had been slept on 1 side only. A divet in the bed, the staff was great. Might consider pushing the end time of the breakfast to 10 on a daily basis. We got in late Thurs. and by the time we were down in the lobby at 9:15 Everything was cleared out. But, we definitely will be back to stay

Hotel served as a good middle location. Hotel is 15 min. west of Arch and Busch Stadium and 25 min east of Six Flags. Some of the furniture in the rooms needed to be replaced. The pool was VERY discolored. They checked the PH and all was good, but it was attributed to the large number of people in the pool (4th of July weekend).

My room was very satisfactory, and it was cleaned well each day. Fresh towels, soap etc when needed. My greatest complaint is the loudness when hall doors were closed. Sounded as though someone was slamming them shut. Annoying in the afternoon when I was trying to nap, as well as later in the evening. On one occasion, it sounded as though the water was screaming in the bathroom, and I suspect that an adjoining room had turned on the hot water in the shower. Vibration? The continental breakfast was O.K., nothing special. All in all, my experience was O.K.

We needed a place to be near family and bring our 11 month old. This was perfect. The staff was very helpful and the room was just right. We stayed in one of the penthouses..the only negative I can say is that the staff told me there was only one of them so I rushed to book and now I learn there are "more than 30." But, we stayed in one and there was a pack and play already in the room for us when we arrived. The baby stayed downstairs near the living room and kitchen and we stayed upstairs. He could roam around (crawl and pull up!) and we could have our stuff upstairs. It was fine and once he fell fast asleep, we could be in the next room visiting with family and he was never bothered. It was just what we needed.

Nice place to stay, clean, quiet, nice pool. Breakfast was good, even though the waffle iron broke during our stay. Evening social had drinks and a small meal. Great for a family, especially with the kitchenette in the room. The only ice makers are in the room's refrigerator, which is close, but takes time to make, and is Super noisy. We would definitely stay again.

My recent stay at Drury Inn - Creve Coeur (Olive & 270) far exceeded my expectations! I was not informed there would be FREE breakfast (included in the price) when I made my reservations. Therefore, I was pleasingly surprised at Check-In when advised. Breakfast: EXCELLENT! Nice Variety of Food! Covered/Indoor Parking Garages cost $ at most hotels. Here: FREE! Seven days a week from 5 - 7:30pm; Mini Buffet "plus" Three(3) Alcoholic Beverages 5 - 7:30pm: FREE! Room: Immaculate and Very, Very Clean!! Hotel Staff: Excellent! I give 5 Stars!!!!! Highly Recommend This Location! Trust Me! Will definmitely stay there "again" next time in STL!

THIS MOTEL HAS A GREAT LOCATION FOR BURNS HOSPITAL AND EASY TO GO OUT AND EAT.THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN SMALL BATHROOMS. WISH THEY HAD A POOL OR HOT TUB OTHER THEN THAT THIS IS A GOOD CHEAP MOTEL TO STAY AT GREAT NICE STAFF.

This was about what I expected for the price. Red Roof Inn is in a commercial area, lots of other hotels around. The room was clean and comfortable. No amenities. No pool, no breakfast. Overall positive.

Overall it's a good place to stay. They could add mini fridges to the room, and the bed was a bit to soft but not horrible. I would and am staying there again.

A regular shuttle bus though to Downtown would go a long way to compensate for its poor location.

I loved the room and the bed was so big and comfortable. The hotel was clean and the decor was ok. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not have a car but was still able to do some sight seeing, the staff directed me to the Metro Link which took me to the Arch, Union Station and Lacades Landing. Riding the Metro Link I was able to see the Stadium also.
