the first room we stayed in was awful. bugs in the room and the room had an odor.had to live with it for 2 nights because all the rooms were completely booked. staff was very friendly and they moved us to a new room when one became available.the new room was great!!! no odor and no bugs!!! bed was very comfortable.breakfast was nice,many items to choose from.

The rooms were clean and quiet. While I had a problem with my room the first night the staff was very responsive and changed my room immediately. The staff at the front desk wre always friendly, helpful and professional.

We like to take a weekend away now and again to St. Charles and stay at medium priced hotels. We found Best Value on [...]at a great rate and booked it. The hotel was okay--better than a Motel 6, but not as nice as a Marriott. Pluses: The staff was pleasant, the room was comfortable and the hotel itself is located near a central shopping area. The free breakfast was a nicety as were some of the amenities in the room (fridge, coffee maker, etc.). Minuses: The hallways outside the non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel had a funky scent that resembled too much deodorizer. The front lobby door is not an automatic slide, so you have to wrangle your luggage inside as you grapple with the door. The hotel sits next to Highway 70, so traffic noise was kind of loud.

We are parents of 3 teens, and just needed an overnight away. We are actually from the area, but wanted some peace and quiet and a trip to the casino. We wanted a place to stay close to Ameristar Casino and food. The Ameristar Casino is less than a mile away and Texas Road House is across the parking lot. Bass Pro is next door. Old town St. Charles is also about a mile away. The rooms are good size, and newer furnishings. Small indoor pool, and small workout area. The front desk woman was very nice and efficiant. [...] We didn't try the breakfast. The hotel was very quiet, and peaceful. If you want a no frills, great value, but still want to be comfortable and with in easy access to everything in St. Charles, this is a great place. The hotel overall was very clean, but the hallways did smell a little funky, but our room was fine. Bathrooms were also big. Water pressure for a bath was great, but the shower head sucked. Biggest complaint was the toilet sounded like a train when flushed, and the pillows SUCKED! Other than that, I think it was a good value for what we paid for it, but bring your own pillow, or walk to Gordman's across the parking lot and buy one.

the room was large and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The free valet parking for hotel guests was an aded plus. The casino was very big and we had a lot of fun there. The hotel is within walking distance from historic St. charles which will be good in warmer months. We will be back again and again

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and noise-free(TV or talking) from other guests. The breakfast was very nice, served hot with several choices for all guests and constantly re-stocked. Within a block of the historic downtown Main Street shops and wineries! Easy access to Interstate for more shopping/dining options.

Came to town for a concert and got a double treat! Enjoyed a stroll down historical main street after a fantastic nights sleep. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and climate controlled....not hot one minute and cold the next like you get in some hotels. The bed was awesome! Very important to me because I have a bad back. Overall a very comfortable stay.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very spacious considering it had a bed, living area, and a kitchenette. The staff was very efficient and effective. The pool was a welcome addition. Very easy access to grocery store and restaurants and the interstate.
Breakfast was sparce but then again you have a kitchenette.

We stopped in St Louis for 2 days on our summer vacation. We had a couple issues with the room when we first arrived. We were offered a different room, but declined since we were already settled. The issues were taken care of quickly. The room was plenty big for the 3 of us. All of the staff was friendly. We took advantage of the pool (towels were poolside) and also the continental breakfast. The hotel was a little out of the way but well worth it for what we saved.

This was a wonderful hotel in a great location to be near all of my family. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had my daughter with us, which made getting out of our room at a reasonable hour nearly impossible. The cleaning staff came to clean our room whenever we got out and always brought supplies we needed when we didn't need our room cleaned. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I go back.

Staff was great! Room was clean. Close enough to historic down town St Charles to walk to Festival of Little Hills and Ameristar. AC did drip every time it kicked off but otherwise was a great time. So easy to find too.

Everything was very nice! Beds were great and cleanliness a plus! Bathrooms spacious and very clean. Shower head could be stronger but seems to be that way about everywhere. Didn't eat breakfast there but the breakfast room was very roomy and comfortable. Actually had handicap accessable swimming pool! I would stay here again no problems! Front desk could have been a bit friendlier but all went great!

My stay at this Hampton was amazing. There was not one time that I passed the front desk and was not greeted with a "Hello Mr. ..." and a smile. The breakfast was awesome and while I didn't use the pool or fitness room, they looked quite nice. The room was very nice and even had a mini-fridge (king room). I will definitely be staying at this Hampton Inn next time I'm in the area.

This stay was just a lay over for one night to catch a early flight out of St. Louis. We do this all the time, yet this has been the BEST ever sleep, comfort of bed, quiet, and very frendly staff. There was even good presure in the shower!At this location there were plenty of places to eat eather walking or a short drive. Even shoping if that is your pleasure.I have already told friends who travel often and stay in hotels. My husband and I will be staying at Red Roof Inn's in the furture. I had meetings at the Ameristar Convention Center. Only needing a place to sleep, this was a good option in price. The room was clean and spacious.The business center for most part handled my needs.

Description
Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment.

Hotel was in a good location for our sightseeing needs, with a good price(for a budget concerned person)friendly counter staff. Room clean. could have used better pillows. Saw Old Town St. Charles, and The St. Louis Arch. Haven't traveled in a long time, and this was a great trip !!

Good for what it was, although was disgusted by cigarette butt I found floating in the toilet of my supposedly non-smoking room upon arrival
