This hotel was a great value yet some of the experience was less than desirable. Pros: spacious rooms with good amenities considering such a low price, friendly staff, airport and car rental transportation. Cons: Cleanliness and upkeep were poor to fair, there was only one person to run both the front desk and the shuttle van. This meant that people would have to wait at the front desk to check in or out for up to 30 mins and, likewise, one could wait 30 mins or more to get picked up. In the cold, that was unfun.

First floor was smoking floor and to get to the elevator for the upper floors we had to walk through a long hall that smelled of smoke. We had a non smoking room but had to walk through this hall each time we were in or out.

Perfect near airport and great shuttle

I stayed there because I had an early flight. The hotel was good for what I wanted. The staff was friendly and helpful. They pick me up from the car rental return and then took me to the terminal at 4:00 am no questions asked. Great service.

Close to airport, convenient shuttle, finicky shower

The main problem was it was hard to turn the bath into the shower. Fortunately my boyfriend figured it out (maybe just pulled it hard enough), but if I had been by myself I might have not been able to take a shower. Other than that, it was fine, the airport shuttle was very convenient - it's practically seconds away from the airport and they will take you whenever you want to go.

The hotel shutle service isGREAT, we had a 5:30am flight out of MCI,and our return flight at 12:10am. Called and shuttle was ready to pick us up----only 10 minute wait. Aaron is a wonderful driver and employee.

I really enjoyed the stay at Fairfield. I was in for just a day and yet the staff did everything to make me comfortable and feel welcome. The shuttle driver took me over to a local shopping center where I could get a good meal. The locale is very close to the airport but not near much of anything else. It was just what I needed for this trip.

The hotel allows visitors to park in their lot and take their shuttle to the airport and save the cost of parking fees while on their trip. They pick you up when you return and return you to your car. Makes the cost of room seems more reasonable.

Stayed one night to attend afternoon meeting and found the refurbished hotel a pleasure. Better than that, the staff is extremely accomodating. After spilling red wine on a white business shirt, they asked to take it (after returning to my room) to attempt to clean it. It came back cleaned pressed and perfect. The food in the restaurant is as good as any Marriott in which I've stayed and my Marriott account has almost 300K points.

I stayed at this hotel with my brother and sister for a wedding. The lobby is gorgeous, with a very zen feeling to it with waterfalls and simple design. It's a great place to have the complementary breakfast or just relax. The bride and groom also had the reception in one of the ballrooms. Another great perk: the free shuttles to the airport and the Zona Rosa shopping center.
The room itself was spacious and clean. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom and living room each had its own tv, which made it convenient for my brother to watch one thing and my sister and I to watch another.
The only complaint: the toilet wasn't very...what's the word...powerful. It got clogged during our stay, but someone came up right away, and came back while we were out to fix it.

Met family from Kansas there. Great family hotel, though lots of kids in the pool make it hard for adults to actually swim. One front desk clerk seemed very inconvenienced every time we talked to her, but otherwise staff was very nice. Absolutely LOVE their breakfasts--and the microwave and small refrigerator in the room.

I usually stay here when I need to clear my mind from the chaos of school, or when I just want to relax. usually the staff are very nice, respectful, and I open the door to a room that's clean, neat, and cozy. We'll the young guy who was training at the front desk somewhat offended me when he put my credit cards and ID on the counter instead of in my hand when I held my hand out. A pillow case had dirt or some stain on it, and the extra blankets they keep in the room were dirt, filthy, covered in grass and dirt. I didn't realize that until I got up covered in grass and dirt. I've stayed here about 9 to 12 times so far, I think I'll find me a new get away spot.

Very friendly staff older Hotel but nice, need a car it is away from everything but has a diner in hotel

Nice but not what i paid for

I paid for a suite with a separate bedroom and a pull out couch. I paid for a handicap accessible room that one was allowed to smoke in. What i got was a one bed room with no second pull out bed that was non smoking (ok i can live with that) and not at all handicap accessible on the second floor. The hotel blamed the mix up on [...].
