The room was clean and comfortable. We were just staying the night for our anniversary and Black Friday shopping. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired, but overall we had a great stay.

Was in town for a funeral. Booked the closest hotel to my destinations. Right off the highway, very easy to find. Large room with kitchen. Everything worked like new.
Great bed and the best hotel shower I have ever experienced and I've been in many very expensive hotels here and abroad.
They have a fully stocked "7-11" near the lobby that operates on the honor system. It's just right for my life stile.
Very quiet and extremely clean.
I can't say enough about this hotel. I will always look for Candlewood Suites from now on!

I only spent a short time at this hotel (late check in Sunday night, 7am check out the next morning), but it was clean, which is all I can ask for! Also, it was only a 2 minute drive to the capitol and the supreme court.

The hotel was very easy to get in and out of. Not just the room but the parking and access to the street was great.
The only bad thing I can remember is that one room was very cold because one of the bedroom heaters did not work.
It was nice and quiet even tho the hotel was somewhat full. I would stay there again.

Good choice for a Mizzou game day.

We stayed here on a "Parent's Weekend" for Mizzou and their first home football game. Easy to find from Columbia.
King bed was two twins pushed together...Very uncomfortable. Our 6'1" son had his feet hanging off the end of the bed on the suite's hide-a-bed. It too was uncomfortable for him. Air conditioner worked, but was slow to cool the room.
There were many families in the hotel that night. Guests were allowing their children to run the hallways at 2:00 a.m. This seems to be a trend,as it has happened in the last three overnights we have done in three different locations.
The price was lower by $24 than quoted on Orbits...so that was a nice surprise!

Lovely hotel, and a great location! just a short walk (maybe 4 blocks) to the capitol, and there were many nice places to eat or have a drink (or both)along the way. (Madison's Cafe was very good!)
The front desk staff (late night) was a little disorganized, but they gave us cookies to make up for the confusion. freshly baked chocolate chip cookies go a long way when you're away from home!! LOL
In addition to my personal stay, i was attending a conference being held in one of their grand ballrooms. Their wait staff was excellent during the conference. both breakfast and lunch were served during the event, and the staff was quiet, efficient, and not disruptive in any way to the event or the speakers. very nicely done. (the food was good, too!)
Not only is this a very nice hotel, where your stay will be peacful and pleasant, it's also a very nice venue for your next event.

I love Doubletree for the cookies, so these guys got that right. The shower/faucet leaked for the remainder of the night. The hotel was in the center of activity and was very near my destination. Compared to other Doubletree properties, this one ok.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and overall I would give it a 7 of 10. It has a couple of restaurants within walking distance which is conveinent. Both stays there were issues with the internet which was very annoying and caused issues with my business trip. This one issue will prevent me from staying there again. If the internet is not important it is a good value, friendly people, and have a good breakfast in the morning.

The price was great, but you get what you pay for. The color was going out on the tv, the lock on the bathroom door didn't work, and I found an unusually large cockroach that I mistook for a small mouse. Other than that the room was comfortable and clean.

Good deal for the money

I was at Econolodge for my court interpreter orientation workshop in Jeff City.
The king size bedroom was nice and clean, had the shower supplies and clean towels, a microwave, a fridge, a TV, wireless Internet, and a table.
The downside was the noise of traffic from the nearby highway, but you can get used to that.
I did not like the breakfast that much--the oranje juice I had was not good quality. Other food, however, was decent (bagels, pastries, cereal, tea).
I would recommend this place to those who want to save some bucks and still have a restful experience.

The hotel was easy to find and very accessible. Though we did not use the pool, it was only because we were too busy. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It had a microwave and refrigerator. I have seen such rooms in 3-star hotels. There were places to eat within walking distance. The location was very good for travel around the city. It was a bargain for the money.

We came to this hotel after leaving an awful one so to us our stay was wonderful. We had everything we needed except a micro/fridge, but there was a microwave in the lobby. Kids loved the pool and the breakfast was fantastic.

Very clean room, nice and comfy. Small rooms but I would stay there again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

I don't want to say too much here. Affordable clean rooms in Jefferson City are a scarce commodity. I've stayed in just about all of the other places in town and this is easily one of the top two. If I tell YOU this was a nice hotel and word gets around, this place will get popular and I'll end up having to stay in one of those other dumps in town next time I go there.
So go ahead and book it, but please lets keep this a secret! And NO I won't tell you what my other choice is in the top two.
If for some kinky reason you LIKE dity coffee pots, toenails in the carpet, cockroaches in the bathtub or smelly, stained bedding, I can recommend a few other local hotels. This is DEFINITELY NOT the hotel for you if you're into that stuff.

Smell of smoking everywhere, even where it says "non-smoking," and even in the room. No shampoo, no hair conditioner, no comb. So please remember to bring your own. Other than that, it's good for the price.

First of all, the hotel is conviently located to downtown. This was extremely helpful since most of what you want to see while in Jefferson City, is mostly downtown.
Check-In was very easy. Room was ready and exactly as described. I will say, you get what you pay for. The bathroom door didn't have a lock (but as a couple, who cares?) The king sized bed, was just that. Although ours had a dip in it, not very comfortable, but if you slept on the other side, then you were fine. I wish that there was at least a hair dryer and a coffee pot in the room. I don't usually take mine when traveling (most hotels have one), same with the coffee maker. There is one downstairs, so that helped me with my quick fix until I found the nearest coffee spot.
We had a great time, with or without the norm room. We can't complain, under $50 dollars a night for a smoking, king sized room. Thanks Motel 6.
