I was met by courteous desk staff and check in was a breeze. I was directed to the building location with a map provided at the front desk but took a few minutes to find my room. Building is WELL lit. Bedroom is located in the back and outside lights aren't a problem unless you plan to sleep in the family room. Very nice stay.

Best hotel we've stayed at in the area! Newly renovated rooms (a real treat in the Ozarks), friendly staff, a very clean, well organized free breakfast bar, and a super location made for a very enjoyable stay. My wife enjoyed the fitness center and the pool looked inviting (although we didn't use it). Flat panel TV with lots of cable choices kept the kids entertained. Got a great deal on price in the off season, so this was a real gem of a find! Easy access to everything, including downtown and the new airport. Even got a free USA Today!

We did not receive any instructions to check in at a office in town and there was no office at the complex. Call to 800 number was not returned. We finally located someone who could tell us where we needed to go to check in. Very aggravating when arriving at 10 PM.
After that everything was wonderful. The rooms were exceptional and we even had four deer in the back yard one evening. The view was very nice and the location was far enough away to be quiet and relaxing but less than ten minutes from all the major activity.

Great location on the main Branson strip. Friendly staff, great breakfast, but two double bed room was small. Would stay here again.

PROS: The room was exceptionally clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was well stocked - even the coffee was passable. The shower was wonderful - powerful and hot. The cable TV featured a variety of good channels. The internet was adequate, but easy to connect to. The pool looked very nice, but we did not use it. Centrally located on the strip.
CONS: The rooms are exterior, so if the parking lot is noisy, so is your room. The "fitness center" is a fitness area. There is one key, which has to be picked up and turned into the desk within one hour. There is not much in it - a rack, a treadmill, and a recumbant cycle. There is a sauna attached to the room, but this area isn't big enough to fit more than one person at a time.
Overall, a GREAT stay with the exception of exercise. I will definitely return.

checking in is a nightmare. we had to ask several people for location. there are NO signs anywhere that say Carriage Place. You go to the address and you will not be able to find it. to check in you have to go across the street to another building, then you have to get a sales pitch from a "concierge". Also harrassed by same person on having to check both cars in for parking permits. The rooms, when we found our building, were very nice. We loved them. Checking out at 10am was kind of odd. wont stay at a "time share" place again. We were not aware thats what this was.

The property and price were great....once I found it! There was nothing on Orbitz or on the confirmation that indicated the property is managed by Grand Crown Resorts and there is no signage at the property that identifies Carriage Place. I was looking for the address on my confirmation. Having arrived in Branson at 11pm, I was left driving around for 45 minutes, making several stops for misguided directions, before I finally found a hotel nearby who was able to direct me to the correct location. Needless to say I was very frustrated by the time I finally found the place.

Met our kids here and had a wonderful time swimming, although the kiddie pools heater was broken down and the water very cold. But it was a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast items were great.

The room was clean and the surroundings was quite, but the dinning room where they provided breakfast was so cold. The food was good, but it didn't take it long to cool off in the cold room.

The hotel room was clean and it had a living room, kitchenette, bath and bedroom. This was considered the basic standard room. It was a great value and the location was great for a Branson hotel. The check-in office was a little tricky to find. We had to ask for directions twice. But overall, it was a good experience.

The staff as nice, the the room was nice ...the breakfast was...well, less than desired. Buffet across the parking lot in a bar...literally a bar. Paper plates, hot lids you had to remove for the food. 4oz paper cups for drinks...refilled ourselves like 3 times each. Very cheap. Would rather of had a show ticket.

The lobby building was the only updated building. The rooms were clean, just old and outdated. It's a great location for those trying to avoid most of the Branson traffic, although it is on the "strip" it is on the East side by the Dixie Stampede. The breakfast buffett was nothing special, held in a restuarant called "The Rowdy Beaver" it was pretty plain. Overall, it was a quiet hotel and a great price.

I base my hotel selections mainly on user reviews. This turned out to be exactly what I hoped for.....clean, quiet, close to shopping and many places to eat. The employees were courteous and helpful. The price was suitable. I would stay there again at any time.

1st Room Disaster, 2nd Room was nice!

Our first room was a disaster! Curtain was broken and would not close, toliet was dirty, tv was all static and the phone did not work. Called front desk they moved us immediately to a much nicer room that was PERFECT!!! The room was clean and convienent to other ammenities.

The hotel was very clean, the carpet was clean, the beds are good, the pillows are fluffy! The pool is nice because it has separate pools for age levels and 3 hot tubs. We did have problems with our hotel key but it wasn't a big deal. The location is great just off the strip and close to just about everything. We had adjoining rooms with my parents which was great because it's like it room was twice as big!

I booked a King size bed on [...]but when I arrived they told me they did not have any King sizes open. The only thing they told me they had was 2 double beds. I understand I received a discounted price but the price did not go down even with me not getting what I booked. The beds were comfortable and it was clean.

Hotel Desk Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast person complains every day about having to be there. Room is average size, but no microwave or fridge. "Fitness center" has one antique treadmill and a weight machine. There is no ventilation in fitness center and the room gets very hot. Staff says "prop the door open". No water or towels. You can buy bottled water for a buck, but have to go upstairs for that. Indoor pool is huge and saw lots of kids having fun. Adults can sit in the hot tub and keep an eye on them. Breakfast was plain plain plain - go elsewhere. "SPA" had no one on site and said had no appointments available. Called around and got other options, but no one had appointments. Hard to promote relaxation if the town doesn't cater to that.

The hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was ok, one was very friendly and there was a young girl who was very rude and unprofessional. We loved that the pool was open until midnight since we booked a king deluxe (which on [...]website said included a jacuzzi and it did not.) It is also very close to the "strip" where alot of the attractions are, which was very convenient. Overall a good stay and I would definately stay again.

I booked this hotel before reading reviews, which is not something I usually do. After reading the reviews, I was really dreading the stay. I was proved wrong! We stayed in suite #346, and it was above my expectations! It had 3 rooms total, you walk in the living area, w/ the attatched kitchen, and the kids had their own room and bathroom w/ 2 Queen beds, and on the other side of the living room was our room w/ a King size bed and our own bathroom. The suite was clean, the kitchen could have used some more pots & pans, but overall I was very pleased. This unit could easily be split by 2 small families, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room... We like the extra room, we werent on top of each other at all. We will stay here again

The hotel location was excellent for us because we wanted to shop and it was close to all the malls. It was a block away from the Sight and Sound Theater. We went to see the musical "Noah" there, so that was very convient. The condo we had was very nice for the price. Will probably go back.
