Great Hotel with Lots of Amenities and very reasonably priced! This hotel was nicely remodeled and clean! I enjoyed having free parking and the great breakfast. We brought our dog and were very pleased that there was not an extra charge. I liked that they kept the people with pets on the same floor but you wouldn't know it because I didn't hear any pet noises nor were there any pet odors. We went to the boat show and to Mall of America and this was situated in the perfect location between the two. We enjoyed the pool also. There wasn't a lounge or restaurant on site but many things very nearby. We will definately stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and the king size bed very comfortable. A breakfast was provided each morning with toast, cereals, fruit beverages, boiled eggs, and waffles. The location is only 6 miles from the Minneapolis / St. Paul airport and the Mall of America. Very convenient to the freeway.

It can be hard to find a hotel that's affordable and was really designed with families in mind. But this was both. The rooms are clean and spacious, easily big enough to set up a portable crib and not feel cramped for space. The staff seemed to love kids. We didn't get the rooms that had bunk-beds but what a great idea!

My daughters and I went to the Mall of America was located right across the street which was perfect! Shuttle to and from the Mall every hour which was nice.. Would stay there again.. Also has a nice water park attached which we did not pay extra to use, we were there to shop..

Let me go with the positives first...
I found the staff really great.
The breakfastes were really good. My traveleing partner had the same thing every morning - it was that good. The wait staff was top notch.
The room was clean, quiet.
The keurig coffee maker in the room was a nice touch.
The housekkeping staff was fantastic - nice little touches.
The hotel was 100 % full every night.
When it looked like I might have to stay an extra night, they worked with me.
As said in the subject line, I would stay there again.
The down side... What looks like a couch that might fold out is not a couch that folds out. beware.
My plane was late. I called to say hold my room. A room was held, in fact it was the last room, but I had paid for a room with two twins and got a room with one queen - which was not good for what my traveling partner and I needed. Granted, we got in after midnight, instead of 3:00 PM, but I couldn't see how the two twins got away from us. Rosie worked with us, but the night guy could have at least seemed apologetic.
Still, I would stay there again.

Fantastic Stay at Embassy Suites

We booked a night at the Embassy Suites as a winter get away and could not have been more pleased. We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool and spa were open later than most hotels, which was also appreciated. There was a free happy hour until 7:30pm included as well as a fantastic breakfast buffet which was served until 10a.m. The later breakfast time was much appreciated as we were able to sleep in and still partake in the fabulous buffet. Another plus about this hotel was the atria is spacious and good for strolling through, sitting and having a drink, or just people watching. The hotel restaurant has upscale food, but they also have a coffee shop that has great food for lesser price and more informal. Another plus is the free shuttle that runs from the hotel to the MOA on an hourly basis. This hotel is a keeper and we will definitely be returning again soon!

This was a very nice hotel, with a beautiful atrium and a convenient location. When I first checked in, there was a strange noise coming from the AC in my room. I told the front desk, and they switched me to an upgraded room in a couple minutes. Very nice and helpful staff.

This hotel is a convenient place to stay. It is across the street from Mall of America, there is an IHOP and TGIF restaurant attached to the property, it is close to freeways, and the airport. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was still in new condition. The front desk staff were nice and pleasant.

The room was quiet and the air didn't blow on us as usually happens. We rented a refrig for $10.and ate simple breakfasts in whenever we wanted. We were at our daughter's home for other meals so we didn't use the restaurant. We'd stay there again.

The room was kept clean and was very comfortable. The bed was a little too firm for my comfort. The breakfast buffet tasted fine, but had very little variety. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We also enjoyed the flat screen T.V. once we figured out the remote. We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.
My kids enjoyed the free cookies.

I was really happy with my stay here. The staff was really helpful and did care about how I felt. The rooms were really clean and the beds were really comfy. Only minutes from Mall Of America. I will stay here again. I did enjoy my stay here. I dont listen to other reviews. I just feel like they are out to get a free room. I will tell people about this place.

My girlfriend and I decided to take a trip to the Mall of America on Black Friday from Illinois. We just needed a place to stay for one night and was close to the mall. This place definitely fit the bill. It is only a couple of minutes from the mall. It is a newer hotel with a more of modern decor in the lobby and the room. The room was very nice with. I liked that it had two flat screens and a super comfy king size bed. They also offered a shuttle every hour to the mall and indoor parking for a fee. The only "con" for this place would be the front desk folk. They weren't the most friendly bunch. For example, no smiles or a "how may I help you", just blank stares. Overall, it was nice hotel, and we would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. However there was a weddding reception scheduled for that weekend and the pool was closed for the reception so our children were not able to swim during that time. Also I dont think the pool was heated and if it was it wasnt heated very well we couldnt stay in for long before it was too cold. We had a room on the second floor right off of the pool and it was very noisy and the children were not able to sleep very well especially o n the night of the reception with loud music being played.

Perfect location. Needed rent a car. Management did not know there was a facility across the highway. Free computer use-great. Beds comfy. Nice restaurant. Shuttle bus personnal wonderful and accomodating for your needs.

Hotel in general was great. Breakfast was not the greatest. My husband said that when they brought out a tray of sausages, they were ice cold. The waffles were sticking to the iron and impossible to remove and the bagels I had were hard. Also if you get rooms 215, 217 or 219 be prepared to look at the back side of the vehicle cover over the front entry. The only thing we could see was a little of the parking lot when looking down at a certain angle.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious, wireless internet worked great. The electrical plug-ins didn't keep anything in the sockets very easily. And they do allow pets, including the annoying ones that bark early in the morning while you are trying to sleep. Otherwise it was a great location and great price.

Homewood suites was a very enjoyable hotel to stay at. I was kind of sorry, that I only stayed one night, to catch a flight the next morning. I was very impressed with what the room had to offer, such as the kitchenette. The only reason i didn't give them 5 stars is: It took 1 1/2 hours past my check-in time to get into my room, and I was not impressed with the dinner they served. However the staff, was very friendly, and helpful.

The bed was very comfy! Best bed I have slept on in a hotel. Very close to the MOA and Ikea which was exactly where we wanted to be. The pool ended up getting closed because of chemicals being used the day we checked out but we were able to use it the night before but didn't stay in long because of some other guests that were in the hot tub and should have went to their room and the hotel staff did nothing about them! Breakfast was alright not a huge selection and the juice was watered down but overall it was decent. Ikea is just a short trip away and has a restaurant in it with a good deal for breakfast so we may try that if we stay there again.

Great accommodation for myself and two teenage boys. King suite with the sofa was perfect. Staff through out, could not have been nicer, helped us with local places to go, tips and hints on getting around. Breakfast was a welcome surprise, pool was spotless and open early! Very quiet hotel no loud elevators or ice machines, perfect location for the water park (across the street) Mall and Ikea which we walked to. Would definitely recommend!

Polite staff. Complimentary juice during checking. Room was very good. The little pastry shop was awesome. The fitness center was fine - modern equipment and the room was big enough.
It would have been nice if the hotel had a pool. Also, at the end of our stay they emailed me some other guest's receipt.

Room was clean, comfortable, and a good value. Restaurant and bakery were good. Gym was very average with treadmills which only went 4.5 mph maximum. Hotel was very close to a busy freeway.

I have stayed at this hotel now for the past 3 business trips that I've had in this area. I am glad that I don't need to rent a car, the hotel shuttle services will pick you up from the airport (at any time) and take you to the hotel. They also have a shuttle service that takes you to the Mall of America. I would stay at this same hotel for every visit that I have in this area. Friendly staff as well.
