Smaller type rooms,but clean,nice bedding,newer flat screen TV,small fridge & micro. Fantastic breakfast,lunch &/or dinner ALL day from 6a-10p. Nice variety of foods, gets busy meal times,but free food all day long,as long as u consume it there. NEVER seen such a variety of foods at any continental breakfast. No pool or hot tub,which would've been nice after skiing all day. Ok sized room for 3 adults for 2 queens, any more then an additional room would be necessary unless little kids.

Rooms a little small, flat screen large tv was great. Food bar was excellent, kinda a hike from the second building across the parking lot. Hotel staff did not want to give me room I booked, said it could only have two people in it with a king bed, we brought an air mattress, for a child? Was told orbits does not know the local fire code, still got the room after little debate.
For the price it's very clean, free food was great for the kids.

this was my 3rd trip to the super 8 in Petoskey. we returned because the staff is so friendly and helpful, the accomodations are reliable and the location just right. the continental breakfast has plenty of options (the coffee is the only thing that needs help... pretty poor). we will visit again.

I booked the room solely on price and distance from downtown. I wasn't looking for anything special, wasn't planning on staying long anyhow. I was really surprised how it all turned out. What I figured to be tolerable at best turned out to be rather enjoyable. Great location if you're not staying downtown, less than a 5 minute drive in. Didn't have the time to enjoy the pool but thought it was neat that it was open 24/7. Really though, what grabbed me was the continental breakfast. Honestly, I don't know if I've had better. The seemingly homemade biscuits and gravy had me. If I come back to town anytime soon, I know where I'll be staying.

Everything about this hotel is great! The room service was nice, the owners were great and the rooms themselves were wonderful. Only "bad" thing is when US-31 gets busy it can be a pain to turn into and out of. This is a fantastic place for the price!

As long as this motel remains very cheap, compared to other hotels in the area, I recommend it. It is no frills, but has a good location, comfortable rooms, and is reasonably priced.
