Not remodeled at all horrible pillows gave me a backache No hairdryer bad televisions dirty shower warm juice wouldn't eat the food no computer to get directions not worth the money. Staff sat around watching tv that worked better than my room lol

Based on the price, the ratings and the pictures online, I knew what to expect- a room whose quality matched the value you get by the reservation cost. My expectation was correct- the bath and bed rooms were small and certainly not pristine, but they weren't obviously dirty or smelly and the sheets seemed clean. The lobby was nice and the wireless internet was a perk. The big surprise was how empty the hotel was otherwise- it was a little eerie.

This is a great hotel for couples who want to get away and enjoy being near the water. We rental a paddleboat and took it out on Lake Muskegon, ate breakfast and dinner at the marina (adjacent to the hotel), and watched the sunset from our balcony. The hotel is less than 10 years old, but lacks a few current upgrades (pay -per-view movies, dated room decor). However, we loved it, and plan to take our kids back next month.

Check-in/out was fine. The room was clean, but the curtains showed stains from wear. The hallways were okay, but many stains. TV was like watching an old B&W. No elevator for the 2nd floor. For the price, it was worth it. Most other hotels in this range are pretty dirty and run down.

GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY STAFF!! King bed is not that bad but Wish it could be more FIRM .. Again, it is depend on each person's preference!! The only thing I wish is the pool needs to be heated enuff for my grandson and myself to enjoy!! I still recommend anyone to stay at that place!

The check-in was prompt and our room was clean and the beds were comfy!! The breakfast choices were typical and fine. No one swam in the outdoor pool that looks incredible in the pics, but the water was green and slimy feeling. The medium sized indoor pool had the hot tub right next to it. The pool water was fine here. The hotel had enough indoor and outdoor nice seating for guests to eat breakfast or bring in their own food. The place was very busy and we did enjoy our stay.

Stayed overnight close to the airport for quick easy access.
Not too many choices that close.
Marriott is not much further and a MUCH nice place.
This is the lower end of the Super 8's.

Weird intersections everywhere

This hotel was great for the room itself. It had a refridgerator in the room always a bonus. The beds were comfortable the room a decent size.
On the down side...the complimentary breakfast was toast or cereal and they were stingy with that. Having stayed in tons of Super 8's this was very disappointing. Then while getting ready to depart we were looking for a lost shoe when I peaked under the bed. BIg mistake. Tons of residual trash, cable cords, misc. debris that was not ours. Very scary thought as to how long since someone has cleaned under there.
Last the intersections in the city are all quite weird in and of themselves, but when approaching the hotel from the one direction although there is a light, you cannot turn left and must pass it and flip a U consistently. Awkward location and next to some shady buildings surronding.

Very nice stay. The hotel was very clean, staff pleasant, loved the cookies and enjoyed a quient breakfast each morning.
Avoid taking a handicapped accessible room - the bathroom floor was constructed with the floor drain one of the higher spots, so water goes everywhere.

Horrible Stay--Beware-Rip Off

Our only request was a quiet room. We were placed between the ice machane and water pump room. There was roaring and dropping ice all night long. There was a lamp pole out side the window and the curtain were not able to block the light you could read a book by the amount of light. We used hair clips to pull the curtain to getter. [...] The front desk was not usualy manned. I could NOT get a hot cup of tea in the evening the pot was always empty.I think They would not move us! [...] Room & hall dirty. Room was not cleaned. just sheet pulled up. they should be a shamed to treat anyone this way. [...]
