if you are not looking for anything special and not a lot of money its the right place. hotel is not next to anything, kind of by itself on a back road...staff was friendly.

A wonderful weekend it was at this Jackson Holiday Inn. The rooms are large and lovely. The place is spotless. The staff is friendly and efficient.
The food in the restaurant is excellent. Tabitha the waitress is a ray of sunshine. I felt very much at home away from home.
I recommend!

This was an older hotel so if that bothers you then find somewhere else. Personally we found that for the value it was above average, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Location was so good, restaurants where everywhere and all within a two minute drive.

After reading other reviews I was a little skeptical about what it might look like. But instead I was very pleased on what we received. The room had recently been remodeled and was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and we received a very nice sleep. In the morning we were able to have waffles, coffee and juice before we left. I would recommend the place to anyone needing a stay.

This room was for a business guest.
I was informed that the room (319) had such a large gap in the wall/door frame that literally people could see thru it easily.
Very embarrassing.

On the plus side, the room was nice and the bed very comfortable. However, I could clearly hear what people were saying even when they were whispering in the halls. In the early a.m., a child screamed outside our door and I jumped up thinking he was in the room. The only reason we booked this hotel over others in the area was because their online listing said they had Movies On Demand. The check-in clerk said their MOD machine was broken and their maintenance guy had just left. But the morning clerk said they had been discontinued since May. Great job missrepresenting your hotel and lying to your customers. You've made an impression.

The kids in the pool got very rowdy. Needed an outdoor picnic or sitting area to enjoy being outside. It was loud in the hallway in the evening and it seemed like the kids were running up and down.

Cant beat the price and location!

For the price and location you really cant ask for more. The other hotels in that area run around $100 to $150. The hotel is right off the highway and one minute from down town. The rooms are basic...dont expect anything special. This hotel is a place to lay your head down and get a shower not a vacation spot. The rooms are older and could use some updating, but everything was clean and worked. The only problem we had was we asked for non smoking room and the sign stated it was non smoking, however smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. Beyond that we really couldnt complain for the price. The staff was friendly and check in was fast and easy. I would ask for extra towels right then and there if there are two or more of you. There were only two or three bath towels and they were fairly small and thin. There is shopping across the street, a lot of restaurants and couple of gas stations right in the area. This place was not bad at all.....remember you get what you pay for.

Average Motel 6 - clean, but old. It is 22 miles from the Michigan International Speedway and that alone makes it attractive.

Very typical low cost motel. Everything was clean. Has the usual shampoo and soaps. Free internet was worthwhile. Free hot breakfast with waffle maker. Nice selection of breads and muffins, cereal, milk, juices and regular and decaf coffee.
