We only stayed one night and were sorry we didn't have reason to stay longer. The room was very spacious with a lovely indoor balcony over-looking the pool and hot tub. It was a little noisy but was not disturbing.
The bathroom was a little on the small side but everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows.
The location was excellent as it was just 5 minutes to downtown. The room had a small microwave and a fridge and with a grocery store just a short walk it was convenient to have snacks in the room.
We travel a lot in the US and would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was good in comparison to similar hotels in the area.

Wow....didn't expect what I paid for. A good deal and top notch. Room was BIG with couch bed and king bed. Fridge, micro, etc. Quiet overall. Breakfast was okay...eggs a bit rubbery, waffle mix typical, etc. The food was okay not great. But the overall experience was great. Very clean. Very friendly. Will certainly go back again. And recomend highly. Oh...walked across the road the Buffalo Wings. Dairy Queen down the street. Shopping all around.

My partner and I stayed here on Christmas Eve in order to ensure family peace on earth. This hotel turned out to be one of the best affordable hotels I've ever stayed in. The king bed room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was warm and inviting; the pillows were fresh and fluffy; there was a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself staying in Holland for just a night or an extended period of time. It's in a great location for shopping and dining. Stayed while visiting the Tulip Time festival; was in hotel long enought to sleep. Bed was a little soft, but room was good sized and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was sufficient with fresh rolls and fruit. Price was high due to festival weekend.

We drove to the Dutch village and walked around, drove to and then walked to Windmill Island and visited with a Hope College student. The motel was a great price and allowed us to use the money saved to do other things. The motel was right off Hwy 31 and that made it easier to drive to Grand Rapids and Chicago. We might even take the train to Chicago from Holland next time we are in Holland. The front desk people were helpful and very nice, calling places to see/visit, in Holland, to see if there was an entrance fee and if they were open in the end of October. There was plenty to eat at breakfast and it was available till well after 9:30AM. [...] We would stay here again! There was also a computer available in the lobby for the guests and that was nice, as I didn't have a laptop.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the room well-maintained and comfortable. No saggy or overly firm mattress. The coke and snack machines were not working but they had a small selection in the lobby. I stayed an additional three days.

The staff was very friendly, our room was immaculate, and the location is great. I have no complaints!
I should tell you, though, that if you're accustomed to staying at the Ritz, this is not the place for you. My husband and I are most comfortable in economy-style hotels, and this one comes in near the top of that heap. The room was on the large side compared to what we are used to, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great.
I would definitely stay here again.

The idea was to have someplace the kids and I would enjoy being while the ladies did their shopping, and this hotel well exceeded that. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well decorated, the pool / lounge area was perfect too. Topped off with the free breakfast we really couldn't ask for more.

visited with my wife and two older daughters for two nights. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Pool was ok but whirlpool/spa was not working. Front desk personnel were helpful.
Would return to Comfort Inn for good value for the price.

Comfortable and clean. It was quiet when taking a nap in the afternoon.
The queen bed dominates the room. Barely any space to do sit-ups beta wall and furniture.
I now know what others remark about the walls being thin. It was not a problem this trip, but the TV volume--low, in the room next door-- could be heard.

We wanted to see Saugatuck, and this hotel is located 10 miles away. It is much cheaper than places in Saugatuck. We checked out Holland, which had little to offer, other than a nice mall, and supposedly a lighthouse, which we did not get to see after two tries. Then, we went off to Saugatuck, and later Oval Beach, which was beautiful. Since it is an unusual fall, it was 81 degrees on Oct. 7. The water felt warm, and the beach was not populated. It was a nice retreat. We also had lunch at a place called Phil's in Saugatuck. Ernest Hemingway used to hang out there, and the food, especially the Portabella french fries, was fabulous. Back to the hotel. The room was very small, but it was extremely clean and cleverly designed. We had a queen bed, but there was a
single bed cushion on the window sill area. We had a free breakfast with waffles, and the staff was extremely helpful. I would stay there again. It is basic, but clean. I like that. I want to spend more money on shopping, not on hotels.

The Hotel was decent overall, except that we got caught in a bad room. The cleanliness and amenities in the room was ok, the bad part was the AC and bedding. The AC was making too much noise with no cooling effect. This made our 1 night miserable. The bed probably was too old, not firm at all. It sort of went into a boat shape in the middle making it extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were either too thick or too soft. The sofa was torn.
Coming to the good part, the breakfast buffet was free and food was excellent. The hospitality was decent too. Overall it was a decent hotel for the price.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment. No reservations after 3pm on Sundays.
