It was new years eve and things were a little hectic/ there were no ashtrays in the room, but alot of effort was made to get us one-we did get one the next morning. Apparently people steal too many when they leave. All the staff encountered were friendly and helpful. the hot tub was amazing:)

The room itself felt like we were staying in a basement. There was also a good 2'' space under the door so a lot of light and noise came in. However, the bed was very comfortable and the room was large. We got exactly what we paid for, a cheap hotel. The location is right across from the mall and convenient. Again, considering the price we paid, I think overall it was a great stay.

My stay was very relaxing here, with friendly n helpful staff, cozy environment. It was quite fully booked for some wedding function n family reunions, but everyone enjoyed themselves in the lobby! As usual, breakfast was good. My King size room was spacious n nice,comfortable bed too. I booked for 1 nite, but decided to extend another nite, the staff tried to secure a room for me. Finally the next day, the manager confirmed my stay n gave me a good rate! The airport shuttle bus was appreciated. I think there is self laundry on the site but I had not tried. Across the street are shopping malls n restaurants to choose from. Malls close about 9pm weekdays but closed by 6pm on Sunday. There is Apple store in the mall near Macy's

You definitely get what you pay for

I think the motel management must have a special room set aside for those that purchase the room online. Some issues I had with the motel are the sliding window in the bathroom would not lock, there was quite a bit of hair on the top of the toilet and on the bathroom door, the a/c wall unit didn't work (I just wanted to turn on the fan part of the a/c wall unit for noise to drown out the traffic noise outside), there was not an alarm clock, and the room had a bit of an odor. I can't complain too much though because the room was a pretty good deal for a frugal traveler.

The location is ok. Next to the local residental area with some other hotels and convenience stores. Only donuts,coffee and apples for breakfast. I totally accept this hotel with the price I paid. However, don't expect too much there.

We arrived by the Northwest Amtrack after spending several days in Boston. Once we arrived in Portland, we phoned the Comfort Inn Airport seeking transportation to the hotel. Within 5 minutes a staff arrived ready to whisk us away.
The hotel was not the fanciest or perhaps the newest, but what it lacked in those areas were made up with the friendliness and accomidating staff!
When we were ready to venture out to rent our car, the Comfort Inn staff person who would have normally been the shuttle driver had just left for the evening. To our surprize the desk clerk phoned a taxi and the hotel picked up our tab for the drive over. What a shock!!!!
As stated, the hotel wasn't new, the rooms weren't all that fancy, however the rate you are charged doesn't reflect all those services either.
Also, there was no noise from the local airport, even though the Comfort Inn was just a few miles away.
My husband and I would certainly stay there again.

This hotel offers good value for the price. It's weel located as it is just beside the Maine Mall, mid-way betwwen beach of Old Orchard and good restaurant in Portland.
However, Holiday Inn bought this building from another hotel brand. Although it's now 100% non-smoking, we can smell cigarettes on some floors as carpets were not replaced when it was renovated.

This hotel was as advertised, a good hotel near Portland. It's relatively new, the rooms well layed out, free wifi, free breakfast was good, and close to the highway and downtown Portland, and parking was free and plentiful. We got a King Suite, which had a King Size bed and a living room with a half wall separation. This wasn't a true suite, but it was bigger than a typical room, and the slight separation does provide some privacy.

Very nice room. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was difficult to find since it is not visible from the main highways. Thought it offered complimentary continental breakfast, but we were told that was not offered. Overall, very pleasant.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Room was spacious and there was a small fridge for use. Best part of the room was that it had a massage chair and a big screen LCD TV. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location set just off RT 95 in south portland. Pleasant staff that is more than willing to provide information and directions to local points of interest. Clean rooms and a FREE FULL Breakfast provided right next door to the hotel. I would absolutely stay there again for a night or an extended stay.

The property was very nice, clean and the staff polite. The queen bed was very comfortable but the fitted sheet did not fit the mattress and was a source of irritation. The pillows were flat and very poor, The front clerk provided extar pillows and was gracious about it. The breakfast was POOR at best. There were no hot waffles, simply cereal, milk,OJ, bread for toast and a package muffin item.
Otherwise the place was great.

Mariott Courtyard is conveniently located next to highway. Staff was professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable about the areas and took time to give us the options that allowed us to enjoyed the evening.

Very clean, very nice hotel. The staff was courteous and professional. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel. Lots of little upgrades like ceramic coffee cups and glass drinking glasses in the room. Will definately stay here again.

First got a smoking room but that was an error because of orbitz. Bed was not comforfable at all thought I was going to fall off, Great view of JC Penny!!! if thats what you want to look at!!. But I guess you get what you pay for!!! Had to go back to front desk to ask for wifi code.

I have stayed at the Econo Lodge in South Portland many, many times over the past five years. It is never luxurious, but it is always comfortable and more than adequate. The staff are polite and available. The continental breakfast is mediocre.
On this particular trip, the cable box in our room wasn't working. I mentioned it to the front desk and it was functional the next day.
Also, the place seems to have undergone a face-lift recently - unfortunately, the bathrooms, always the most lack-luster part of the space, are not improved.
