What travelers to Ogunquit are saying

Ogunquit is a lovely town with so much to do. The Marginal Way is a must for anyone who loves to walk and enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean!!! We did this twice in less than 24 hours!! We had a spectacular lunch at the end of the walk in Perkin's Cove at Jackie's Too restaurant. The servers were exceptionally friendly and service was great!!! Their lobster roll is a must if you haven't tried one yet! We also spent a while browsing in the shops there--one of our favorites is Blue Willow which has a little bit of everything and the staff are also very friendly and helpful. Don't miss having Barnacle Billy's ice-cream--it's delicious and I believe homemade--I had the French vanilla chocolate chip and it's one of the best cones I have ever had. The public bathrooms were also very clean and it was easy to pick up a ride on the trolley in and out of town when we were done walking or had time constraints. We go to Ogunquit at least once a year for a vacation and this time traveled 2.5 hrs. one way just to get in a getaway weekend---so worth it!!!!!

Ogunquit is the quintessential down home, beautiful New England beach town. The shops in down town range from sweet and adorable to pricey and one of a kind. The vibe is, in a word, happy! The pace is slow and the food is incredible! We enjoyed house made sangria and specialty Martinis at Frills, an iconic ocean view, outdoor restaurant complete with bonfires!

This was my first visit to Ogunquit. The beach is beautiful. The water is cold though. After all it's Maine. The restaurants were very good. We had cloudy weather but it still made for a great beach day.
