hotel Not bad for price, however it could use some updating..Most light switches and outlets didnt work, did have a minor problem with toilet.. employees were friendly. Was a little disappointed with lounge area however,restaurant was nice.. location was good, walking distance to many activities..

Heating unit was very noisy - had to be turned off to get any sleep. Rack for hanging cloths - wall mounted - two of four anchor screws were pulled from wall and no attempt seems to have been made to resupport the rack. Train passes by twice a day and blows the whistle three long blasts - about 200 yards away. You do not sleep through that noise. Room was not clean. Suggest spend a few more dollars and stay in other area hotels.

The location was convenient as I was at a conference at the University of Maine. The price was right. I comply with saving energy policies and do not require the sheets to be changed nor the towels, particularly when I am just staying for two nights. However, I would have expected the bed to be made up and the waste baskets emptied. However, I did like the sheet they gave me with directions to points of interest.

The hotel is very new and clean . The girl at the front desk was really helpful and recommended a great place for lobster. Overall a really nice experience at the Marriott in Bangor , I would definitely go back.

After spending our days visiting family, it was nice to go back to our room at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order - TV, air conditioner. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of fresh towels daily.
The breakfast buffet was great! Plenty of variety, something for everyone.

They said the pool was an indoor heated pool, it was indeed indoor, but it was not heated. The 2 arcade games at the hotel, could use a major update. The DELUXE continental breakfast, was far from deluxe. When I hear deluxe, I think eggs, french toast, ham or bacon. There was just some bagels, toast, cereal. The rooms however, where very clean, and the staff were great. They were all very polite, friendly and very professional. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, if I spend another night in Bangor.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always receive top notch service. The rooms are very clean. Although probably an older hotel, it has been well maintained. And being on the main route to the malls and shopping it is very quiet. My daugher and I enjoyed our stay.

We stopped in Bangor for a little shopping before heading to visit family. We have stayed there many times and it is always an enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and they have a great Continental breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is nice, clean and has a great pool. Cllimate control was good and breakfast was fine. The "suite" with a fold out sofa was a bit awkward in that the sofa bed had to be manuvered around the AC unit.

The White House Inn was very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Even though we were off of I-95 it was quiet at night and couldn't hear the traffic, had the AC on. They had a full breakfast every morning which was very good and breakfast area was clean and neat at all times.

Clean, adequate room. Quick, basic complementary breakfast. Nice staff. Will def stay here again. Didn't see elevator so ask for bottom floor if needed.

My room was ready as I was a late arrival due to flight. Room was clean,bed was comfortable. Nominal noise on a Friday as I was on the second floor in the back. Rate was as quoted with no add-ons. Efficient check-in and check-out. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Basic, no-frills motel

Basic motel that was clean and adequate for a night's stay. Location was convenient to downtown waterfront pavilion and other downtown attractions. The outside of the place looked a little run-down and we were worried that we had made a mistake, but the room was clean and the front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. We had originally reerved a room with one queen bed because that was all that was listed as available, but they gladly gave us a room with 2 beds at no extra charge. The decor was extremely ugly, however since we spent no time there except to sleep, and the price was right, we could look past that. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, and the bathroom was clean, which was the most important thing. A blow-dryer would have been nice, but was not provided. We were worried that being on the ground floor next to the office would be noisy, but this was not the case. The grounds were very nice, well-kept, and seasonal flowers and plants made the place look more inviting. It needs a facelift, but overall, good deal for the money.
