Great location but a few of the basic amenities we get in other Hyatts were missing. No safe in the room, no bar fridge and they ask everyone to be quiet after 9pm as the structure of the hotel causes noise to travel up.

Easy check in and highly attentive front desk personnel. Room large and quiet. Only problem encountered was inability to get a full receipt from hotel. If reservation is through Outide service save your confirming email if you need a receipt.

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas time and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. This hotel seemed just as nice as the one further down Wisconsin Ave. where others in my family stayed, and was only half the cost! We were a 10-minute walk to the Metro which was fine for us; the hotel also offers to shuttle you there. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice. The huge flat screen TV was fun. The free WiFi was pretty slow though (256K); they make you pay $10/day for faster 6Gig WiFi. Overall we were very pleased to find a nice hotel right on Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda that was very reasonably priced ($70/night). I will definitely consider staying there again the next time I'm in Bethesda.

Excellent rooms/staff but horrible WiFi / Internet Service

In this day and age, any hotel with a sub-par internet and communication amenities are real disappointment.
This Marriott N. Bethesda is excellent in terms of amenities and cleanness. However the quality of internet access was.. outright horrible. I had to step out of the room and stand in the corridor to get just few bars on my iPad. What would have taken 30 mins in motel 6's wifi... took me nearly 3 hours because the WIFI signal was keeping dropping off. I went down to the Lobby area. Not much improvements. They said there's wired internet, but I have an iPad, with an expectation that WiFi is a defacto standard in hotels and motels around the world. Nice rooms and decorations and high quality furnitures and amenities didn't matter much to me, since I just couldn't get my work done.

Hotel was fine. There is limited parking, but I did manage to get a space. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Limited pool hours. Metro is a few blocks away. Two things I would have done differently. First was our room was near a security door. Everytime someone came in or out, it slammed shut and we could hear it in our room. Secondly, we had used our own laptop and used the wifi in the hotel. My e-mail address book was hacked into and everyone in my address book was sent e-mails for Viagra and other prescriptions.

The bed could have been bigger. It was supposed to be a queen size but it was really a full size. Other than that the room was nice and clean. The hotel smelled nice and was well maintained. It also could use a microwave in the room. Also the hotel is friendly to motorcyclists.
