This was a great place to stay! We went with our three young children. They loved the pool...the continental breakfast...and I loved that the rooms were super clean! The staff was very kind and we did not have any complaints. We would definitely stay there again!

Blue Rock Golf Resort

Not only did we like Blue Rock, but we were delighted to find out we also had access to 2 other fabulous resorts! The Riviera and Red Jacket hotels...both awesome! We were allowed to use ALL the amenities at all 3 resorts! What a pleasant surprise...we would definitely stay again!

Very quiet, nice golf resort with lots of amenities throughout the sister resorts. For a relatively small price, you take advantage of all the beach resorts' fun stuff.

Description
Our family resort features an indoor pool seasonal outdoor pool spa tub and a private ocean beach. Other recreational amenities include putting green and picnic area with barbeque grills. Our Kids Klub is offered during the summer months.
Guest rooms all have mini refrigerators coffee makers hair dryers color cable TV or VCR voice mail and high speed wireless Internet access. For larger families the Best Western Blue Water Resort offers 1 2 and 4 bedroom family units complete with fully equipped kitchens.

A good Hotel located on the beach. Nice location. Easy to drive to historic areas on the cape. Skippers restaurant was just down the road. Great place to eat. Indoor and outdoor pool. Great in case of rain.

Was amazed to find this location right on the beach! Was a bit disappointed to find we had booked the same night as MANY soccer players! The kids were running around unsupervised for hours after 9, banging on doors and running through the halls. That being said...the hotel was very nice. The room was a nice size with a tiny balcony that provided an ocean view. Many rooms have a balcony that is larger and ocean front. The pool season is obviously over (Columbus Day weekend) but the pool area looked like it would be a great place on a Summer day, offering pool side snacks, drinks, and plenty of seating with amazing views of the ocean. The room isn't the most up to date, although it was clean and comfortable. The hotel offered a band in the lounge that was great to sit and listen to while enjoying a few drinks. Overall a nice stay, wishing it was longer than one night. Appears to be recently taken over by Red Jacket Hotels. Breakfast in the AM ran $50 for our party of 4. The staff was sweet, although some could have used pressed, clean uniforms. I would say once they fine tune a bit, this could be a great spot!

Our restaurant gives you a choice for breakfast and lunch served daily in the dining room and on the outdoor patio with the beach patio grille open during the summer from 12 to 3 p.m. and The Lookout Lounge open for daily beverage service. Personal beverage and beach box lunch service is also provided to the beach and pools.

This was a good hotel overall, when arrived our room wasnt ready so they let us preregister and use the pool/beach while waiting. the staff was nice enough/helpful. the property/room could of used some updating but was clean.The restaurant there is only for breakfast/lunch and there are no restaurants within walking distance. The property is really for families. We were not with any children, went out at night, and when we returned to the room at 2am, within 5 min of getting to the room we were told we were too loud.We were not being loud at all. I guess your not suppose to be awake at that time.

My stay was very good except it could use a few improvements such as bigger beds in the ocean view rooms. Since your paying more for the view the room should be a bit more upscale. The first night we stayed in a different room and it was horrible, the shower had no pressure and the towels were dirty. Those were rooms 151-158 and 251-258. Those rooms need to be renovated and such. The rest of the nights we were in 234, with an ocean view and pool view. And a nice private balcony. The pool was very nice with a mushroom like waterfall it was fantastic. There also was 2 swings on the private beach.

Oceanfront but Loud Room Above

Everything was great except we could hear very clearly every movement in room above, including every opening and closing of sliding glass door.

This hotel is located on a quaint, quiet stretch of private beach ... loved having free use of the chairs, umbrellas & towels. The beach staff even helped set up our umbrella and then cleaned up for us afterwards ... great service! The first afternoon we arrived, there were tons of seaweed on the sand and shallow waters, so my 10 and 13-yr olds wouldn't swim. Thank goodness for a great pool outdoors (even one indoors too). But early the next morning, the seaweed was all gone! Not sure if the tide took it out or covered it up, or if the hotel raked it up. In any case, looked tons better. There were jet skis and parasailing available right on the property which looked like fun and convenient, but we didn't have time to enjoy them unfortunately. We did enjoy watching briefly from our room patio as others jet ski'd and parasailed. Very nice view. The indoor pool area also had a ping-pong table we enjoyed, plus hot tub. The outdoor pool area had a grill and staff serving burgers, etc, - we loved eating out there. Plus lots of blooming flowers, nice overall property maintenance. Overall loved the place and would return if ever in Cape Cod again.

Good place to stay with pets

My son and I were there to visit family. We were near the back door, so that walking the dog would be easier. Everything was neat and clean each day. The pool was enjoyable, and the breakfast was super everyday.

Ambassador Inn Delight

We tried to get a hotel for a couple of days, and we had a hard time because of a soccer tournament in the area that week-end. Luckily for us, Ambassador had a room and we now have a new "favorite" place to stay when we go to the cape. Restaurants are within walking distance, ferry to Nantucket is only 5 minutes away. Room was clean and bright. I wish I had brought my bathing suit because the pool was big and clean, too.

The location is perfect. The front desk personnel is a bit cold at first approach but then is very efficient. The rooms are ok. (we needed a microwave for the kids meals and they got one immediately). We all had the feeling it wasn't extremely clean. Let's say that it would be a wonderful place if the price was a bit lower. It's the ratio Price/overall service that isn't satisfactory! But we'll go back

stayed two nights and it served its purpose but it was far from the beach and breakfast, in my opinion, is not a few boxes of cookies and some bad coffee.

Clerk at check-in was not very friendly.Refrig in room had a broken door handle and temparature knob was broken. Anything we put in it froze. Maid did provide us with plenty of towels and soap- room was clean. For the price we paid it was okay.
