liked the idea of refridgerator in the room but the freezer was was big block of ice and couldn't fit my ice packs. bathroom was clean and the sheets were spotless (very important)

We stayed here while visiting family in the area and found that the best thing about this hotel was it's central location to the rest of the area. It is only 15 minutes to the airport and downtown; 45 minutes to Newport with easy drives. All else about the hotel was very basic. The breakfast lacked in my opinion with no yogurt or fresh fruit. My husbands waffle was soggy.

Ramada Seekonk/Providence Area hotel is situated off of I-195, Exit 1 in MA, just five miles from downtown Providence, RI, and fifteen minutes from the TF Green International Airport. The hotel is centrally located between Boston MA and Hartford CT. We are only one hour form Cape Cod and the Islands and just forty five minutes to historic Plymouth MA. The hotel is on one half hour from the Martha Vineyard, Block Island, and Nantucket ferries.
Many area colleges such as Brown University, Johnson and Wales University, Roger Williams University, Rhode Island College, Rhode Island School of Design, and Providence College are less than ten miles from this Seekonk hotel. University of Rhode Island and Community College of Rhode are less than one hour away. Other area attractions include Roger Williams Park Zoo, Colt State Park, Providence Place Mall, Seekonk Speedway, Dunkin Donuts Center, Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence Ice Skating rink, Federal Hill, Slater Mill, and the Seekonk Grand Prix. its just an ordinary older hotel. nice restraunts, next to highway and other major routes. very nice staff. great breakfasts. not fancy or spacious. rooms are good for washing up and sleeping, thats it. you get what u pay for.

Stayed at the Ramada while spending a weekend in Providence, RI. The place is quite reasonable, and for <$100 per night you can't beat the value. Room was a little small but otherwise comfy and I hadn't planned to spend much time there anyway. Only problem was computer in lobby to print out boarding passes was EXTREMELY slow! Otherwise, it was fine for what I was seeking.

Have stayed at this Comfort Inn numerous times. Our needs are basic as we come and go only to sleep. The rates are reasonable. We have family in the area so we have no comment about the breakfast buffet. The environment has always been quiet. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms and bathrooms are always clean. The pillows were undersized in width for our last stay yet not an issue for sleeping.

Always stay here when in the Providence area and love the Hampton Inn. The new additions of refrigerators and microwaves are fantastic.
Only complaint was that the bathroom fan wasn't very good. It took forever to de-fog after a shower. Otherwise, couldn't be happier with our stay.

I was visiting friends and this was a very good location for us to meet
real close to RI and many dinning options!
would stay again in a heart beat.
Oh maybe the housekeepers could vacuum a little later in the morning.

As I mentioned, the guy from India that apparently owned the place with his family, was way too unpleasant and was only at the front desk to take your money and get you aout of the way a.q.a.p. Rooms were as small as you can emagine- the bed alone was almost end-to-end in the room. The phone was not working, but everything else was decent. The bathroom was recently updated, the room had a small fridge, a microwave and a TV. If you only plan on sleeping there for a couple of nights and looking to save some money- this is your place. Don't expect much, this is what $40 a night gets you. :)

My objective was to get a hotel that was cheap, but clean, safe and livable. For the most part, I got what I was looking for. The price was definitly right! Showers were good, plenty of hot water. Pretty much clean (the drawers were a little dusty and the microwave needed cleaning). Location was very good...quick and easy drive into Providence. I would have given this hotel a 5 star except for the service. They staff (owner or manager who lives on site) was not very available, especially in morning hours. But they were very available and responsive in the evening. However, I was quite disappointed when we returned the 2nd day and our room had not been serviced. There were fresh towels and trash bags on the bed, but nothing else had been done!

The house has 5 fireplaces, two three season porches, wide pine floorboards and original wavy glass windows of the early 19th century when it was built. The house is situated on three house lots with ample grass, trees and plantings to enjoy from the chaise lounges, picnic table, or benches in the yard. The location is ideal for day trips to Boston, Plymouth, Marthas Vineyard, Nantucket, Block Island, Providence, Cape Cod, and Connecticut. Maps and brochures are provided on site for your use.
