This hotel is perfectly located. It rained our entire vacation but it was so close to the mall and movies that we were able to keep ourselves busy. The hotel also had an indoor pool that definitely helped us from jumping off the deep end!

Very nice staff. Everything was clean and fresh inside and out. Mattresses were fantastic. AC was quiet and comfortable. Location is great if you have teenagers that are always looking for something to do.

It was a perfect place to relax, and get away from the day-to-day busy school and work schedule! The kids loved the pool, walking along Hyannis Main St., and spending time at the National Seashore.
We enjoyed the breakfast which was included w/the cost of the hotel.

We decided spur of the moment to head to the Cape and have a leisurely weekend. The Holiday Inn surprised me. All was great, the bed was super comfortable, and we were located very close to downtown Hyannis. Just, the clerk that checked us in wasn't too friendly and wasn't very clear about what the hotel had to offer. We would stay there again and recommend to others!

The pool and hot tub were outstanding. We opted to stay at the contemporary Holiday Inn rather than pay the same amount for the older hotels in the area even though we had to drive to the area attractions. We rented a car to explore the Cape and the hotel was very close to the highway. We enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar to recap our day.

place was clean, wave pool and slide was fun for the kids. It was nice because the doors to the pool area opened to get fresh air in so you didn't feel like you were in an indoor pool. Court yard outside so you could bring a cooler and have adult beverages while kids did there thing. Went to the Paddock Restaurant for dinner and had a great meal. Little more upscale but the kids enjoyed drinking there milk with dinner out a wine glass.
Overall would return again.

Fun for kids - not the Four Seasons

We were looking for a last minute family activity to get out of the house and get away from the winter weather for a night. We booked 1 night at the Cape Codder. The hotel was fine for what we were interested in doing – getting the kids out of the house, letting them have fun in a different location and keeping them busy in the wave pool - mission accomplished. Overall the hotel is a little rough around the edges but perfectly adequate for kids to have fun. Our kids enjoyed the bonfire in the courtyard with marshmallow roasting, the wave pool and waterslides (a little crowded but none of the kids seemed to mind) and the video game room. There is also an evening movie that starts at around 8:30 for kids.
It was fun – I wouldn't want to spend more than 2 days there but overall it was fine.

I based my motel search on location near the ferry dock as I did not have a car. The location was very good. I also liked the location as the town with shops, the Jack Kennedy museum, and restaurants were within walking distance.
The continental breakfast was good, with the food being replenished frequently.

Nice place to stay on a budget

The room originally selected for us had not been cleaned when we checked in at 9 pm, on a January night so the front desk associate assigned us a new room, so I don't know if our room was typically for [...] travelors. (The front desk knew when we checked in that the room was not clean, so he didn't even need to mention we were getting a different room.) Our price range when considering hotels was $50-125. The room had a door directly to the outside and had the king bed we requested. The decor was what I expected from a decent hotel, not necessarily to my taste, but not dated and not shabby. Some of the furniture was showing age and use, but the room was spotlessly clean and seemed sanitary. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious. My boyfriend loved the free breakfast, and he knows free hotel breakfasts. On a Sat. morning there was coffee, juice, sausage patties, egg paties, waffles, bagles, english muffins, apples and probably other stuff I am forgetting. The staff was courtious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and were disapointed that we were staying only one night.

Was a very pleasant trip. Never had to ask for anything. The room supplies were replenished every day and everything was very clean. We went with another couple and were able to get together in one room without being cramped. I would definitly use the services of this hotel again.

Pluses: The hotel is located close to the ferry landing, definitely walkable distance. This saves you on ferry parking ($15-20 dollars from what I saw). Minuses: The neighbors were quite loud and there was a power outage for about 1-2 hours in the late evening (~9pm) and the front desk could not or would not move us to another room with power. Also, the bathtub was not particularly clean and the hallways had an interesting smell...

Mattresses were old and flat, as were pillows, which I had to replace twice as faint odor. Limited front desk coverage/hours. No room service. No coffee or toiletries in rooms. VERY pared down BUT a great breakfast and coffee, which makes up for much of the other shortcomings.

Hotel is centrally located and rooms were adequately clean. There were a number of children staying at the hotel and were both seen and heard running in the halls. The management staff also appears to be the housekeeping staff. When we arrived there were no towels in the room. We asked at the desk and were told the towels would be sent to our room. When we returned from dinner the towels were indeed in the room (1 washcloth, 1 hand towl and 2 bath towels for 2 people) as was the delivery person's melted ice cream container from Friendly's. Overall the hotel could use a little TLC and attention to details for some significant improvements for little cost.

Location is close to center of town but not walking distance. Hotel not worth cost per night. Room had overwhelming smell of mold which did not go away with the air conditioning. Also bathrooms are tiny with no exhaust system which means the entire space is always humid which probably contributes to the moldy smell.

Two points: We made the reservation [...] about a month ahead of time. When we arrived on Sat. July 2, we were told that they did not have the handicapped room we were promised when we made the reservation [...]. [...]. When I protested (loudly), they found a handicapped room already assigned to someone who didn't need the handicapped access. They assigned the room to us. Problem solved! (not totally...there was only a queen-size bed. not the two doubles [...] promised...we were tired and so did not complain further.) Having said all this, the service, the food, the location, the grounds of the hotel and the access to the surrounding community were fine. [...]

Welcome to A Cape Cod Ocean Manor. Your hosts Ashley, and Martin Battle welcome you. Having sold the Sea Breeze Inn which we had owned and operated since 1986 We opened A Cape Cod Ocean Manor in March of 2002 with an idea of a special place for couples. When we originally walked into the Inn and saw the views of the marsh and Nantucket Sound we were taken back by its beauty and peacefulness. Walking into each room we noticed that each had a view of the marsh or water or both. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information. Description
This seaside Victorian Inn is the closest Bed and Breakfast in Hyannis to the beach. The Inns Widows Walk is highlighted by a view of Hyannisport Harbor and accented by a warm sea breeze from Nantucket Sound. Each room is tastefully furnished, some with canopy beds and water views. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, tvs radios, and telephones. Our expanded continental breakfast of cereals, fresh fruit, home made muffins, bagels and cream cheese and our famous Irish scones which have been featured in several travel guides will give you a great start to your day. The Inn is very centrally located to harbor cruises, ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard 1.2 miles , shopping and restaurants on Main St. 1 mile , fishing, golf, tennis, antique shops, Kennedy Compound, Memorial, and Museum.Prices vary depending on the season. In-Season USD 80 to USD 150.Off-Season rates USD 60 to USD 110 Check-in is at 2 00 PM.
