I go to Boston a few times a year an have stayed in alot of places an have paid alot an had nothing special in the end. I took my husband down for a weekend getaway that included tickets to see the Red sox this hotel was a good stay. Its about 20 mins form the city where we parked for the day. The hotel was quite to come back to after being in city all day. my husband is also a smoker an was glad he could relax in our room as for intown boston all hotels are non smokers. We will be staying again im sure.

I now know what the beef about getting to the hotel was about. The road entrance into the property is horrendous!! My daughter brought her Tom-Tom GPS and literally thought that the machine was messed up until we turned into the driveway. Beware of Boston/Danvers Roads, they can be a nightmare. The good: very friendly and responsive staff, generally quiet room and quiet area, very reasonable breakfast.
Less desirable: The elevator chime was very loud - get a room away from the elevator. The room was not a "suite" as I would define it, not two rooms at all, The hide a bed was very uncomfortable.
Value for the room rate and convenience of location for our purposes was very satisfactory. While I have some reservations, it was well cared for and clean. A very good value for the area. I would not seek it out but would stay again.

Staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Cleaning staff very good also. Kept room in good shape. Getting to hotel from 114 West was awkward. there is no direct entrance. Overall a very good experience. I would stay there again.

Drove to Saugus to see house he grew up in & around his "old stomping grounds".

I enjoyed my stay. One thing, though...the air conditioner was making noises that made it difficult to sleep. In general, the staff was very friendly and the uniforms were nice. The breakfast was very good.

this hotel is attached to a large water resort, unfortunately arrived at 5 o'clock, check-in apparently was after 4, there was at least a wait of 2 hours to be checked in, we had to go and come back much later. I understand from the staff this is normal on a weekend, I feel they should at least have warned us, we were not there to go to the water resort, the hotel was absolutely full of screaming children

The hotel is conveniently located to where I work. It is very nice to have a kitchen and be able to cook. Did miss having a hair dryer in my room though.

Staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean and homey. It is a little noisy as it sits right off the highway. Also, the rooms to not have wireless access which is a must for every hotel serving business customers in today's world.

We went to tour Salem, Gloucester, and Boston! The sights were great although driving was a bit hectic! The entrance to the hotel wasn't at the hotel but next door... Should have a bigger sign at the entrance! Breakfast was very good!

We were on a sisters/friends' girl trip. The Courtyard was typical of previous Courtyard hotels I have stayed in. The staff was friendly and very accommodating - plus there was a Target nearby in case we needed anything. I'd stay there again if we were traveling that direction.

Wife and I just needed a place to sleep one night moving our daughter home from college. Clean room, good sized but no extras. No coffee maker, no hair dryer, no shampoo just two small bars of soap altho good shower. Noisey place for a bit on our floor, some pretty loud kids who had a bit too much drink, but we were so tired from 8 hour drive didn't much matter. Price was right tho you get what you pay for.

This wasn't so bad. I consider this hotel to be a party one. There seemed to be a ton of young people using the motel as a party site. Kind of noisy, you can hear people through the walls. The room seemed to be okay, not really too clean though. We found ciggerette ashes on the floor, crumbs, etc. Basically keep everything off the floor!!! The bathroom wasn't too bad and neither was the bed. But put it this way, I brought AND used my OWN sheets in this room! The staff was very, very nice! They are pretty accomodating. The location is excellent. About 15-20 mins from Boston & like 5 minutes from Salem. We will definitely be staying here again, simply because we are a young couple that doesn't need much. The price is perfect, especially when comparing to hotels closer to Boston. Just bring your own sheets & pillow cases and you are good to go! They have a pool & vending machines, unfortunately no breakfast but whatever. Dunkin Donuts are everywhere!! I would reccommend this motel!
