It's like staying with Grandma, if Grandma has wifi

For starters, it's a 20 minute walk from the train and the cab company charges a flat $15 anywhere in Concord, so it's a trek for us non-drivers.
The hotel itself is nice but it's old and it shows. The hot water takes a while to kick in; you hear the music from the bar.
The windows open though, and it's clean and friendly.

Charming Inn with a few flaws

Visiting with family. The location was terrific- could walk to rest. etc. One time, there was no hot water. Entrance to our wing from parking lot was through a door that leads to trash area of Inn- kind of nasty going through there. The inn facilities were wonderful and the staff was warm and friendly. Not all the ammenities of a newer hotel but worth the charm and history of the place.
